All three of our cars owe their efficiency and longevity to Hillmans My son drives a 1999 Saturn which he takes back and forth to school in North Carolina. It runs well and Hillmans has not only done a good job of repairing it, they have also told him when something isnt really an issue. My daughter drives a 2005 Prius with 230,000 miles on it. It just had to have the battery pack replaced at 229,000 miles and Hillmans did it, and did extra research to find a much lower price then I expected. They also gave me their feedback about an online service for battery pack sales they had found to be unreliable, saving me lots of time and possible money. I drive a 2013 Prius, and Hillmans told me the first time I came in for an oil change that it didnt need it at that point because synthetic oil changes last longer. Again, accurate information (I confirmed it with the dealer I bought the car from) and a significant savings for me. I have used Hillmans for years and find them honest, reliable, friendly and just great people to be around. While nobody likes it when their car breaks down, I am always treated well and get good service when I go to Hillmans

Cheaters and incompetent people. 1) In July 2007, they replaced the timing belt cover gasket on my Taurus 2001 and the misaligned the water pump pulley. As a result, the serpentine belt was getting worn and the compressor clutch pulley bearing damaged. When I brought my car to them and indicated that to them, they snapped at me and said that it was like that before they worked on the car. Cheaters and incompetent people. At some point the clutch bearing just froze and the belt broke. 2) I had a car accident in January 2010, and my car was towed to Hillman through AAA. They charged both !!! AAA and the other drivers insurance. The accident was on January 5, and they charged the insurance starting from January 4 on (for parking) until the car was removed from their place. I have sworn never to go to Hillman Automotive, ever.

These guys know what they are doing. They are efficient, skilled, honest and competitively priced. What more could you want? I brought my jeep in because it was making a horrible rattling noise. It couldve been anything and I wouldve believed whatever I was told. They tightened something up and didnt even charge me. The folks at Hillman Automotive seem to know exactly what the problem is without intensive diagnostics. All my repairs were done correctly without any need for a return visit. Problem solved. The facility is clean in the waiting room is like a hotel lobby. Enjoy snacks coffee and free Wi-Fi. Or watch their flat screen TV. If you need a ride to work youre more than willing to accommodate and pick you up later too. I would highly recommend Hillmans for all your automotive needs

I called to make an appointment 2 days in advance for a few car repairs and received a quote for the price. I dropped the car off and gave them my number to contact me. After waiting almost 7 hours and hearing nothing I called them 15 minutes before they closed for the day. They said the didnt do any of the repairs because they couldnt get a hold of me. This was a complete lie as my phone never registered a missed call from them. On top of that they quoted me a higher price than what they originally said earlier. Needless to say I took my car and left after I made them give me the oil change for free. Stay away!

I will never take a vehicle here again, these people are awful, rude, and dismissive, price went up 3 times, and weve NEVER been treated so badly, check engine light came on a few minutes after driving it, when i called the guy blew me off and said i dont know we didnt check for anything, weve always taken our cars to housels, they were always thorough and kind, ran a complete diagnostic no matter what we brought our car in for, save yourself the headache and take your vehicle anywhere but here. Never again, will I or anyone i know go to this place.

My car was towed to Hillman by police request after I was in an accident, and I had an expensive item stolen from it. This item was either stolen by a Hillman Automotive employee or was stolen on the Hillman Automotive grounds. Since they say they are not responsible for stolen items, there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. This policy allows employees to steal any items they want from a car with very little the victim can do about it. If this ever happens again I would definitely request to go to another place.

When we moved to Lockport in 2001 - I asked around as to where to take my car. Most people said Hillman. We have been using them ever since, I have found them to be fair, honest, and reputable. When I was looking to get another car, I called asking their opinion, and they took the time to help me. I have had small things go wrong, like my wipers were stuck, they fixed them on the spot and sent me on my way - no charge. My husbands car is there now - and I am sure it will be fixed right when I pick it up.

Let me share my experience with this company. I am a small used car dealer in Pennsylvania and our customers fuel pump went out on a van that was recently purchased. Hillman Automotive treated me as well as my customer like family. They were extremely professional, considerate and sensitive to our situation. Shady, shady, shady place. I will have to agree with the following write ups. Seems like they are definitely out to make money any way they can. Walked in there and they were all over me. Seems more like a front for something illegal than an actual car garage. No wonder you dont see too many regular cars there. BEWARE.

Known the Hillman family most of my life. Worked with Dave in an old concrete building thirty years ago. His hard work and integrity has brought him where he is today. Even my 87 year old dad thinks the world of the hillmans. He is tough to please. We will continue to happily use there services.

My wife and I love these guys. They take care of our newer car and our older cars. My wife is in outside sales and puts on lots of miles. She needs reliable repairs and maintenance so that she is safe on the road. Hillmans provides great service and an excellent waiting area for customers.

Seems to be good but dont care for the way they prioritize car repairs. We were told a car driven in takes precedence over a car towed in which doesnt seem fair....should be based on when they got there.
