WARNING - POTENTIAL LOSS OR THEFT! So I used Clancy for my move from NYC to Boston in May. I had packed most of the apartment myself except for my artwork because I wanted to make sure it was professionaly handled so it would survive the move. It should be noted at this point, that I dont really own a ton of valuable stuff - most of the furniture is IKEA or hand-me-down, the rest was just clothes and crappy kitchenware. The one thing that was both of some monetary value and of such a size that it could be missed, was a print that I had purchased for quite a bit of money (at least for me) a few years ago and had grown very attached to. I also alerted the movers to this pieces importance, hoping that they would use extra padding and wrapping to make sure it arrived safely. Everything made it up to Boston in one piece and according to the manifest all the picture boxes had been delivered. Unfortunately, I didnt see the print go into a box - these guys were nice and polite so I just trusted that it had made it in. When we finally got around to unpacking our pictures last week, everything was there... all the value-less family photographs, the cheap, ancient posters, the halfway decent cast-off painting my grandma had given us... the only thing missing was the one piece that had some actual value (which I had foolishly pointed out to the movers.) When alerted of this issue, Clancy customer service was very nice, but ineffectual. Instead of calling me back, they chose to email me (which given how upset I am about this, seems callous), to let me know that nothing had gone wrong on their end and that they werent responsible. I hate to imply that there was wrong-doing, its possible this was just an honest, unfortunate mistake. But whether through carelessness or malintent, one of my prized possessions is gone and anyone who thinks about using Clancy Moving in the future, should be aware of this incident and exercise the utmost caution.

Clancy Moving is the BEST Moving company around. My rental home was damaged in the recent hurricaine, I contacted Clancy Moving Systems. Someone came by and did the estimate on what it would cost to pack, store and then move my belongings to a new home. Reid was professional, answered any questions I had, and the quote was perfect. Jennifer called to schedule the movers. She emailed me the paperwork, which I signed and sent back. She confirmed the date, time and location for the movers. When the men came to pack, they were on time, professional and extremely quick. If I had done the packing myself, it would have taken me days!!! The men came back the next day, on time and loaded the truck to store at Clancy Warehouse. I know when it is delivered, everything will be great. Thank you to Reid, Jennifer, Owen and Michael. I know I am missing the names of the men who loaded the truck, but I wasnt there.... Thank you to you men too. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. They are reliable, trustworthy and extremely efficient. They also rent Pods so please use them if you are ever need a Pod or A GREAT MOVING COMPANY.

We used Clancy when we moved into our house 3 years ago from an apartment that was in a two-story walk-up. The day of the move, the crew arrived on time, worked quickly and did not damage anything. The way they loaded the truck just amazed us! Upon arriving at our new home they made sure to check with us on location of furniture and boxes (even if they werent labeled). When placing the heavy furniture, they helped us place it in locations that we thought would be best and even offered us advice on where to put some furniture. Our move was complete in about three hours and the gentlemen were nothing but courteous and helpful. They stuck to their quote and there were no additional or hidden fees. I would definitely use them again!

Four guys - one of them mentioned they were the "A-Team" - came and moved our stuff. They were unreal, I saw a guy lift a COMPLETELY FILLED 2 drawer file cabinet up onto his back and waltz down 2 flights of stairs onto the moving truck. They worked fast, moved some seriously heavy furniture, and left without any damage to anything. They were kind, willing to help (we were still moving a few boxes ourselves) and affordable. BTW...we checked out 4 estimates and they were the best, no variable rate stuff. They quoted a price and that was it. Do yourself a favor and call these guys.

We hired Clancy to move us from NYC. A city move can be tricky, but Clancy arrived early, found a parking spot, swiftly and without damage loaded our belongings, and just as carefully settled everything into our new space. The three gentleman who did the move were friendly, helpful, and very professional. Our "Move Coordinator" who handled the arrangements and billing was organized and responsive. She even called the day of the move to see how things were going. Our move came in under quote their quote and we even got a refund! I highly recommend Clancy; they do excellent work.

My experience with Clancy was great from start to finish. They gave me the lowest estimate out of the moving companies I looked at. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous. The movers on both ends worked fast and Amanda in the office was super helpful in getting all the details nailed down. I was moving a one bedroom apartment cross country and everything arrived intact, exactly when it was supposed to, and at the agreed upon price. They made moving my things the easiest, least stressful part of my relocation and I would recommend them highly.

so great - ive used clancy many, many times and each time they are better then the last. i would highly recommend to anyone. the guys are always willing to go above and beyond (help pack boxes, help assemble furniture) without batting an eyelash.
