HELP! I have a meanager which makes me an automatic tech retard, my son LENT me his MacBook and was soon insulting me when things went awry..... I dont know what I did. Uh-oh.... he was getting loud. And angry. I was in trouble, and this laptop was slow and dying. Things went black. Im in Huntington and was still able to google - TotalTech Repair popped up. Ali answered, theres always someone to speak to there, even at inconvenient hours. Thank God because I only have problems at inconvenient hours. He is so nice, Ali, and very reasonable. He put a long script in pdf. for me w/o charging me. Who does that these days? Nobody, so he s my go-to guy now (he makes house-calls too which is big for me). He cleaned up, sped up, fixed up my kids Mac and delivered it back in 2 days. He explained what went wrong and why. Whos better than him? Nobody. So if you dont want to be lied to or ripped off call Ali at Total Tech - hes fast, reasonable, gives you extra things at no cost if he can - you wont be disappointed, I see why hes so well-reviewed by so many people online. I didnt know that when i first called. For me calling TotalTech was blind luck at that moment of frustration and trouble. And fear. I was going to lie to my kid and tell him I updated his Mac myself. I doubt he wouldve believed me even if he didnt catch Ali at the door. New icons, swankified everything, no stalling anything- my kid was impressed. Thats not easy .... Bottom line call this co., ask for Ali, Yes 5 stars,10,100.... Whatever it is you need fixed he can do it and for less than other "computer physicians". So this is my experience and recommendation following. GREAT! Thank you again for your help Ali!

I found Total Tech Repair through a simple local Google search. I called and they set up an appointment in two days (on a Sunday actually)! The service person who arrived was not the owner. The owner had a business situation that day. So, he sent one of his technicians named Shawn. We sat down for a few minutes to discuss the networking issue I had in my home. I then showed him the intricate router system I had which recently was not working properly. Being that I am a techie, I was able to explain the problem but not skilled enough to solve the problem. I walked with Shawn in my home while we troubleshooted the wireless issue. After doing speed checks, swapping the old router with a new one I bought from Apple, disconnecting some access points, we were able to find the problem. Shawn was very respectful and a good listener. He was able to talk to me in a manner that was technical in how my wireless system works, yet made it easy to understand. He made a recommendation to buy a 5 port adapter so I can move my AT&T Microcell next to my router so it was close to a window. That was a plus as that was not even the purpose of his visit. However, I now have a better cell phone coverage in my house by moving the router in addition to having my entire house having consistent and blazing fast wireless speed (in part due to buying Optimums most powerful data package). All in all I was very extremely happy with the service. Also, the service cost was consistent to what was quoted to me over the phone, so there were no surprises. I would highly recommend using this company for your computer and wireless issues. I know I certainly will.

Ali and his side kick were lovely when I hired them to set up my internet system initially and when they were collecting their money.! I thought I was a customer, and I was pleased with the interaction after the conclusion of our business transaction. I was taken back when I called them for support when my system had a problem. They took their time responding to me, about 6 hours passed before I was able to reach either of them, and once I spoke to Ali, he was impatient, insulting, and rude! I own my a business, and I would never be so unprofessional as they were to me! Providing service, with a smile, is the right thing, and the smart thing to do, for customers who have paid hundreds of dollars for their service , regardless if the follow up service has a fee, or not! I want to add more computer based services for my business and my home, but I will not be using Ali and Total Tech Repair! I really liked them and their service when I originally dealt with them and paid them. I was shocked by Alis dismiss and rude demeanor! Sadly it was offensive! I was surprised, and very disappointed!

My children bought me a new computer for Christmas. I was talking to a former co-worker and told her I needed, not only a computer servicer to set up my computer, but a service that will help me if there is a problem with my computer. Without even a hesitation she said, "Ali." I had worked with Ali a short time before I retired and did not know he offered this service. I called Ali and an appointment was set up. Ali installed my software and made sure my computer was working properly--and for a reasonable price. I recently had a problem with my computer. I called Ali; he responded quickly. Easy to talk to and so patient with me--problem was fixed. In the past I have used Best Buy. I had to drop my computer off at Best Buy and then pick up. I never had the same technician and no one in Best Buy could ever tell you what the problem was with you computer. Plus Best Buy was expensive. I like to get bang for my buck and with Ali it is exactly what you get. Ali is knowledgeable, professional, patient--I would never hesitate to recommend.
