Had the worst experience with my move this weekend. Not only were guys as slow as molasses, the guy in charge was rude and intimidating. I got dirty looks and glowering stares when I disagreed with him, it actually was starting to make me nervous. They spent a lot of time on their phones texting and when they got to my new house, they informed me that they were taking a break, off the clock, so I sat on the floor in my new house waiting for these guys to decide to come back to work for 15 minutes. And they broke my basement steps in my new house so now i have to pay someone to fix them, and didnt put either bed together correctly even after I asked them to fix one of them. To add insult to injury, they left all there empty drink containers and snack packages in my house, so I had to clean up after them. Very frustrating not stress free like they claim. At the end of all this, they hit me with a travel fee of one hour, $215, to go 1.2 miles. I will never use them again, and will make sure I spread the word about how horrible their service was. I had to give one star to post otherwise I would give no stars.

They work very slow because they get paid by the hour. They told us they would come with four guys and only showed up with three. I spoke with the management and they tried to tell me three is actually better than four. Think of how foolish that logic is when you need a minimum two people to move one piece of furniture. They also charge an hour for driving, even if you are only moving 10 minutes away. Make sure you have all your boxes and tape or you will be charged insane prices if they provide them. I would never use them again. There are plenty of other companies with more experience and professionalism.

Jake and Nick did an excellent job of removing our old furniture as well as flotsam and jetsam from a deceased relatives garage. I appreciate the communication with their office and with the workers themselves. On both occasions that Ive used their service, I was contacted several times by them to confirm date, time of arrival and location. Once they began the stowing and throwing into the truck, they were pleasant and efficient. I will definitely use their services in the future. Thanks, guys!

We moved from Islandia to Cedarhurst Village yesterday and hired College Hunks Moving and could not be happier. They sent 4 guys who were very professional and friendly and introduced themselves as soon as they got there. They definitely made the move very stress free. Our move was from a second story condo to a 4th floor walk up and these guys did it like it was nothing. By the time they left we felt like we were friends with them. We would use this company again.

Just had the best experience with the nicest guys. I had a storage unit that I needed moved to a POD at my house. It was tons of stuff. The two guys that came put everything in the truck and unloaded at my location. I felt so bad because it was so much stuff but the handled it without question. Such pleasant young guys.
