We just got the new heat pump system installed in August and the first night that the temperature dropped in the 30s--the system stopped working. We called Sobieski s hot line and a young man named Larry called us back in about 25 -30 minutes and advised that he was still working on getting someone to come and take a look at the unit or speak with us concerning the issue. True to his word, Larry called back and advised that someone would be calling to discuss the problem. Again true to his word, a service tech -Chris called and was extremly friendly on the phone and walked us through a few steps on the thermostate to see if it was something that could be done over the phone. Chris had us set the unit to emergency heat and advised that he would call back in 30 minutes to see if the unit would reset and true to his word, he called back and since the unit did not reset, he said he would be to our home at 3 p.m. For professionalism and promptness and job knowledge, Chris get a A++. Chris showed up at our home at 2:57 and went up to the attic where the unit was located and immediately saw what the problem was with the unit not resetting. What most impressed my husband was Chris knowlege of the system and again just how friendly he was even walking my husband through a few qucik steps about the heat pump since this is our first heat pump system! Way to go Chris Perry - you deserves recognition for a JOB WELL DONE!!! AGAIN THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could rate this company 0 stars, I would. I had no choice in using this company, as they are the sub-contractor on the new Ryan Home we built. The air conditioners they installed do not work properly. If I set the thermostat to 77 on our upstairs unit, the temperature will frequently climb to 82 or more. The unit simply will not cool to the set number, but it does run full stop attempting to, making our electric bills sky high while not providing sufficient cooling in return. Were paying for AC we arent getting, in other words. We contacted Sobieski numerous times. They first sent out an employee who was nice enough but did nothing to fix it. Then they started telling me, and Im NOT kidding, that I cant expect air conditioning to work on hot days. I was told that air conditioners are "not designed" to keep the thermostat number once the outside temperature climbs above 80. Having owned other houses in the past, I know this is a lie. The person who told me this lie was pretty high up in the company. My home was under warranty at that time, meaning I was not obligated to pay Sobieski for any repairs. I suspect thats why I got the run around. They wouldnt even agree to send someone out to check on the units after the first person. They just lied to me over and over on the phone. Now that the home is no longer under warranty, who wants to bet theyll fix my air conditioning for a couple grand? Greedy, ineffective, lying company. Avoid at all costs.

Donovan arrived and immediately introduced himself. Explained what he was planning to do and immediately went to work. When asked, he was willing and able to explain what he was doing and explained correct functionality. As a former Field Service professional, I was very impressed with his ability knowledge and his ability to fully explain what he was doing. He took his time to perform the service throughly and safely. I was very satisfied with Donovan and the service he performed. As for Sobieski Services, they have apparently changed their contracted service scheduling. In the past, I have been able to schedule my equipment preventive maintenance for first thing in the morning. I always scheduled my PMs for first thing, so the technician would arrive approximately 08:00 am. They would conduct the PM then I can get on with my day. Not any more. They only gave me the choice for morning, early or late. I waited at my house , received a call that my service person was on his way and would arrive at approximately 10:30. This was just an enormous waste of my morning, my time and not very respectful toward their contract customers. Less than thrilled with this change.

I was at the local Lowes and was asked by the Sobieski rep, who had a table set up, if I was interested in any services. I said yes, I needed radiant heat hooked up. I was given a May 6th 2017 10am appointment. I received a call a few days before to confirm. When the 6th came up, I called them at 11am to see where the rep was. The woman I spoke with said they must have had the date wrong even though she was able to tell me that they had called and confirmed for the 6th. So I rescheduled for May 13th 2017 at 10am. On May 13th, I receive a call stating that the rep would be unable to hook up to my radiant pipes. I said thats interesting because he doesnt even know what I have. He automatically assumed I didnt know what I was talking about. Then there was another excuse about how they cannot guarantee it, even though I was just looking for the boiler hookup. This is where I ended the call, I told the guy if you cannot even check out the job, then I dont need your service anyway, I will find some other company. What a bunch of Bullsh!t. they dont even look at it, but turn it down.. how does that kind of company stay in business? Ill make sure this review is posted on other sites.

I asked for support in finding out why my A/C wasnt working. Technician was supposed to show up between 2 and 6 pm on Friday. He showed up at 6:30 without a call to notify. He diagnosed my system by checking the external coil and performing a leak test where the line comes out of the main unit inside the house, and said it didnt look like it was leaking. I asked if the line could have a leak, he stated yes, and then said he could not check the lines do to a crawl space. He also stated it could be the internal coil on the inside unit, but I saw no inspection of this occur. He put 2.5 pounds of refridgerant and charged me nearly 400 dollars. I have been calling to speak with someone about the credibility of the inspection. 4 calls and 7 business days later, and no call back, and shockingly, my A/C unit which has never had an issue except for this leak, just failed again. I am very frustrated at the lack of service and sense of urgency from this company. I highly recommend you do not use them. I had to as the house I bought had the system installed 5 years ago, and it was still under warranty. I tried the right avenue for repair, but it feels like the wrong one.

A technician came to our home in March because the Norwitz tankless hot water installed by them in 2013 wasnt working properly. They diagnosed it as a malfunctioning valve and that the system was in need of a descaling. They were to order the valve and then call us to schedule coming back to replace and descale. They did a bypass in the meantime so we would have hot water. After not hearing anything more for over 2 weeks, we called and were told the technician would call us back. 2 more days and no call back, we called again. After 2 more days, we left a message for the service mgr to call us back. 10 days later, no call back from anyone. If they were unable to get the valve (weve talked to Norwitz ourselves and no problem getting the valve) or if there was some other problem, there is no excuse why Sobieski would not return our calls and explain why they were not doing what they told us they would do, especially on a product that they installed. We will never call them again for any type of service.
