I would give it a zero if it gave that option. My 2 year old was going to the kiddie cabin so I would work out for 45 minutes. They were constantly late and bombarded me because I called the front office about it. When we got home they took all my sons snacks and crumbling up everything into his backpack. My son who cannot begin to express how he feels cried and ran to me when I picked him up that day. He always didnt want to leave but that day he did! I called several times to get some answers with no luck. Also he was doing swim classes there and now has a skin disease from the dirty pool. Disgusting! When I called to complain and let them know how I felt I waited two months before getting in touch with someone. Never using the YMCA again!

Bad, bad environment. A vindictive woman who ran the gym area, Dottie, abruptly cancelled by comp. membership without warning or explanation. My late CPA Dad, as he did with many charitable organizations in Huntington, did their auditing, books etc. for free. She had a sad, dictatorial attitude as if she owned the place and paying customers were being done a big favor. She publicly humiliated me in front of others in a childish manner befitting someone with real problems. Whatever they were, it was a blessing to be away from an amateurish, otherwise expensive environment with poor hours.

In all fairness, the fitness room is clean, and theyre expanding. The locker rooms are nice. A few of the classes are decent. Alisons spin class is great! But the walkway between the two pools smells like a Petri dish! And the pools are poorly managed. One has four lanes, and the other one six. But they double the lane size, and usually only one pool is open at a time to far too many people. We gave up on swimming here. Fortunately, other YMCAs in the area have better aquatics managers! Ive only been to Huntington once since May.

Our organization, LI Ultimate, has been renting fields for our weeknight pickup games in the spring and fall for several years now and we are happy with the service here. I had a personal membership for a fee years and enjoyed the use of the gym and pool during that time. Fairly new equipment, but usually busy. Great place for family memberships.

Love the pool here but the set up of only 3 (double) size lanes is terrible. It does not afford people intermediate options. This would be much better it they used regular sized lanes and people could spread themselves out between a wider gradient of skill levels.

Excellent facilities, great staff. I re-joined after absence of 5 years. Expanded facilities are terrific. Our family is very happy with the Huntiington Y. Great improvement over the old Y, although the old Y was not bad at all. Keep up fantastic work!

We tried the YMCA daycamp for our 6 year old son. What a disappointment! Dont let the ratio quoted fool you, the counselors cant manage it. Im not sure if they are unmotivated or untrained. Look elsewhere for a quality camp, we are.

If you can get a better place to go dont doubt about it, even if it is further from home. I was attracted by the pool but is no good the pool area is horrible smelling! I was wonder how clean was the water!
