On Sunday, September 15, 2013 at approx. 7:45 pm: The in bay touchless car wash had a malfunction. A hose, mechanical arm or similar component of the system came in contact with my car , from front to rear. A loud noise ensued. The component of the car wash left a visible scratch, roof dent, and mark approximately 3-4 inches wide. I reported the issue via telephone on Monday, September 16 to the on duty attendant. The owner of the car wash did not return the call. I visited the car in person on September 21 at approx. 1030 am. Both the son of the owner and the owner categorically denied that the car wash in question could cause any damage to the car. They stated that there had been no breakdowns of the machine. The bay in question has a 24 hour security camera where cars are visible during the wash cycle. I have asked for an examination of the video. The owner advises that the videos need to be downloaded a process which takes 24-48 hours. For sake of honest and trustworthy business practices, I sincerely hope they acknowledge the incident and machine breakdown which I am confident the video will show. Thank you. Update, Saturday 9/21: I advised the owner of Be Wise Car Wash that I had filed a complaint with BBB. They proceeded to download the video promptly. We saw the video. It appears that there was a glitch in their computer guided car wash which caused the robotic arm to reverse directions and pause for a few seconds directly over my car. It was this glitch and pause during the high-pressure rinse that caused me to drive forward. Then the damage occurred. Therefore, it was a computer glitch that caused my reaction which then lead to the car damage. Despite the computer glitch in their system, which was admitted by the owners, they have offered no restitution and stated it was my fault for driving through the wash while it was still in operation. .

I have been a loyal customer of Be Wise for the past 10 years. I have literally never brought my car (or any of my 4 other family members car) to any other place for an oil change. Last oil change I paid $10 EXTRA to upgrade my carwash and accidentally let the coupon expire while I was away on vacation. I went in, brought the coupon and explained the situation and asked for their assistance. They REFUSED to help me. They did so in such a condescending tone, I explained I was a loyal customer and that I would appreciate them just revalidating my coupon which I had PAID FOR. No, they refused. Instead of assisting in a $10 coupon they lost $60 every 3 months from me and 4 other vehicles. Also, last time I had my oil change they brought a filthy air filter to me and suggested I pay to get a new one. Little did they know that I change my own air filters and had just changed it two weeks prior. I am pretty sure they have a dirty air filter in the shop so they can trick people. That or they confused me with another customer, either way incredibly unprofessional.

This place sucks. I went in for a self service car wash. They dont take credit cards. You have to use quarters. The selector switch is on the opposite side of the bay as the gun. You have to waste 20 sec of your time running around to the other side of the car. I put it on the "wash" selection and had all but a few bubbles come out. Since there was no soap, I decided just to use the "rinse" option which yielded no water at all. Wasting more of the time I have paid for I had to run around yet again to change it back the the wash. Since the rinse didnt work I had a soapy film on my car when I left. On top of all of this, I lost pressure when I has 2 min left. An employee walked by and I let him know. All he had to say was I was out of time, when I had over a minute left I had paid for. Skip this place and go to the Foam and Wash car washes all over Rt. 9. I know I wont be back to this car wash again.

warning dont trust this automotive shop I went there for four tires they wanted to give me 4 used coopers for $160.00 EACH I went out to sears and got 4 NEW coopers for about $150.00 cheaper for the four tires ! the trend is this ;bring your car in for an inspection and theyll try there hardest to get more money out of your wallet by overcharging you for parts you may or may not need for the inspection.Think about how many times you go there for an oil change and they end up convincing you that you need a bulb,air filter,windshield wiper etc.... when you leave go right down the road to car quest and double check the price of the part they convinced you to purchase, get your inspection and automotive needs from an automotive shop not a 30 minute oil changing shop new york state dmv take notice!!! p.s. the only bright spot is the nice lady at the front desk

I have been going to this station for years. It has gone down hill over the past 5 years. This past Saturday was the last straw. I was asked what kind of oil I wanted, I said regular.....the technicians decided to use synthetic but no one consulted with me. The price was significantly more than I expected and I was not given the courtesy of deciding whether I wanted them to perform the service. That wasnt the worst part....when I sent to leave the establishment, one of the employees decided to tell me to "f" off and that I was a d**che bag. Never ever going there again.

My car was dirtier when I left!!! Be Wise is severely overdue for some maintenance and upgrades. Self service wash is Filthy, Rusty, Grimey, Nasty. ALL the vacuum cleaner hoses are cracked, and therefore have no suction. The place is a CRAPHOLE!!!! STAY AWAY FROM BE WISE!!! Update 6/20/17 their credit card reader on the 24 hr auto wash had been broken fot over 2 years. Still awful.

ok car wash. Terrible inspection service. The guys there were snobby and think they knowing everything there is to know about cars. Ive been working on cars for years and dont need to be told i need a new catalytic converter when the one i have functions fine and in dutchess you dont even needs cats. so many shops to get inspections done. Dont get yours done here.

I tried the self wash a couple of years ago, stay away, my car came out dirtier than when it went in. I went inside and told them about it and they gave me a free coupon for a regular wash, so at least they made good on it. On the other hand, their regular wash works very well, and the staff is super friendly for oil changes and regular maintenance.

Car wash equipment was poorly maintained and only partially working. soap setting did on work at all and drier setting non functioning. Vacuum did work however.

I get all my tires here. Call ahead and ask for quotes. Always beat Mavis or Goodyear. Same tires..no BS.
