I went to this pep boys twice and i purchased a couple items this pepboys employes are unhelpful this place look like a self service gas station non of the workers in this place is interested to help or answer a single question i needed a coolant antifreeze i took one left it on the counter and i asked counter lady keep this im going to find a filter wrench for my car help me if u have it she told me to go to the next counter to the next lady when i aske this other lady to help me to find the correct wrench she said i dont know check in the back i was forget it i went back to the counter where i left my antifreeze to pay for it she moved my antifreeze back all the way to the back of the store when i asked her why u didnt keep it for me she said go get one from the same place . I think pep boys need to train their employees in this specific location how to help customers and how to be nice to customers its not worth of half star .

One of the worst place you can go to. they over charge you for all the services and they are so rude if you ask them about any details about the problem. they are just interested taking your money. I did my wheel alignment and changed my breaks from there. it was making noise after coming home. when I took my car back to them, they were asking to change the Break Caliper. I had my doubts and took to other mechanic. he fixed it without even taking off the breaks. I didnt need to change anything else. I also asked Pep-boys mechanic for wheel alignment print out. I wanted to know what adjustment they have done. But the mechanic refused saying I dont need it since I dont know much about car. I kept asking and he found all the excuse of the world for not giving me the print out of alignment. I think they didnt do any alignment for me. I wont go there ever again if I have a choice.

Worst Pep Boys I ever went to. These guys literally make me appreciate and side with Auto Zone soo much more. Do NOT get anything fixed by the mechanics there. They are the main reason why I hate them so much. My mother went there to get her tires changed only. She left her car there, to come back and find clips for the interior side of her driver door missing, and the piece hanging. One of the mechanics took those clips to use for another car, and went on a 45 minute break for his co worker to cover up the story for him. He gave my mother the option to either wait till he came back from his 45 minute break, or buy new ones and they would fix it for her. She bought them and her husband did for her instead. Theyre sneaky, ignorant liars, and I would advice you to go anywhere else in the world but there to get your car fixed...

The end of the day people remember this is a commercial establishment. So expect to overpay on all services. For example , I went there this morning to have my radiator replaced cuz it was clearly damaged and leaking from the top. Even with that being completely obvious they still charge you $40 just to recheck it. After the $40 they tell me what I already knew I need a new radiator and thermostat. mind you they going to give you a generic part just like all the other auto parts stores around there. its definitely not going to be a manufacturer part. Then the guy says to do all of this its going to cost you $900 plus dollars. I got it done in the same area with the same part he was selling me for under $500 dollars, big difference!

This store has a habit of selling products to people that they dont need. My car was towed to the shop to do repair. They sold my daughter a battery that she did not need and as soon as she left the store the car broke down again. It is their business to find out what is wrong with the car and not just second guess and have people spending money unnecessarily. A simple diagnostic would have sufficed. I was told that it was a separate charge. But if the car is being repaired there the charges should apply. I spoke to the manager who was not willing to listen to anything I had to say. Rip offs

I needed my front left wheel bearings changed. I got three different quotes before I came here. The quotes I received were from 250 to 300. I approached the woman at the desk, explained clearly what I needed, as to not confuse anything. She quoted me a price she said was on her screen of 650. I asked her to repeat and she said it again. Needless to say, I went with the general consensus that that was way too much. I got it done for 282 somewhere else. My point is, how is it double in Pep Boys for the same doggone job as multiple establishments in Queens?

I HATE PEP BOYS ... Went to them yesterday and told them that my car is making a weird clonking sound on the right side and I need a checkup to see what is wrong and how I can fix it. The rude manager of the store said 20 dollas to look at it and walked right away from me .... This is unacceptable and rude but he didnt even get it. I think he is racist against Brown ppl and since I am brown he assumed I wont pay him and walked away... I would have rated it 0 stars but thats not possible so I had to give 1

Placed order online for in store pick up...didnt even got an email confirmation..i had to, call to make sure the order went thru...estimated pick up wasa next day...its three days already...i called to find out whats going on and was put on hold while the guy check the system....after 15 mins i hang up cause it seems like he forgot about me..

Worst location extremely unprofessional especially a staff member named Vijay. Ive been at the location since 11 am through 4 pm to be notified of a tire needing to be replaced. This representative was rude irate and unaware of products. I shall never come back or spend a penny at this establishment

Good prices and fairly fast work. Been going here for basic stuff, like a battery change, brakes, and oil change. They do decent work as I am more comfortable with them and get to know them I will trust them with more intricate work. Will still save very specialized work for the dealer.

Today I when to this location and i have the best customer service ever. Peter aka rastaman assist me , he was in touch with his customers talking n laughing i was so grateful for such service . Thanks Peter.

They close at 6:pm and I went there at 5:40pm to do a simple oil change. They not only refused to do it but when I requested cuz I needed badly they asked on the side extra money. I was like really!!!!!!

Worst Pep Boys. Managers unprofessional not going to help you. I tried to price match the product at another location no problem with this location the manager was rude. He did not want to help.
