The previous tenants left the apartment trashed. Supposedly Lucente was going to "send in cleaning" afterwards to clean up their mess. I arrived on move in day and was told the apartment wasnt ready for another 8 hours. Even after all the extra "cleaning" the cabinets were covered in grease, there is mold growing in both sinks, the floors were dirty, just a huge mess. Every time Ive had to get something fixed, they show up unannounced and with no notice. If they show up. I shouldnt have to call 5 times to have a leak in the ceiling fixed. While the rental agents are friendly and accommodating, the company is NOT worth the hassle. The prices are high, the service sucks, they arent at all responsive or reliable, and they treat you like crap for mistakes that are THEIR fault (like losing your rent check then hitting you with a huge late fee). Even if I could live here rent free, I would never EVER rent from Lucente ever again. Avoid the ulcers and pick somewhere else.

*Laundry rooms were constantly dirty and they rarely emptied out the quarters from the dryers. It was impossible to get anyone to get out and empty it since only Mrs. Lucente would do it (if you cant your maintenance crew to do it what does that say about them?) *Neighbors were HORRIBLE and the staff did little about them except for "talk to them" and send a letter to the building. *NO PEACE OR QUALITY OF LIFE... because of neighbors. *SMALL. Even the 3 bedroom apartments are small. Way too small for a family. This place might be ideal for college students, but NOT FAMILIES. *High note is that they are relatively low prices compared to the area so it makes affordable living for families...... HOWEVER: *They could not lower the rent enough to make me go back there.

Lived in Sprucewood Apts. for 1 year. *Our dishwasher broke several times and Lucente kept replacing it with used, close to broken ones. *The buildings clothes dryer broke once every 2 weeks and Lucente said it was the tenants fault since someone was using it too much. They then just stopped fixing it. *Our furnace broke 3 times over the winter. *IN THE END THEY WILL FIND A WAY TO KEEP YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT. I was charged for replacement carpeting even though the carpet had stains on it when I moved in. The apartment themselves are a nice to look at, but for the high rents they are definately not worth it.

I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 years with Lucente. It was clean and everything was repainted before I moved in. Very reasonable price for the quality. Whenever I had any issue that required maintenance, help was quickly on the way. Even when it was in the middle of the night. The office staff were wonderful. Glad I found this place. Also wanted to add that I got my security deposit back in full. They send out the checks 45 days after move out.

We lived in a townhouse apartment managed by Lucente for 3 years, and had a good experience. They rarely ever bothered us, always gave 24 hours notice before entering (aside from maintenance, of course) and were always polite and responsive. The price was great, especially considering how expensive this area can be. I would recommend them.
