Jon and his team were wonderful. We were first time homebuyers without a clue as to the process, despite the research you can do online. Jon was extremely responsive in setting up appointments and was flexible to our traveling (took us 1.5 hrs to get to town) and work schedules. He was up front about spending, about what we could get for our money, about how a home could work for us, and about the potential that some homes could have. He took everything we said into consideration, and was the most honest and easiest person to work with throughout the entire home buying process. I would buy every home in my lifetime through him if I could.

Jonathan Miller is exactly the Realtor we were hoping for. Extremely knowledgeable about the area, patient, enthusiastic yet honest, he showed us a varied array of houses and helped us figure out how to get the one we wanted. We lucked out with Jonathan Miller! He found us a house when there was almost no inventory to speak of, and he really paid attention to what was important to us. This man knows Beacon, and knows the community, so of course he knows whats coming up to be sold, and what the true value of properties are. In addition, he was patient with all of our first time home buyer questions, and very available for questions, viewings, and paperwork. He is the guy you want on your side. He also has a fantastic team supporting him at JonCar Realty.

The worst experience ever! Do not trust this realtor, we met them, Jon and Peggy and before listing the house they found a buyer. Then on the day of closing they overcharged us. Not to mention the lies, we had not sold a house before and we called them with questions, things like do the people buying the house want the light fixture in the bedroom, a $19 piece from Ikea, "no, dont worry about it." Then at the closing they advised the buyers that it was worth $250! The list goes on and on. Just DONT use them.

We recently sold our house and JonCar handled both us and the buyers. We were very unhappy with the service we recieved as Jon threatened to sue us and stop the sale on the eve of the closing if we didnt agree to his fee. In the course of threatening us , he also told us that he had been secretly recording our conversations. Dont be fooled by the folksy Joncar approach. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a broker in the hudson valley.
