On Friday night, without any warning, the water suddenly stopped flowing from every faucet in my home. At 6am on Saturday morning I called T Webber expecting to leave a vmail message - however, much to my surprise, someone answered and took my info saying that someone from the office closest to my home would call me within the hour. Within 10 minutes of my hanging up the phone, Danielle from the Cold Spring office called my home, took my info and told me that someone would be at my home between 8:30-9:00am. At around 9am, Gary came to my house did about a half hours worth of trouble shooting and discovered that unfortunately I needed a new well pump. He explained the different pricing options and we agreed on a plan. Gary told me that he needed to go back to the shop to get the supplies needed and a helper and that hed be back soon. In about an hour Gary returned and proceeded to work without stopping throughout the afternoon with another man (Nick) from T Webber assisting him. Before 5pm that same day, Gary and Nick had pulled 580 feet of pipe out of my well, pulled out the old pump, replaced it with a new pump and had the whole thing fixed. Gary took out the time to let us know that he had to chlorinate the well so wed be smelling water in the water for a day or two, cautioned me about doing dark colored laundry, etc... etc... taking the time to answer any and all questions that I had. In addition, Gary and Danielle assisted me with the whole process of working with my home owners insurance carrier to process the paperwork associated with what they had determined was most likely a lightening strike that had caused the damage to the well pump. In summary, T Webber was amazingly responsive to my lack of water problem. They had someone on call and available to speak with me very early on a Saturday morning - had someone at my house before 9:30am in the morning - and had a very big job completed before 5pm that same day. Oh and one more thing - the well is located amongst a variety of plants in my front yard - right next to a Koi pond - and even though Gary warned me that a few of the plants might get a bit damaged - NOT ONE OF THEM was harmed in any way. In fact, when they left, you couldnt even tell that theyd been there at all! I was utterly amazed by the level of support that T Webber gave me this past weekend. I simply could not have asked for better service, could not have been happier with their work, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in a similar situation. One last comment - last summer my Central Air broke down and they came and fixed that within hours of my placing a call - and did an equally good job on that as well. But being without AC is far easier to deal with than being without water - so my gratitude for getting my water back on within 24 hours of its going out was simply a blessing! I am a very big fan of T Webber! Elaine in Garrison

In the service/repair industry, theres an inherent risk you take when choosing a company youve never dealt with before. Unfortunately there are a lot of people out there who will try and take advantage of your lack of knowledge on a subject or your "desperation" to get something fixed. Such is the case with T. Weber. When you think of companies that pray on the weak customer, think of them. Now for a quick background... the central AC condenser stopped working during a 95 degree day (well of course its not going to stop working on a 75 degree day...) so I did some quick research and this company came highly reviewed. I gave them a call and reached a secretary. She took down my information and sent it along to someone else. To their credit, when I received a call from a dispatcher, they ruled out sending someone on a emergency visit in order to save me from wasting money (it would be late and not much could be accomplished). They proceeded to work with me on setting up an appointment for the next day between 4-6pm. I was able to get home at 4, and the technician showed up promptly at 6:45. The tech took apart the unit and evaluated it "thoroughly." He advised me that my fan motor was broken and would need replacing. Seemed legit to me. He then proceeded to quote me at a price of over $1,000 (including a $125 fee to show up and diagnose the problem). Something did not feel right but I agreed to proceed. They attempted to take a deposit from me, but I declined on the basis that if they couldnt find my part, it would be a waste. A quick search of my motor model yielded hits from the original manufacturing company for a new model at $199 (not the exact one, but as per the company this was the compatible version). As soon as I saw that I couldnt believe that the markup on a labor would be 5x the product cost I decided to call another company that a co-worker had recommended to me. The technician showed up the same day and when he took the unit apart he tested the motor (that T Webber claimed was broken) and it worked perfectly. He was able to determine that the fan blade had shifted slightly and just needed to be re-adjusted. NOTHING more. Once he did that, the AC kicked on and worked perfectly. My only charge? Just the price to get him out (less than T webbers diagnosis fee). I feel completely distrustful of T. Webber and will no longer do any business with them and caution any one that may want to use their services. For your own sake, do your homework and have multiple companies assess a problem prior to settling on one. I hate to use the term "crooks," but that is the only thing that comes to mind with these guys...

I emailed T Webber about getting an estimate to have some plumbing roughed in for a master bath conversion. They called me promplty the next morning to schedule an appointment to come out and look at the job. I scheduled it for the next Monday morning between 8-12. They called me that Saturday also to confirm the appointment. Great ! Thats where things went down hill. That Monday morning I waited for my appointment and nobody showed or called to say they would be delayed. I called them at about 12:15, the dispatch said she did not know what happened but she would check. She says the technician was delayed and he should be on his way now. I asked how long she thought because I had some errands to run. She put me back on hold to check on how long. When she came back on the phone she said to just go out and they would call me once the technician was on his way.I guess he was not in route. Ok fine. I head out to do my errands and get a call 30 mins later he is on his way. So I hurried back home to meet him. The technician showed up and informs me he is just there to apologize on behalf of the company for the missed appointment and that he only handles bathroom remodels and water softeners. He was very friendly, but what a waste of time. He said heads would roll for the mix up and he would make sure someone got there next Monday as promised. So once again I head back out to finish my errands only to get another call 45 mins later they are sending the manager over and can I be there. Why not? I already wasted my entire day. I go back home meet the manager he spends his time looking at the job and taking pics. Before he left I asked him for an approx rough estimate for the job and time frame. He told me roughly 7-8k and week to complete. He promised I would have an estimate in writing by that Fri or Sat. Well 2 weeks passed and nothing, not a call, email or something in the mail. So I figured l would email him to follow up. A week later and still no response back. You would think I was asking them for a favor. I have since decided to go with another plumber who actually quoted me $3500 for the same job and about 2-3 days to complete the job.
