Although I wanted to rate Push 5 stars, I cant. Ive been a member since May of 2012 and overall have had a generally good experience here. The gym has more than enough weights available, a large variety of machines and equipment, members rerack their weights 95% of the time, members are respectful, and it is clean. Thats more than you can ask for considering other gyms are usually lacking one of those. Let me emphasize that the reracking of weights in this gym is phenomenal. Push, keep it up and continue enforcing reracking. I rarely come across a barbell or machine with weight still added. I can say that I joined Push as a complete noob, but the gym has ingrained proper gym etiquette in me. It is a bit on the fancier side, which I dont necessarily care for. This may be a plus for some people. Im assuming its due to the fact that the gym is marketing to a specific crowd. Definitely a bit overpriced in my opinion. However, I do think that it is a pleasant environment to train in and have no complaints there. I enjoy their juice bar as well. I very, very rarely buy shakes from them, as they are too expensive in my opinion. But they do make a wide array of kickass shakes. The gym only having two squat racks gets to me though. Most of the time, its not a problem. But if you go during the gyms busiest hours (5pm-8pm), forget about it. You may be waiting for 30 minutes. Considering its the only place where you can deadlift in the gym, two is certainly not enough. I know that Im not the only one who has complained about this, so the Push staff should listen to their members. Instead of adding more machines, I believe that another squat rack would be a great and worthwile addition. Also, the "no supersetting" rule is ridiculous. Although Ive never been bothered while supersetting, I dont see the reason why supersetting is a problem as long as you are mindful and considerate. Meaning, use good judgement and/or let people work in with you. I personally dont agree with the rule altogether, as supersetting is a staple of effective weight training. Therefore, you can be inhibiting ones training and progress by not allowing it. The line separating Push from a gym like Planet Fitness certainly got thinner. There is one negative experience that Ive had in this gym that sticks out to me. It was when I went to the front counter for maybe the 5th time over the course of the month to ask when the broken dip belt would be replaced. I was either completely brushed off or the staff didnt really acknowledge me, simply gaving me an "Oh, I dont know. Sorry" If I were to work here, I would ensure that every members complaints and thoughts were made known and tended to. That should be a must whenever you provide customer service. Ultimately, the gym is what you make of it. Can you reach your fitness goals here? Certainly. Theres no reason why you couldnt. For the average person who is serious about trying to become a fitter and stronger version of yourself, I highly recommend this gym. It is far from a hardcore, strength training gym with prowlers, atlas rocks, chains, and such equipment. It is also far from a Crossfit-esque gym as well. I am satisfied with Push and will continue to be a member until 1)I move or 2)A gym emphasizing strength training and bodybuilding like the first one I mentioned above opens up in the area. All in all, Ive had no trouble making amazing progress while training at Push Fitness. You shouldnt either given you are training and eating correctly.

While I was an active member I really enjoyed these facilities. The facilities were nice and clean, the community was cool, altogether it was a good spot to use in getting yourself to where ever youre looking to be in terms of your own wellness. It was a bit on the steep side, but that was fine up until I needed to cancel my membership (after well over a year). Naturally they do what they can to keep you from canceling, once you do, be warned no matter how far in advance you cancel, you WILL get charged an additional month, no matter what. Its a part of their fine print, Ive cancelled my membership twice and this happened both times without fail. To be fair I wouldnt dock 4 stars just for that. The second time I cancelled, they didnt actually cancel my membership and nearly 1 year later I started getting charged again. They insisted I was still a member. I am not sure who was more sleazy in this kind of dealing, the gym or their payment service ABC Financial or what they refer to as "Membership services", each would direct me to other refusing to cancel what should never have existed. I threatened ABC Financial that Id start up a dispute with my credit card company if they wouldnt resolve this, they looked into it and said instead of canceling my membership, "all the months had been zerod out". I went ahead and started a dispute, despite not having been at the gym since 2015, they actually fought back against the credit card company and continued to charge me. Fortunately the credit card company took my side and everything seems to be settled now (1.5 months later), however, I can no longer recommend friends and family to PFs facilities. Its a damn shame because while I was an active member, I loved the gym (as did friends and family). If you all of the sudden fall on hard times, look forward to having to dish out an extra month, if not more. If youre a member I would rather find a way to freeze my account indefinitely (it was $10 to freeze) than deal with this nonsense. If youre not a member? Id avoid it altogether. Its just not worth the hassle down the line. At all. Whatsoever.

I have been with push fitness for two years now. It is a very well kept clean gym. They offer great classes, and they have great equipment! Now to be perfectly honest going to the gym for me is something that I struggle with. BUT when I found push fitness I found that I really enjoy going. Justin, who is head of the personal training set me up and got me started with a trainer. Now to warn everyone about JUSTIN he at first you can find intimidating but he is really so fun and nice and if you ever have any sort of problem you go to him and his there to take care of the situation. Also if you are set up with a trainer that is not good for you just go tell Justin and in no time you will have another trainer! Another person that works there is TONY. One time he saw me upset and he came over and spoke with me about the problem! I was in shock I could not believe that the staff in push fitness really cares! Another thing that amazes me are the people behind the desk when you walk in. they always say a nice hello and when you leave they say "have a good day"! I workout with ILY and MATT who are both personal trainers at the gym. They both are great! they make the workouts a challenge for me but at the same time make it fun! they really know how to PUSH you to the best workout you can have! the other people who work out at the gym I dont know all but the ones that I know are so friendly and makes it a pleasure to work out at a gym that has phenomenal staff and great and friendly people that come! BTW, on a side note the people who has posted badly yes mistakes happen and it has happened to me like over charging a credit but I went right to Justin and that day it was taken care of!! mistakes can happen anywhere!! this is a great gym and so much fun!
