I met Paul (owner) and Manny (project manager) from Franco Belli & Sons in November 2013, after 18 months of construction on our home in Queens. Our previous plumber had abandoned the job after continually asking for more money (outside of what we agreed to in our contract). Then a second plumber I hired refused to supersede the original plumber’s work which was substandard and unsafe. We were stuck without gas, without hot water and without a plumber who was willing to pull a permit and complete the job so we could move in. Paul and his entire workforce were incredible! They were competent, professional, and reliable – at all times. Paul personally dealt with the bureaucratic Dept. of Building (Plumbing Division) and facilitated with Con Edison so we could have our gas service restored. Paul’s crew worked tirelessly to correct multiple mistakes of the previous plumbers and to certify that all work done in my house was safe (think: leaky gas pipes). Also, Paul is capable to being reached via email and text message, which was very helpful when I couldn’t answer the phone during the work day. Manny is an excellent problem solver and will not leave until your job is complete! Paul provided us with detailed billing statements, showing the hour-by-hour tasks that his employees completed – there was no question as to overbilling or billing for work that wasn’t performed. I trusted him with keys to my home and to work when I was not present in the house. Franco Belli & Sons Plumbing are not the least expensive plumbers but they are the BEST plumbers you will find in NYC. Safe yourself time, energy, money and headaches by hiring them FIRST! I smelled gas outside my home and called National Grid. They responded and shut off the gas main coming into my home. I was informed that I was liable for the gas leak and I needed a licensed plumber. Im in the Gowanus/Park Slope South area. Every plumber I called gave me prices that were beyond insane. It seemed as though they knew I was in a predicament and with all the new (sure its old) money coming into the neighborhood the plumbers saw an opportunity to take advantage. I saw that Franco Belli was in the neighborhood in fact less than two blocks from my house. I called them and at once they were at my door. They began work the next day at 7:30AM. Their estimate was not only reasonable, but it was right on the dime. Now to restore the gas main National Grid had their want-to-be plumbers/muscle men come out and replace their gas leak pipes. In the midst of all their saw-sawing and banging the pipes another leak was mysteriously found and guess what once again I was liable. Thank God for Franco Belli, because once again they came over 7:30AM sharp and did an amazing job. Franco Belli is extremely busy doing very large permitted jobs, but they move jobs aside to make my gas leak a priority without over charging me. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a home! I love these guys

We had a leaking sprout and a clogged drain in the bathroom and called Francesco Belli Plumbing after doing some research online. They were able to come the day after, OK, not exactly on time, but they made up for that with their excellent customer service. They fixed the clogged drain right away for no extra charge and ordered a new sprout. Since it was going to take a few days before the sprout was going to arrive, Danni and the Vice President of the company, Paul, came over on a Saturday to install a temporarily sprout. A few days later, the sprout arrived and one of their plumbers, Manny, installed the new sprout. He did a great job, even offered some advice on what kind of brands are more durable (Delta what we have doesnt belong in that category) and cleaned up after he was done. To summarize: they are reliable, friendly, have an eye for perfection and understand what customer service is about. We definitely would call them again.

This company saved my birthday weekend. My boiler decided kept going off during one of the coldest weeks recorded in New York. My uncle recommended Franco Belli and gave me their number. I called them on a Saturday and they sent a guy WITHIN 2 HOURS. The guys name was Emil and he was very friendly and was able to fix the problem right away. He gave me a nice explanation on the problem (had to do with the thermo-sensor) and told me what I could do next time to fix it myself. The honesty was definitely appreciated and earned my trust and business from that point on. Thank you!!

When I got home from work I was surprised to find my basement flooded. My usual handyman was away on vacation so I needed to find someone else. After looking online for a Brooklyn plumber I called Franco Belli and was very happy to speak with one of their reps. They ensured me that they could handle this issue and told me to relax. They were there in about 90 minutes and fixed the issue and even helped me move around some of the furniture downstairs so I can get my life back in order. If you want the job done right you got to Franco Belli. Manny and Emil are knowledgeable plumbers who saved my house. My husband and I bought a 1920s townhouse earlier this year. Because the pipes and drains were so old, my sewage drain was clogged and my toilet started bubbling up and overflowing. Franco Belli was there to help save the day. Franco Belli & Sons Plumbing and Heating recently replaced my oil-fired boiler with a gas fired boiler. I dealt with Paul Belli. He gave me an itemized written quote for the job. He also arranged for the rebate on the boiler from the gas company which saved me a thousand dollars. The crew was courteous and efficient, and the manager returned to check the system and explain basic maintenance. The job also included a new digital thermostat. Im happy with the system and the work. These guys are Brooklyn classics, and the real deal.

Thank heavens that these guys are local. Since I am in an old apartment I feel as though I have Franco Belli on speed dial. There are constant issues with leaks in my old dingy building. However Franco Belli always comes to my rescue. I have had some serious emergency issues but they are always remedied before any major damage happens. They always answer my calls and they come when they say. Totally happen to have Franco Belli as my plumber of choice!

Called Franco Belli early in the morning because my Moms hot water heater was leaking. I talked to Paul and he sent a plumber named Emil there and 2 houra later it was replaced! I couldnt believe how quick and professional these people were and their prices were more than fair. I would definately recommend this company for anyone who needs service work in the future !! Thank you Paul and Emil !! I will absolutely call your company again !
