PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE THINKING UPS AS A COMPANY DESERVES THIS 5 STAR RATING BECAUSE THEY DONT!!! The customer service center is fantastic....that is the location here in Farmingville. If I could split my rating into a 1 star and 5 star I would. These guys get the 5 because of how easy it has been to deal with them. They are always very helpful when Ive gone in there and seemed clueless! Now to the 1 star. This award goes to UPS GENERAL CUSTOMER SERVICE wherever theyre located. I called them today to ask if I could pick up a package before it went on the truck, or if I could meet the driver to intercept it. They said, "No problem, well have an agent call you in an hour with further instructions." I said, if it will be a problem just let the driver hold it on his truck. I dont want it to be stuck in UPS limbo land somewhere or not get it at all. She said, "No, this wont happen." Fast forward to the hour mark and I get a call from an agent saying I could pick my package up between 7-9 p.m. tonight at the Farmingville location. Seriously??? Why would I wait longer instead of just having the driver deliver it to me this afternoon! I swear people in customer service positions dont have common sense nor at times can they think outside the box and place their cue cards aside.

This is about UPS in general not this specific location.... UPS does not care about there customers I called the 800 number and was told 3 different things. since December they delayed a package that came 2 weeks later, lost a 2nd package and now a 3rd package has been delayed and its a perishable item...The first rep told me i can go to the Farmingville location and pick them up on Saturday the 2nd UPS rep told me i have to wait till Monday because the Farmingville location is closed on Saturday and then the UPS supervisor who already had an attitude because i wanted a supervisor told me that if they are no good to just through it out...REALLY and when i started telling him that I would tell people not to use UPS because all they do is lose and delay packages he proceed to tell me I am wrong and cant do anything about it he then hung up on me. I work for a company that does a lot of shipping and i would never treat my customers this way. I will never use UPS to ship again.

Last Christmas I sent a homemade gift out and had the insurance, was told that it would be absolutely covered. Package arrived with a broken gift and bent box and I went back to get my money back for the insurance and delivery and was told "Too bad, we wont give you back your money because it was homemade. How do we know it wasnt already broken?" Now I have just received a delivery notice (from something I ordered online being delivered by UPS) stating it was delivered to my address at 12:15pm yesterday and given to a man. I have been at my house yesterday until 1:30pm so I dont know where they think they delivered but it wasnt here. Literally the worst delivery company out there.

I receive shipments from everyone else except UPS. Four times now UPS says that a package was delivered but it was no where to be found. At one time they sent the driver over to my apartment to tell me he definitely left it in front of my door and then proceeded to knock on my neighbors doors. The last package that went missing even though they said it was dropped off was a small package the size of a wallet that should have been put in my mail slot, but again nothing. If you have a choice do not ship anything through ups unless it requires a signature. If you dont have a choice send or receive it at a store.

This office is terrible. I had a major issue with the driver Chris & manager Laurie. He said he came at 8:30pm (who comes this late) then never left my packages from Amazon, saying he made an attempt. I was home never a knock, note nothing. He claims the gate was closed disregarding my notes. Day before I got my boxes delivered. Chris the driver is a liar, lazy & Laurie the manager pulled the 2 boxes & sent them to a drop off bin not a UPS store. Just awful & no disregard for the customer. I will no longer use UPS & if the online stores use them they lost my business!!!

customer service representatives are rude and dismissive with no patience.. My package got dropped off at the wrong location and the box was all dirty and cut up. I wish more companies used FedEx than UPS! My packages also get delayed constantly, which is kinda frustrating after the first few times. The representatives can never answer any questions. I dont understand why they cant give like a 3 hour delivery window, instead i get "it will be delivered by the end of the day", like that is a ridiculous gap..

RETAILER SHIPPED PACKAGE TO ME TO ARRIVE ON MONDAY DECEMBER 15. AS OF TODAY, UPS HAS A TRACKING NUMBER FOR THIS SHIPMENT, BUT CLAIMS THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED OR ENTERED IT INTO THEIR SYSTEM. SOMETHING IS DIFFERENTLY WRONG WITH UPS OR THIS FACILITY BECAUSE I ORDERED THIS GIFT THROUGH AMAZON PRIME ON DECEMBER 04. LOOKS LIKE MY NEPHEWS CHRISTMAS IS GOING TO BE RUINED BECAUSE OF SOMEONE NOT DOING THEIR JOB.

Only giving 1 start because I wont let me give none. Marked my packages as delivered and didnt deliver them all. Every time I call they each say something different and the supervisor told me Im being mean to her because Im annoyed. Lol this is why your store has such a low rating sweetheart, absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. From here on out, FEDEX will have all my business. THANK YOU FOR NOTHING

This has got to be The Worst branch on Long Island!! 8yrs ago something got stolen off my front steps and the driver blamed my kids so I told him a few things...now since then he wont deliver my packages and says He feels unsafe...hahahaha Im 53" 125lbs hes just playing games!! and Tracey his supposed supervisor wont do anything about it They all stick together!! NEVER USE UPS from now on FED EX!!!

Always a pleasure! As someone who ships business packages several times per month, I always use the Farmingville walk-in location. Every employee there has always been very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I had previously been using a UPS Store location but discovered they charge much more for UPS shipments (sometimes nearly double!) than just going directly to UPS. Very happy I switched!

Driver did not knock or anything and also just slapped a failed to deliver notice on my door. I told the customer service about this and she insisted that they knocked. I even told them serveral people have complained about this and she replied "people always complain and I tell them the same thing- the driver knocks and wants to rid of the package" Um... I know my ears are working properly

While customer service was very nice and understanding, apparently the drivers are as dumb as rocks..... when a delivery address has the words HOSPITAL in it... would you even think to not deliver it and note on the account that they are CLOSED..... In case you are not from this planet, Hospitals do not close.... Very disappointing....
