absolutely horrendous!!!!! First off the back i use to work at 24 hour fitness about a year ago, so ive gotten a 3 day guest pass at the Valleystream location with no problem, they were actually excited and welcoming. so, i reached the Little Neck location with a 3 day pass already verified online so i just went straight to the kiosk to sign in. I was suddenly stopped by a staff member *who later indicated he was the sales manager* with complete attitude. Without giving me a chance to explain myself, Eric *sales manager* with hand movements and all telling me i cant ever work out at 24 hour fitness as a guest and that i cant use the pass anymore that i need to pay a fee next time. After i had asked for the General Manager he then allowed me to go in for the day. cool. very well. after i was walking away i already heard him talking about me with an associate. locker room, horrible work out stations, horrible the seats, smelled like FECES!!! the showers in the locker room had no shower curtains. 25% of the machines, broken. all in all i wouldnt even give this place 1 star. i would not recommend it to anyone

Pros Ill grudgingly give it two stars, because just about any type of equipment youll need to get in a good workout is there Cons 1. Free weights are never racked, or placed in any kind of order. This is true even if you get to the gym upon its opening. 2. Some of the lockers are in disrepair, and rendered unusable. 3. The soap dispensers are often empty. Again, this is the case even first thing in the morning. 4. This gym is not 24 hours because of a local law that dictates that they close at 11pm. However, if thats the case, why not stay open until 11pm? Conclusion This is a gym with potential, but mismanagement, and a lack of attention to detail, or even apathy towards detail, means this particular gym falls far short of that potential.

This gym falsely advertises the business hours of their gym by naming it the "24 hour fitness". It is not open 24 hours at all. In fact on Sundays, it opens at 8am and closes at 6pm. On the other side of the coin, gym is filled with people (mainly elderly) who rests 10 minutes between sets. They dont have the rope for the triceps pulldown (seriously...? What gym doesnt have this). Dumbells are never in place, lacks equipments and is crowded at most times. Also compared to gyms like planet fitness, this gym is rather expensive. In short, I would not recommend signing up for this gym and I plan to discontinue mine. Oh but the staff members are super duper nice. Always smiles.

Ive been going here since it was Bally Total Fitness. Honestly, its not the greatest and cleanest gym with all the latest bells and whistles. It simply gets the job done. Its two floors, with all the weight machines and cardio machines on the ground floor and free weights in the basement. The gym gets quite crowded in the early evening. Free parking is available for 2 hours. The name 24 Hour Fitness is quite misleading because the gym closes at 10:30pm (M-Th), 10pm(Fr), 8pm(Sat), and 6pm(Sun). If I were not grandfathered into the Ballys payment system, I would probably not be attending this gym but its served me well.

BEWARE SCAM!!! Worst experience Ive ever had in my life. Facilities in Gym are the worst. Limited area and equipment (Mostly broken but not fix) Free weights that never been re rack. Locker room stinks as always. Please think twice before you sign up, you will get charge $50 annual fee at the 3rd month after you signed up. Doesnt matter which plan are you going for.(commit or non commit) they will still charge you and non refundable. The representative will let you sign the contract without showing you whats about (you might be signing your life away) and they will not mention any hidden fee to you.

Only reason I give this 24 two stars is because Ive never been to a 24 hour fitness as bad as this one. Yes staff is nice but its brutally apparent that this gym is NEVER cleaned and I have never seen all the weights racked not to mention in any sort of order. And if they arent going to be open 24 hours a day, youd think theyd clean up a little. Every other 24 Ive been to before moving to New York makes this one look like a dump. And those 24s were open 24 hours so I think its safe to say this club is under piss poor management.

Very bad experience. I needed a two month membership, and the sales rep was quick to sell me a 2 month membership without telling me of any hidden fees and extra charges. I got charged for an extra 3 months as well as a $50 annual fee they dont even tell you about. After 2 weeks of constant back and fourth with the operations manager I was able to get only one month refund back. On top of that, the reason I got a so called two month membership there was because of their sauna. It didnt even work half the time.

24 hour fitness is known as a solid gym and the ones in Cali are big with plenty of squat racks and space. However Im visiting NY and when I came here I went downstairs to the free weight room and I noticed how small it was. It was sag and I couldnt believe it. Only two squat racks and no space or rubber plates if anyone likes doing deadlifts and dropping the bar. Only a few benches and the place was a mess. Totally unorganized and not maintained at all. I expect better out of 24

Same ol Ballys... Which for me is enough. None of the glitz and glamor of some of the newer clubs out there, this place hasnt changed much since I joined in 2004... The childcare room is gone, the retail store is now integrated with the front desk and no longer in a cage off to the side and theyve added some new equipment over the years but otherwise... Same ol Bally and thats good enough. Ill add a star when it has the hours its title suggests.

This gym is absoultely disgusting. From the second you walk in, it smells like garbage and dirty. Just check out the bathroom...... Also, all the machines are old, out of date, dont work and are grimy. I needed a shower the second I left. Its not worth the money. 99% of the clients were either Asian or elderly (not discriminating, just the facts).

Dirty, crowded, unprofessional workers. Been a member at the previous ballys, this company took over and it only got worse. There is no proper dumbells, locker rooms are not clean, machines are usually broken. Started going to planet fitness instead, most likely cancelling my membership here. Prices went up, quality went way down.

I tried to cancel about 4 times after moving and a "manager was never available to cancel me" since apparently none of the desk clerks know how to do such a thing. they kept charging my credit card they had on file and not cancelling my service after i had moved away!! would not suggest going to such an unorganized place.

I give this gym 2 stars because I think the staff should be a little more on top of things for example the plates, dumbbell, bars are never where they supposed to be theyre all over the gym in think if they fix this itll be a little better and open a little earlier on weekends will be nice
