This Firestone location serviced us since when we moved from Massapequa in 2013 and the difference from location to location was huge. The Staff in this Coram location was just night & day compared to other locations that Ill reframe to mention. The Gold Card Member was always noted in my account from day # 1 so the expenses and service quality made the value of the Coram Firestone Complete Auto Care located at 264W Middle Country Road, NY 11727 Priceless. Im changing my review to 3 stars because Ive been sent so many incentives for the services I count on as we use this auto care service center like clockwork & when I had all my discounts together and needed an inspection sticker, breaks, break lights, oil changed & more they let me leave my car was on the lift & I walked a mile to get coffee & received a call after I was told theyd call me to come back because their was a huge problem with my engine & that I mysteriously had zero oil & was told I was burning black oil that was probably going to seize my cars engine. I asked okay what are you going to do then & I was handed my keys & the service manager said "Ive made the decision not to work on your vehicle & will not touch it because I dont want to be held responsible if something happens to your engine now that I see you have zero oil" this shocked me because I needed my inspection done & they only would put 1/12 oil in my car on top of what I was told was a serious problem & I should go to the dealership so I left went to another Firestone down the street & the manager on was shocked at what he saw & said whoever did this shouldve never allowed you to leave with no oil and he said something sounds fishy which I had felt. I feel that a mistake was made when I left & they werent sure if the mistake damaged my vehicle but after that I left with so much oil that when I went to Jiffy Lube the story / plot thickened like a novel. Turned out the old General store manager of that jiffy lube was fired for over promising and under delivering to almost all customers. Finding out he was fired & went to Firestone which was this turned into almost an unrealistic story as it was the same person I dealt with in Massapequa 5 years prior who I had a major problem with after he convinced me to pay $1600 to have my car fixed which I was going to have junked but was guaranteed that it was going to have 3 years minimum life left in my old car & the engine seized 2 weeks after the $1600 services were done & the decision I already made was changed by a supposed professional & ended up relocating to my new location I lived in & ended up at Jiffy lube before he was fired and went back to Firestone 45 again which I heard everything in detail from prior employees that they would tell people at Firestone to not even do an oil change but tell the customers they did it & this was common practice which is insane which Ive also got the same info from an employee from Massapequa that left to do sales in my business for a couple months & told me everything that they were doing that made him want to quit because he felt that he couldnt look at himself in the mirror ripping people off everyday. Little did I know my dialogue from all the years was in the Firestone database & used against me years later as an obvious malliscuous act of revenge which Jiffy Lube had 4 staff members do the work with me watching & they fixed my lights no problem but were all in shock when they saw that my oil was way over the full mark on top of what I was told was black burned oil that would probably seize my engine & cost me $9,000+ by Firestone. The engine is now purring & all the fixes were completed by professionals not at my family only place we used Firestone so I lost my Platinum discounts, mailed with my name advertising to me $50 off next service of $100 or more and other incentives. I hope this catches the attention of Firestones Corporate officers so this can be explained now that everything I was told is untrue & cost me time, money, stress, misleading diagnostics. I deserve an explanation.

This past Sunday,We brought my car into the Firestone in Coram. I needed at the very least a new tire and a new rim from a blow out we had the night before. Not only were they courteous, but they were genuinely informative and very helpful. Rob, suggested we bring it to the dealership to see if the tire was faulty. He also offered to keep the car in the garage until morning because the car was not safe to drive, due to a damaged rim on another tire. After speaking to the dealership and their interpretation of the situation, we went back to Firestone. The entire team was more than helpful and extremely thorough in their explanation of what was needed to be done. Unlike the dealership who charged us to tell us, what we already knew, and attempted to take full advantage by over estimating the goods and services. Again, Firestone worked with us, researched the best possible options for us regarding the prices and availability of all the products we needed. I happen to live 45 minutes away, yet if and when I need servicing again, you will be sure I will be bringing it to them. They are honest, reliable, and most importantly a pleasure to work with.

I thought I had a nail in my tire and after a few calls, these guys seemed like the place to go. I stopped at 4 on a saturday and was told they couldnt do it because they were closing soon, the sign said they were open until 6. I came back on sunday and explained it all again. After an hour, the counter guy tells me "theres nothing wrong with my front driver tire". I tell him "I know, I told you it was the front passenger tire". Then he says they cant fix it because "state law forbids them from repairing a tire with tread thats too low", but hed "gladly sell me 4 new tires". The next day my father-in-law took a look and was going to plug the hole when we realized it wasnt a nail after all, it was a roofing screw that looked like a nail and hadnt even punctured the tire. Thanks for wasting my time Firestone and you know where you can shove your 4 new tires. Ill gladly buy from anyone else at this point.

For about the last year my wife and I have been taking our cars here. Initially it was just because its conveniently located near our apartment, but now its for the excellent customer service, rapid service, and honesty. The people Ive talked with on the phone or at the front desk have always been friendly and helpful. Even for major repairs Ive almost always had my car back within the day. Also, as much as I can tell, theyve been honest. For example, I had a brake caliper that seized up. Typically its procedure to replace both left and right when a caliper goes bad, but they told me only one seized up and the other was operational. By only replacing one they saved me a significant amount of money while still warning me its recommended to replace both (if one went bad its likely the other is about to as well).
