We used Cook Moving through our relocation from OH to FL. Sharon M. (in the Buffalo office) was our moving coordinator and was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process! She coordinated a man from the Columbus office to come to our home and evaluate all of our belongings. Several weeks later, she sent three men to box up all of our items one day and to load them into the truck the next. They certainly packed with a lot of padding to ensure a safe and protected delivery. With the distance of our move and it happening during one of the busiest times of the year, we were delayed with our delivery. We were about two weeks without our things, but Sharon was in constant contact with us. We were encouraging each other!! She found a wonderful driver to deliver our items to FL and had a total of three men to unload the truck. They were all very careful to not bump the freshly painted walls or dirty the freshly cleaned carpets! They were great! At one point, we had the delivery scheduled for Saturday with the threat of a hurricane arriving on Sunday! Thank goodness the delivery of our items arrived safe and sound and the movers were out before the hurricane and the hurricane was diverted! It was a successful weekend!! Thank you, Sharon for all your help during our relocation. We really appreciate all your communication and help throughout the entire process!

Stay away from this people. This company was raccomended by a friend.. big mistake ever. The estimate was almost 20 % less then the real amount we had to pay after the move was done. We didnt add any extra item but the weight was very very under estimated during the walk in Thomas , the sales person, did. A dishonest way to get the business indeed.The day after the move I had physicallly walk into his office to get an explanation... he was deniying himself on the phone and no call back received after several emails. He was still arguing that we added extra items... not true indeed. On top of that it tooks for them a week to confirm a delivery date since we had to make arrangements with the new management... we almost lost every delivery window left and we were forced to accept the very last one, definitely not convenient for us. Of course Thomas before promised us the delivery on the date we requested.. As somebody else wrote in other reviews.. ripoff artists.

Awful experience...strongly do NOT recommend. This company lost 5 of our boxes and would not reimburse us for any of the items lost- they admitted that it was possible they may have brought the boxes to another clients storage place by accident but because we had the minimal insurance they would only remiburse us 6 (six) dollars / box. We thought this was a joke. They also had underaged kids moving our boxes (12 year old boys who were repaying a "debt" to the head mover). Very unprofessional operation. And the most frustrating part of all of this was once we finally got the owner of the company on the phone, all of our complaints fell on deaf ears. You would be better off going with another company

Could not have been more pleased! VERY professional. Office staff extremely helpful up front with coordination of timing, estimates, etc. Estimate was within an hour (less, actually) of the final cost. Movers showed up on time, were extremely efficient, pleasant, courteous, expert, and professional. We were moving half our stuff into a storage facility, half into a small apartment, so it was a complicated procedure... all went smoothly, quickly, and with fewer hitches than I thought (they even magically got a LARGE armoire up a pair of tricky Victorian stairs). Very happy with the service, and would recommend without hesitation.

Worst company for moving. They are unreliable and not trustworthy. I had a move that they completely botched. Late to show up. They promise the world but once you sign that contract they dont care about customer needs. What really is amazing was they never apologized at all. They contract through catholic health and for any physician looking to move, avoid this company at all cost!

The movers themselves did a great job packing and moving. Cook and United charged over 20% more than my original estimate. They did an estimate at the house, came out and increased it 10% on the day that my things were being packed, and then followed up after the move and charged an additional 10%. If you go with Cook, be prepared for a 20% increase before all is said and done!

Horrific customer service beginning with a truck that broke down. They collect the money up front and do not track shipments. When we called to ask where the status of our shipment to Texas, we were told that they did not know and that June was their busiest month. Its all about Cook Moving and NOTHING ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. Use as a last resort - you have been warned!!!

Superb moving and storage company for businesses in NY state. Highly recommended for anyone concerned about quality and great customer service. I shopped around for months before selecting a mover and storage facility, and Im happy I did the research and choose cook moving systems/mayflower for my companies moving and storage needs.

Very quick service. But they bid my move at one price but the price increased once the move was finished even though the weight was less than estimated. After the move they ignored my phone calls and acted like I did not exist. The movers and truck driver were very nice but the office folks are rip-off artists.

i had an excellent experience and would recommend cook moving to everyone. first of all they arrived exactly on time and were very friendly. they also layed down plenty of carpet so they didnt leave footprints on my new rug and worked very fast to get the job done. pricing was reasonable too.

Loading and packing was excellent but while unloading one of the table (TV) leg was broken and delivery people even care or told about this until they got signed off all the documents from me..That was not at all professional. I will give a 3.5 stars
