Carlos and Andre did such a great job! They called me 20 minutes before their arrival and were on time. They had all the equipment and everything they needed to move all my things and even take apart some furniture. They got all the boxes and furniture moved out of my one bedroom apartment in less than an hour. Carlos even figured out how to take apart my couch and did such a great job making sure none of the screws and parts got lost by taping them to the furniture pieces. I was moving into a storage unit, which ended up being smaller than I originally intended, but somehow Carlos and Andre made it fit into that tiny space. It was amazing! The whole move was done in two hours and they were both so friendly and hard working. I requested them for my next move out of storage. Definitely would hire them again!

wish i could give 0 the worst customer service ever, still waiting since june for them to reconcile serious irreparable damage to an expensive item. no response ever and customer service continually takes your information and tells you they will get back to you in 3 days. no management what so ever. I should have been cautious when just the booking process was disorganized and incorrect and after a "manager" came to asses my job the information was no where in any files so there was no quote or appointment and I had everything set to go for the date they said. Nightmare from go, and worst of all no one to take responsibility or call :( sad but very true

Overall, I was impressed. I called in the morning, 2 fellows arrived that very afternoon, climbed the stairs and took my old sofa away. I was told a price if it occupied less than 1/8th of the truck, which I assumed was the case because, after all, it was only one sofa. Nevertheless, I had no idea what size the truck was going to be. As it turns out it was a short bed and it cost me $50.00 more than Id expected for the service. They told me, had it been a love seat it would have been the lower price. Im awarding them 5 stars regardless because they came on the very same day I called and took a sofa I never could have removed on my own.

Paco and Danny were very careful with the furniture and very pleasant and professional. Rating is not 5 stars because scheduling was not great, they came about 3 Hours later than scheduled but at least they kept me updated about it. Also, necessary insurance papers were not already taken care of with condo building but they were calm and made the calls to get it in. despite these headaches, they are a pleasure to work with and I would use them again but with more planning time so I can be sure paperwork is in before job begins.

Have now used College Hunks for the two huge moves of my life, both into nyc for residency and then back out of NYC 4 years later for a new job. They are always professional, on time, and do really well with wrapping up your things to make sure nothing gets damaged. The "hunks" I had both times all had wonderful personalities and made the moving process a joy. Not only that, but the final cost was under the estimate both times which I found very surprising. Would highly recommend them if you want a stress-free move.

College Hunks great reviews are well-deserved! The professionalism of the two-man team, Paco and Hiram, and their prompt, careful, thorough, and conscientious hard work was SO impressive. They worked quickly but carefully, no scratches, no damage, not even the slightest touch or brush to any wall. And their courteous and positive, cheerful attitudes were remarkable, given some VERY heavy lifting up numerous flights of stairs and around tight corners. The whole experience was A PLEASURE!!

Ive had my share of experiences with movers and this by far was top 5. The guys was on time, quick and efficient. The hunks were Douglas who was the leader and process my transaction, explained everything and the other guys were Danny & Blendy. They were fast and thats what everyone wants when it comes to moving or hauling junk. I gave it a 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. But overall I was extremely happy with the service.

The truck came 4hrs after its scheduled time which was extremely inconvenient. Since they only called once, before the window, to let me know they were behind schedule I was forced to stay close to home so I would. Not miss them. When they got here the price was significantly higher than I had anticipated. The pricing online is a bit misleading. While they did move fast once here, the waiting and the pricing did not leave me feeling "stress-free".

Two friendly and professional young men arrived. They were efficient and very very very careful. Clearly knew what they were doing, I had complete confidence in their moving my moms heavy antique bureau downstairs. The house is an old farmhouse with tight spaces, they handled the situation easily. And they staged the job in a way to minimize my bill, which was very reasonable. I highly recommend them and will use them again to be sure.

The men had to remove junk from my grandmothers house and they were very reliable and respectful. They did not rush and were sure to ask if something was to be removed so there were no mistakes. We have had them twice so far clearing out my grandMothers preparing the house for sale. We will definitely call again when the house sells. The crew was on time and they were very hard workers ,they didnt stop until the job was done.

When you call College Hunks they ask you how can they help you to have a stress free day? They live up to that promise in spades. This is the second time Ive used them and I plan to use them for two more mini moves this month. They were professional, courteous, on time and made a very stressful time for us so much better. First time using College Hunks. I had a heavy piece of furniture moved from one floor to another. It was done so quickly I couldnt believe it. Then I had junk removed, all I did was point and it was gone. The 2 "hunks" that came were very professional and very concerned not to scratch my walls during the move. I would highly recommend the company and definitely would use their services again!

Terrible. Booked a donation pickup of large items on the day we were moving out. They never showed up. More than that, our calls to College Hunks after their pickup window had passed got an assurance that they would contact the dispatcher and the driver. No one ever called. I was offered a $25 gift certificate and a shrug. Go with someone else.
