Went to this place 3 times while i went to school in the area (dont ask my why i went back the third time). The First time was just for a standard oil change and everything went smoothly, they tried the whole "Well looks like your gonna need a new battery and air-filter" to try and get more money out of me. The second time I went in i had to get my tires changed. During that process they managed to knock one of by ball bearings off and never mentioned anything about it, I asked them if there was a reason my car would be making a repetitive noise and they said it was because they had rotated my tires and it should be gone shortly. That was a complete lie. The third time I went back was to get my breaks fixed. Im no car expert so I went in and asked them to look at my breaks. They recommended that i have all 4 breaks replaced. After everything was paid for and settled i talked to my friends dad who knows cars well, he said that with the mileage i had there was no way my rear breaks would have needed replacing and its was debatable if the front breaks even needed it. Not to mentions that while my car was in the shop it had to stay over night because they managed to break a part while removing the front breaks. All in all they are incompetent and willing to rip you off if you dont know whats really going on. I suggest you go to any other place in the area. The manager Joe acts nice but really hes about to screw you over.

I cant really speak for their mechanical abilities, as I didnt have anything repaired; but I would NOT recommend going there for an inspection. I have a newer Toyota that I keep in reasonably well condition and I also have a decent knowledge of cars. I went there for an inspection and was very surprised when the mechanic came out and told me my car failed. He told me that there was a slit in part of my brake line and that I needed pads and rotors, both of which I know were untrue. He immediately got on the phone and started ordering parts before even asking me if I wanted to fix it! I told him that I just wanted to leave and to check me out at the register. He told me he had already removed my inspection sticker and I couldnt leave. I proceeded to watch him through the window to the shop as he left the office AND THEN removed my inspection sticker. I was very upset about being lied to and I feel as though the mechanic was just trying to generate some business. I took my car for inspection the next day to another station and it passed with no problem. I even asked them to check over my brakes and they said they were fine; that I wouldnt need pads for another couple months. For what it is worth, the cashier behind the counter was friendly and courteous to me, but I would not return there again!

If you know anything about Monro Muffler then you should already be aware that they are scumbags that are just trying to get more money from you any chance they can. Ive brought my vehicles here multiple times only because I lived next door so I could easily walk home. But every time I brought it they would tell me a list of things wrong that totaled up to more than $800 each time which was untrue as my car is a 2010 and nothing was every wrong with it and I hardly drove it living in a small town. They last straw for me was when they sold me 2 new tires that were $210 a piece and told me they were the best out there and they would last me for so long. However, 7000miles later they are completely shot. I should have done the research on them because now that I have it turns out that these tires are TERRIBLE and dangerous, not to mention completely overpriced. I figured working on vehicles that these people wouldnt let you leave with an unsafe vehicle but obviously they dont care about you or your safety only that they get as much money as possible.

If you enjoy being lied to, and you car coming out worse than it went in then this is your place. I took my girlfriends car into their shop on the promise that they could check for an evap leak and fix it as well. They smoked the lines, found the leak and proceeded to tell me that they had the part and it would be fixed by the end of the day. Come 5pm I call, and they tell me they couldnt get the part so obviously they will say anything to get your car into there shop for the business. Now I didnt pick it up from the shop. Big mistake on my part since now there is a 10" gouge that runs up the side of her leather steering wheel and they will not do anything about it since I cannot prove they did it. Bunch of tire and oil changers is all they are. Worthless human garbage

Never go to monro!! Went there for an oil change and they went poking around my car to find things I need fixed, they caused my old muffler that still had a little while left on it to to break from my car and now its hanging all the way to the ground and now I have no choice but to take it in some where to be replaced. They had no right to do that.

I have had several employees overcharge me for simple procedures. They dont even keep basic supplies in stock. They are very rude to the college students. This is not a reflection of other Monroe Muffler divisions, where I have had great service.

Ive been here a hundred times before and they never fail me. I came in today to get two tires, after searching everywhere else I could think of. They gave me the best deal out of all the tire places, got me right in and out. Super satisfied.
