A Little upset. I sent my son some homemade cookies and other gifts for christmas and they have lost the package. He received a tag in his po box saying the package was there, but when he went to pick it up, they could not find it. I, personally, do not think they looked very hard. I was on the phone with him when they went to "look" and the clerk wasnt gone 2 minutes before he came back saying he couldnt find it. There is no way he could have searched the shelves in the back that quick. There were over $50 worth of gifts in that box, not including the cookies, and no one knows where a 2 x 1 box marked FRAGILE on all 4 sides has gone. It took me several web searches to find a number someone actually answers and I spoke to the supervisor. She left me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back saying she found the box. However, the clerk that my son spoke with never told her about the missing box. Laziness is just not acceptable. I hope the clerks there get a good talking to and this doesnt happen again.

The USPS (in general, but here specifically) is utterly useless and incompetent. Their only competency lies in the ability to provide bad customer service and to be as unhelpful as possible. They cannot deliver (who knows why?) to my apartment so when I saw that my package was coming via USPS, and not a professional service, I called them immediately and kindly asked that they hold onto the package and place it in my PO Box. The woman kindly replied, "no problem." I called the next day and was told that this was not done and the package will be back at night when the delivery truck returns. I was told to come in first thing today to get my package. Upon arrival, the "public servant" at the desk told me that my package cannot be found because there are "literally like 100 packages in the back, sorry." INCREDIBLE!

Horrible service when it comes to having your items delivered. They just either flat out dont deliver and when they do, TWICE now they have locked my packages up and forget to leave a key in my postal box to get them. Their delivery is always horrific. They suck and they know it and even worse they just dont care. I am so sick of get "sorry we missed you" pink slips in the mail then going to the post office to find out it is just a small package that could easily fit in my post box. Its complete bullsh!t and they do it on purpose because they are lazy. Also any positive reviews you read on this review thread are fake and are summited by friends of the post office management. I found this out by a former Aspen post office employee. So pathetic. You should be ashamed of yourself Lilly for giving fake reviews.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Employees are extremely rude. Phone calls are never answered, dont waste your time trying to call, the employees just decline all of the calls. If you get a package with 2-3 day delivery you should expect it to arrive in 5 days at the least. Somehow my package left denver at 4am on 5/29 and arrived at the aspen location at 11:30 am on 5/30. It took over 30 hours for a package to travel what take a normal person 4 hours. Then because the package arrived at aspen at 11:30 am it wont make it to my house untill 5/31 even though the delivery date was supposed to be 5/30. For the love of god please never ship with USPS. If USPS was the only option I would just never ship anything, its just not worth the bs.

Horrible every time. USPS misprinted the shipping label, when i finally managed to get through by phone, a worker told me she knew of the package and sent it back, then hung up on me saying she was busy, giving me no chance to follow up on it. No attempt by email or phone to contact me or the sender. Pitifully disorganised and rude. Also the phone number provided by usps is incorrect, the working number is what google shows in the indent. (Probably on purpose as they are so lazy, rude and inept, they dont want to deal with people)

PO misplaced my package within the building. Went there in person or called every day for a week starting on Monday, each time someone new answered and didnt know what I was talking about, but said they would look into it and call back. Then no call, and had to start over with someone new. On Monday the following week, checked the tracking number online again and someone at the post office had sent my package back to the sender on Friday. Never got a call or explanation.

I dont even want to give this place a star. This place is ridiculous. At first I called and called and no one would pick up the phone.. finally after the phone rang for a good 5 minutes someone picked up and told me to hold. I was on hold for an hour before I had to just hang up. My package has been sitting at this facility for over a month now and I cant even get ahold of anyone about it! I hope that I never have to send anything through Aspen ever again.

Slow. Very slow. Slower service than anywhere else in the country. Worst customer service experience at the postal office ever. Come prepare to wait...And wait even more. Sometimes you will see 3-4 employees around but only 1 of them will be on "duty". Lets get a machine to do their job.

Has to be one of the worst in the country. I hate even giving one star. Workers are totally inept and they dont care. Its actually unbelievable. I always say its a good exercise in self control to go there and try to be civil to the rag-tag cast of characters "working" here.

Terrible service. The tellers are very lazy and not helpful at all. They just dont care anyway - easy money, just sitting on your fat ass doing nothing all day. Plus, its closed the day after holidays, which doesnt make sense.

Wasted my time trying to get a passport renewed--given the wrong information, excuse after excuse, and then asked me to "take it up with the clerk I spoke to" instead of taking ownership and responsibility as his supervisor.

I have yet to have one piece of mail, or package delivered on time by the Aspen post office. Not. One. Truly the worst there is. Today alone, two packages have been delayed (for no reason, just like always). Utter garbage.

Ive lived all around the world and this post office is the worst Ive seen by far, aloof, rude and incompetent. I guess when you have a guaranteed job for life you just stop trying.

Agree with previous reviewer. That guy is so rude one wonders who his supervisor is and why they are not doing their job and correcting the situation.
