DO NOT GO HERE!! I got an oil change yesterday and found out today that they pulled off the cover under my car while doing the oil change. Because they pulled off the cover, the bolts were missing and it was dragging on the street while I was driving. I called today and spoke to a mechanic named Gabby and he was rude and not helpful. I live in Glen Cove, Long island so it is about a 45 minute drive from my home to this place. There was no way I would be able to drive back my car with something dragging on the floor. So I asked them to come out to my house to fix this problem since I was not be able to drive back BUT THEY REFUSED COME. And kept telling me I had to bring my car in. I asked to speak to the manager and a man named Gabby told me that the manager was coming in tomorrow and not today. I told him to take down my number and to call his manager so I could speak to him directly but Gabby REFUSED saying that he was not authorized to do so and that I needed to call back tomorrow. I asked him what time the manager was coming in tomorrow and he said that he was not sure because "he comes in whenever he feels like" (his exact words). In the end, I told him that I was going to a mechanic near my house and was going to send them the bill since they did this to my car. Gabby said that they will not be able to pay for anything since they are not the ones servicing my car. So.....I asked him what I should do? He said to bring it in. WHICH MAKES NO SENSE SINCE I CANNOT DRIVE MY CAR AND GET ON THE HIGHWAY WITH SOMETHING DRAGGING ON THE FLOOR! I am beyond frustrated and so mad about the way they handled the situation. They are terrible people, do poor work and have the worst customer service. I would occasionally use their services if I was in the area but I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.

Do not come here if there are still other auto repair & tire shops out there. I am serious and I repeat: DO NOT COME HERE, unless you are having too good of a day and you want something bad happening to you to balance it. EVERYTHING here is overpriced. They charged me triple of what it was supposed to cost in other stores (I checked the price in 3 other stores around the neighborhood afterwards for the SAME service I received in this hole.). After I told them that they were rediculously over-charging me, the manager literally told me that he was not going to do anything for me and told me to leave. BTW the manager is a very cold, indifferent and irresponsible guy who clearly cares nothing about the business. Good luck with whoever it is that owns the store. A few of my family friends heard what I experienced and they said they had been there before and they never planned to go back again. All I could say at this point is that I wish I called my friends before I went there. They also own a car wash place, which is nowhere better than the repair. I have been there too. They made you wait for a long time before cleaning up your car. After the so-called "car wash", you are guaranteed to have leaves & dust left on the obvious surfaces. I spent less money somewhere else in Bayside for a much better experience. In a nutshell, when you drive down LIE (Hwy 495) and you exit at Utopia Parkway, you will see there signs with a big "Savvy" on it. Ignore them and go somewhere else to save yourself from a bad day.

Went there for regular oil change and tire rotation, I called before going there, the guy on the phone told me $30 after I gave him exact year/make/model. When I got there, he changed to $35. then at the end I was told the price is $43, he said because my car used different kind oil filter. Thats 43% increase over original quoted price! So whats the point for them to know exact my cars model/year/make before doing the job?? When I questioned the frontdesk guy, he said, "if you dont want, I can put the old filter back on..." Thats ridiculous, Im speechless. I dont mind paying extra, but why didnt he upfront about it?! Now I understood their business model, they give a competitive quote first to lure people in, then jack up price after taking your car apart. This garage is untrustworthy and dishonest! I actually need much bigger jobs on my car (change all struts and shocks, spark plugs and wires), but Ill never ever go back to this shop!

Came in to Savy today for a noise and I used to take my old truck here and was satisfied. Dropped off my new truck for the noise repair and Shak said I need 4 shocks. We agreed on the price and all was good. 6 hours later I get a call that there is a problem. It seems like I was quoted a price for the old truck not the new one. He never got out to look at my truck. They removed all my old shocks and placed ones not made for my truck year. The realized there was an issue after the front shocks would not line up. Are you kidding me!!! How can you order parts for a truck without looking at the year, make and model. Scary stuff but common sense does not work here.

Visited the Savvy Lube, and I am very pleased with the service. I accidentally put too much oil in the tank, so I brought the car here to have the oil drained and changed. They did a good job, and didnt try to oversell me, I thought I needed an engine flush, but was told that the engine flush wouldnt really do any good for my needs at the time. I appreciate them not taking advantage. I will always come back.

***DO NOT GO*** I have my car for 6years and i get a oil change every 3~4 month ALWAYS 60-70$. This place is way too shady, asked me for 100 for a regular oil change(just regular oil, not mobile one or any name branded oil). Most ridiculous part is they charged me for washer fluid too? Never seen that in my life before. The attitude at this place is just absolutely rude. They need to run outta bussiness.

Rip off. Pulled my car in to fix a flat tire. The mechanic came out and said there is no issue but went ahead to change the injector (thinking that could be the cause of the leak). Charged me $30! Thats the price they would charge to fix a real flat tire problem. Why charge full price when they arent sure if that is the cause of the problem? Again, rip off!

This is the second time Ive used Savvy. This is the second time I felt like I made the right decision for my car and have loved the experience. They are thorough, super friendly, explained everything, and found a "misdiagnosis" made by a previous mechanic. Not only did he complete the work in less time but he also saved me money.

I had a problem with my Jeep. It was very old and has some issues. They asked me to come to their shop and told me that they’ll first diagnose the issues. They found the problem and determined that I had been using the wrong gas and that my filter needed to be changed. Great service and friendly mechanics who knows their stuff!
