Truly love this gym!! If your a female who like to workout for real and not afraid to sweat with weights, come here! I worked out with two male co workers for a year in this gym. I already had a Ballys total fitness membership but was always intimidated by free weights. This gym plus my partners got me extremly comfortable with hitting the heavy weights. This is the best shape Ive been in since college!! Now I go their by myself and love it!!!

If you want to work out hard, no BS no frills, then this is the place for you. if you like a gym that has a machine for every muscle in your body then this is the place for you. after the new managment this place has been under constant renovations. I like the new changes. this place definitly needed it. I come here to work out, not mingle. I like the hardcore look of the gym, the size of it, and the affordable price is a bonus.

Its spacious but it could be bigger.... Plus the stretch room isnt as big as I need it. I miss my old, spacious gym. But this is the city, where space is limited! Perfect if you want to hit the weights hard though, like I do. I just wish we had space to do other things, too. A lot of broken equipment all the time. Owner is cheap. Also, Ive seen roaches in the lockers of the mens room so.... Yea.

Awesome machines (some of which I didnt even know existed) - Pristinely clean amenities (showers, bathroom, etc) - Attentive staff that knows your name (find that somewhere else) - Cheapest Gym in the area by a long shot. Open 24 hours. Love it. Check it out once, and youll definitely be there to stay.‎

The Powerhouse gym in Bronx location is now under a new management. It is a 24 hours gym. They have now aerobic classes. I get to do all my complete work for cardio and weight lifting. This is a great place for workout and the membership prices are great.

As a professional kick boxer, I enjoy the professional workout I get at this gym. The location is great, on my way to work and after work. The equipments are great and get the job done. Great place for socialize.

Great gym old school weight lifting gym. locker room and shower have been updated. And entrance appearance has been updated. Great atmosphere. Good job. $5 walk in cant beat that.

A REAL Hardcore gym! If you love free weights(dumbells range from 5lbs to 200lbs) and prefer a more traditional setting to work out in then this is the place for you.
