First off let me say I am not a hater or writing a review out of spite. Secondly let me say I can understand tailoring is not easy and not everyone can do it, and lastly when your paying someone to tailor your clothes to your body they should do just that. Now on to my story. I have given my business to Nu Clear cleaners on Linden Blvd several times in the last year due to a 15 lb weight loss. Now I could not salvage any of my old work clothes so I purchased new work clothes . Let me stress I work in a professional environment so I have to look the part. That being said I brought several items to this establishment over this period of time. Some of them would come out fine others hit and miss, for example I had several shirts tailored some fit just to the specification I asked for when she sized and pinned them... others I wound up looking like Prince in his heyday.WAY TO TIGHT! That I let slide. Now I also brought several pants to their "tailor" who always acts stressed.. shes overworked and has a chip on her shoulder from the time you ask her to fit you. So on this occasion I had a pair of Hugo Boss dress slacks I brought in as well as 2 other pairs of Varvatos slacks. She tells me not to bother trying them on as she will fit them the same way she does the other two. Ok.. I say she must know what shes doing. I pay first as required pick them up two weeks later and another week passes before I actually put them on for work. When I do theyre DRAGGING ON THE FLOOR!!! Of course the only time I can bring them back is on the weekend (Saturday as there are not open on Sundays and they close before 6:30 PM).I bring them back, try them on for her and tell her look at them they are too long. She tells me "I should have tried them on and brought them back"...DUH thats what I am doing now! Regardless if its the same day or a week later I have the receipt you did these pants please fix them. Needless to say it became a big thing because "I was trying to get over". Question how do you get over on a pair of pants you paid to get tailored and not coming out the way you requested and asking for them to FIX THEM???? Needless to say NEVER EVER take your clothes to this Cleaners/Tailor if you expect professionalism or common sense. Unless you like looking like a Sloppy
