My family has had nothing but problems with AAA Automark. My mom took her Mazda minivan (02) there to have her brakes replaced, only to have them lose the lugnuts. She ended up having to have her brakes replaced again because they did such a poor job. My sister had her car (00 Saturn) inspected before making a trip from Raleigh to DC--her tire blew out on the highway on the way there. The shop she took it to in DC told her that her tire was worn down so low it exploded, and that whoever did the inspection should have noticed it, told her, and had it changed. Worst of all was when I took my car in (04 Nissan Sentra) for an inspection and oil change. Everything went fairly smoothly (with the exception that the staff at the front desk was rude to me) until I went out to get my car. There was a huge scratch on the rear passenger door--so deep it went completely through paint. As soon as I walked up I told the mechanic that my car was scratched--he rolled his eyes at me and got his manager. The manager proceeded to tell me that I "didnt know what I was talking about" and that I "must have scratched it earlier without realizing it, it happens to everyone." Im 19, not stupid. He then told me that the scratch was so deep it would rust my door and that I could have it repainted there--and that it clearly had happened weeks ago. When I showed him the small pieces of paint that were still sticking out from the scratch, that would have clearly been worn down or chipped off with time, he ignored me. I have never felt so disrespected. They took advantage of the fact I was 19 and "didnt know what I was talking about." DO NOT GO HERE--THIS WAS AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE FOR ME!

I took my car here for a simple oil change. I had made an appointment and showed up on time with the knowledge that it would take 45 mins - 1 hour. I waited in the wait room for an hour and 20 minutes until I went up to check on my car only to find out that my car had not been moved in the entire time I had been waiting. The excuse was that apparently another vehicle came in with a problem that they needed to attend to. I have multiple problems with this: 1. Why is it fair for a vehicle coming in without an appointment to be worked on immediately and be moved ahead of other customers who had appointments? 2. Why did no one come over and tell me "We have an emergency issue with another vehicle that we need to attend to before your oil change" - that way I could have either left and came back later instead of wasting nearly an hour and a half sitting in their waiting room for nothing or I could have chosen to go elsewhere. I left and said I would return later, but after thinking it over decided that I did not want to return at all. When I called to let them know I wasnt coming back they clearly did not care and just said ok. They are NOT trying to offer good services or good customer service at all. They clearly do not care whatsoever about their business or their customers.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO GET WORK DONE HERE!!!!! My son is a student at NC State and needed front brakes. He drove the car to the shop for an estimate. He went to class and when he returned, the shop manager told him that the calipers were broken and that the car was not drive able. He then went on to quote him $1100 for the repair! My son called me and I was furious. I talked to the shop manager and told him the car was drive able when he brought it there. I told my son to have the car towed but the shop closed and the car was stuck there overnight. He returned first thing the next morning and the shop manager changed the estimate from $1100 to $711! This was still a rip off but since my son needed his car, we told them to fix it. I have since disputed the charge and asked Charles Edwards, the shop manager for an itemized invoice. I have not yet received one and I complained to the AAA regional manager, Don Holder. Don has yet to return my emails and phone calls. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I was very upset that after only 2 to 3 months of having my car there were major issues that needed to be addressed. I was sent several names of places to take my vehicle to be repaired but chose AAA because of their reputation. I was not disappointed. The receptionist was extremely patient and kind and was very knowledgeable as well as the staff. My vehicle issues were reported and repaired in one days time and I was given a ride home and from work when my repairs were complete. Triple A definitely made my day...and my week...the driver was so pleasant and all the staff relieved me from a lot of worries and stress. I will always be grateful and if needed will always use AAA. Thanks a million

Beware. My wife had her car towed to this location for a car that would not start when i was out of town. The individual who is behind the desk said her alternator was broke and would cost $515.00 to replace. I knew something was fishy as this is a newer car. I had the car towed home and for $89 i was able to replace the battery. This is sneaky and despicable behavior from this establishment to pull a fast one on a female customer. Any mechanic shop with mechanics with common sense could have hooked up the same volt meter i did and figure out the alternator was fine. I will be in contact with the national AAA center to have this reported. CROOKS.

Do you have time to waste and money to burn? You do? Well, this is a great place to take your car then! Theyll take apart your car and find a little thing, and then charge you a ridiculous amount. We took our car in for a simple fix and they had it there for almost a week. Being a two car family, this was a big inconvenience, but its not like they care about that. We obviously have money to burn on a car rental. We made the mistake of associating AAA with good, reputable service. That is the last time we will use a AAA shop.
