ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! To start, they under estimated our move by over $3,000!! The first truck was delayed by a week with mechanical issues and we couldnt get straight answers as to where our items were or when they would arrive. Finally, they moved our things to another truck. When the truck finally showed up in Michigan, it arrived at 7:30 at night and stayed until after 1am, because the driver didnt want to be delayed to his next stop. So obnoxious to have movers here into the early morning hours of the next day! Now, Im finding more and more things that are damaged and broken...clearly when they moved our items from one truck to the next they did so with little regard or care for our things. My kitchen table? Damaged. Chairs? Scratched. Wooden bench? Big gauge out of the top. Glasses? Multiple are broken. Ive moved a few times in the past several years and have had very little to no damage each time. Items that were otherwise pristine now look terrible. If you want a timely, reasonably priced move where your items are well cared for, then go somewhere else!

So disappointed to give these guys a bad review. I vetted several moving companies and was really impressed by their personable staff, but the entire process was a disaster. I had an in-home estimate (nicest guy came by to review my belongings...he gave me a conservateive quote, expecting actual price would be a few hundred dollars lower). On the day of the move, after packing the truck, they told me the price increased the by 30%...over $2,500! It was a total bait and switch. They damaged several things during the move. And the delivery process was a disaster...they gave me two hours notice and the man in charge of the delivery was intoxicated. Literally...he reeked of beer. His crew advised me that the person they delivered to before me had called the cops on him. Such a disappointing experience. Definitely dont use these guys.

First off, the movers themselves were courteous and professional; its the companys policies that I have an issue with. We needed to move our stuff to storage for about a week, then have it delivered to our new address. A man named Steve gave us an estimate for everything beforehand but the final bill turned to be about twice as much. I understand that estimates are just that: an expected cost that is not guaranteed. However, to have the estimates of both the initial move and the subsequent delivery so off the mark leads me to believe the company is actively providing a lower price to get the business before sticking you with a much higher bill. The only reason we chose them was because their estimate was much lower than that of two other competitors. Just goes to show, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I have used them twice in the last 2 years. The first was a local move which went very smoothly. The second time was a long distance move. Since I was happy with them on my last move I called them again. Their price for a direct long distance move was not much more than the big guys were for a traditional long distance move that could take up to 2 weeks. They picked up my stuff on time, packed as discussed, and were at my new residence on the day and time agreed upon. Everything arrived perfectly. The men were wonderful to work with. I recommend them 100%.

I have used The Moving Doctor on three different occasions to move my parents, most recently this past August. For each move they arrived on time and got right to work. Though the loading of items went extremely quickly, everything was packed or wrapped carefully. They even helped me pack some of the "leftovers" that I was going to go back for later! I am a very satisfied customer.

The company was recommended to us by a very satisfied couple. We have only done half the move because we have most of our household in storage. We too were very satisfied with the packing crew who were very careful and put us at ease as we watched them pack! Ty was great and helpful to us during a stressful time. These guys were awesome!! They arrived on time (actually a little early) and were quick, kind and efficient. They quickly loaded up the truck, making sure everything was wrapped in blankets or plastic. When they arrived at my new home, they quickly and efficiently unloaded the truck. I was amazed at how great they were. I would definitely recommend them.

I absolutely recommend Moving Dr. The guys were very efficient in every way.I moved from the basement of a house, to an apartment building and they really kept my entire move calm.My items was carefully delivered with no damages.The guys are very experience and I totally recommend this very affordable company.Its worth every $$$$.
