I visited this location in April 2017 using a trial membership. I have been a member of lucille roberts for years but due to their recent closings of so many facilities I have decided to look elsewhere. Although the facilities itself were great the downside for me was the customer service. On first sight I was ready to join because the facilities are really nice. But my interaction with the staff changed that quickly. While using a treadmill I was approached by someone who never identified themselves as a staff member. He began asking me how long I would be on the machine. I thought it was a odd question because the gym was not full and again I did not no this was a staff member. So I asked why he was asking this. At that point I was told that they were supposed to move the machine but that they would let me finish. Well - let me back track- he said that after I asked why was there was no sign on the machine because I didnt appreciate being interrupted. So I continue but sometime later Im approached by a woman who jumps up on the machine to inform me that I should move to another machine. I simply reply yes but finish my last 2 minutes. But before the 2 minutes could run out Im approached by another staff member who this time has a sign in his hand. At this point I let this staff member know that I thought the staff was rude and disrespectful. He simply shrugged off my comment and replied "but are u finish now". Strongly reconsidering joining that location and thankful I hadnt joined yet. The staff definitely needs training in customer service but Im not sure it would help because common courtesy simply takes a bit of common sense. Part of the staffs job is to make the gym run smoothly. It doesnt take a genius to know to put a sign letting people no not to use a particular machine. But whats even worse to me is that I was told I could finish but then be confronted repeatedly as if I did something wrong. The customer shouldnt have to tell the staff how to do there job!

This is a very small gym. The machines are a little odd (they move you as well as the weight stack) and there is only one real cable tower (which has been down for over a week, which is odd because they claim it takes only a few days to get someone in to service them) and when I started using the other cable tower (this one is too small to do and lat or pec isolation moves) I discovered that one was broken as well (the staff knew about the problem, but never put in a service order. Why?) and I was a little upset by that. There are people who like to run around the gym instead of using treadmills (which makes me a little nervous, again, this place is small) and it can be distracting while youre in the middle of a set. Another big strike against this gym is theres no glute isolation machine. Youre going to be doing donkey kicks on the Smith machine (something for the ladies to strongly consider) . They also have a policy where youre required to share machines while youre resting between sets. This means youre going to have your tempo screwed up by constantly wiping down a machine but it also means you can jump in with someone else regardless of whether or not they want you to (if youre like that. Personally, Im not, so in reality I get interrupted a lot while I remain polite and try not to jam other people up). This also kinda creates sticky situations with regards to supersets. Youll walk up to a free machine only to be informed by someone using another machine they they are using the free machine as well... This is a headache and a big source of potential strife in the gym. Parking is a nightmare here, if you drive. Youll be scouring for a spot if its any day other than Wednesday due to alternate side parking.

May 2017 I first got a free pass to try out the classes for this location in the beginning of May. Loved it so i decided to sign up at my home gym the The Hub. Before signing up i read up on the different types of membership option and i finally decided to go with peak membership. It offers entry to all essential locations in the US and the use of classes. I usually go to this gym on tuesday and thursdays because they offer 6am classes. Today, i entred the gym and while i was going to enter my phone number to get the ticket for the first and second class, i was approached by the gym manager rudely. She told me since this gym is not my home gym i wont be able to take the class unless i paid. After explaining that I traveled 4 miles eargerly to take these classes she finally let me take both classes. Ive never had an issue before today. I really felt like i never wanted to walk back into this gym after the rude encounter. Update 6/28/17 I decided to join this gym due to offering the 6am classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I must give credit to the instructor Belkis who is always on time and gives a great am workout. We need however more 6 am classes throughout the week, just saying. The three stars is because some employees do not greet you and because the weekend classes start a bit late. Would be great to have classes beginning at 8:00 am. Overall, I am happy with this gym. 7/7/17 Ive been attending the 900 am classes every saturday since june. I notice the instructor performs the same moves and does not seem that motivated to teach the class. I wish he would switch up the moves due to how our body adapts and wish the music was a little louder. I might stop going to this class due this.

Awesome gym. I am a personal trainer here at Crunch, and I dont like the gym because Im a trainer there... I became a trainer there because I fell in love with their gym. Crunch has a great variety of machines many of which have multiple functions, and they also have a lot of up-to-date equipment. Someone stated that there is no glutes isolation machine... however there are actually several machines that can be used to strengthen your glutes. There is also a series of charts on display for everyone by the personal training area that explain how to exercise the glutes, as well as charts that explain how to focus on other major muscles. You can also feel free to just ask a personal trainer if you see they are not in the middle of training a client (a client in the middle of a paid session is the trainers priority) any questions you have and we are always happy to assist. Also, when a machine becomes out of service it is attended to immediately. If its not fixed the same day (most times it is) it means that the problem is a bit more serious, and something needs to be ordered... in which case it is received within a day or two later at most, and it is fixed the same day the piece arrives. The owner takes a lot of pride in his gym and its presentation; he does not like to see things not working or damaged.
