Where do I even begin with this place ?!! Okay, a little background. I live in Washington, DC & totaled out my 2013 Chevy Malibu sometime in June 2016. Because Chevys are some of the best cars (my opinion) I was looking for one as my replacement. I came across Maguire Chevrolet Cadillac on Car Guru and was instantly drawn to them because the price and mileage of the interested vehicle was hands down unbeatable. I went to take a further look at the advertised pictures and thought "okay, this is to good to be true ... no way a car this clean with a mileage this low is this inexpensive - there has to be a catch". The next day I called & spoke with a sales rep, Kyle Kidney. Naturally I had concerns about Migure financing me due to my credit not being the best because of the hard inquiries accumulated from my prior dealer but Kyle ensured me that he would do all that was in his power to find a bank that was a good fit for me without adding to heavily to the other inquiries & he did just that!!! . Not only did he find a financing bank but he found one that offered a lower APR rate than what I had before. Because I was traveling from Washington DC to Ithaca, NY and didnt want any surprises as far as cosmetic or interior damage Kyle gladly and punctually sent me as many pictures as he could from his personal cellphone per my request. Once my family and I arrived to Ithaca the Migure family greeted not only myself but my family with so much warmth and enthusiasm , I was overly impressed. The transaction went smoothly and needless to say the car was everything the Migure Family advertised it to be. Whenever I become interested in purchasing a new vehicle I will DEFINITELY be returning to visit the Migure family. They are getting a 5 star rating from me 1. because I cant give one higher although I wish I could and 2. because they pride on being an honest and upfront company about all new and new used vehicles while being able to provide the carfax. Kyle made my experience effortless and well worth it and for that my family & I are extremely grateful. If your interested in checking them out PLEASE dont sell yourself short - DO IT! and be sure to ask for Kyle Kidney.

We drove 1.5 hours from Rochester to test drive one of the very few hybrid Silverado trucks available. If Maguires was a typical dealership, it would have been very difficult to get a good price, since they knew we drove all the way there. Even though it was clear to them that I would have gladly paid the Internet Price that I had my little printout of, they took another thousand dollars off that, without me even trying to negotiate. Since this was many thousands less than any other dealer I found in the last week, I didnt even have to try to get an even better price. There was some negotation with the extended warranty, which I didnt want, but it was clear that this was really important to them. So I ended up getting the warranty after they came down in price on that. I really wanted to get the truck that night so I didnt have drive another three hours, and they stayed 1.5 hours after closing to finish the paperwork and get me on the road. And then the most amazing thing is that my wife remembered long after the deal was made and we were almost ready to go that we had $2000 in GM points from our credit card. Even through the rule about the points is that you have to tell them *before* the deal starts, they said we can do that. Even though it made them stay even later, they processed that and lowered the price by another $2000 for us, when they could have said no because we didnt follow the rules. This dealership is a great place to buy a car. Yes, you still have to negotiate a little on the warranty, but youll have to do that at *any* dealership. However, the price was excellent, and the people there werent just acting friendly, they actually were.

Im not one to post online but I have never had such a poor experience at a car dealership, let alone a Cadillac dealership. Id rather not give them one star but to post this, I was forced to. The most upsetting thing was that when I finally agreed to a deal, I provided them with an allowance certificate with an authorization and pin number, which was a nontransferable certificate, and I was told that it was already included in their advertised price. Nowhere online or in my extensive conversations with the salesmen, was it ever disclosed that their advertised price reflected Cadillac cash allowances. They had every opportunity to tell me that. In fact, when I initially was at the dealership, I spoke about the allowance certificate, and they never indicated that any rebates or allowances were already calculated into their online price. In addition, the salesmen told my sister, who was also interested in a new Cadillac, that she may not be eligible for the same allowance because she did not receive the certificate in the mail. Buyer Beware!! This place is really into deceptive pricing. Also, they really need to work on training their people to be more professional and knowledgeable about their products. Ive noticed that any negative reviews online get a response from the dealer to call them, but theres no point because Ive spoken with the manager at length. It does no good and just leads to further frustration.

Im honestly not sure how this company is still in business. I recently purchased a 2016 Volt which is a fantastic car. The salesman I had, though, knew nothing about it, the leasing options, or how to be a nice guy. The car was not clean when I picked it up, I was not shown the cars features during delivery, and the salesman actually disappeared to talk to another customer during my delivery. To the companys credit, they did offer to make everything right. So I dropped it off to get the "showroom detail" that it should have had when I first took delivery, and have the software updated. Not only did they not detail the car (just ran it through the carwash and vacuumed it), they didnt update the software. Upon questioning them, they said they didnt know they had to, but if I left it another day, theyd update it. The update (I found out from another dealer) takes about 45 minutes; Maguire told me it would be at least six hours. Again the team, to their credit, did offer to try again, but at that point I gave up and went elsewhere. How many chances do you get? Im done with this place. As much as they say its not their MO, their tactic is to get your money then run with it. They tried to fix their mistakes, but why not just do it right the first time around?

My husband and I had the worst experience here today. We were working on our older vehicle in the morning and we were looking a little rough around the edges. After walking into the building and being ignored for 10+ minutes with a salesperson sitting less than 5 feet away, we were essentially made to feel like we couldnt afford anything they had. We explained that we would like to trade in an older vehicle and without even looking at the vehicle were told they would give us $100 for it. The salesperson changed their attitude when I explain that my other vehicle was a 2014 Dodge. All of sudden, we werent low class to them anymore. Then they wanted to talk numbers with us and offer $1000 for our old vehicle. At this point I was extremely angry and was not going to do any business with a place that has decided that how you look decides how much you can afford. This place is less than professional. I will never step foot into another Maguire, even for routine maintenance. I will go to Simmons Rockwell or another more reputable dealer than this.
