In response, yes we do charge a minimum $55.00 diagnosis fee for any car that is diagnosed. If customers decide to have their cars repaired with us, we often wave diagnosis fees. We have a large sign on our wall that clearly states our minimum diagnosis fee. As far as the transmission, it was shot. There were shrouds of metal in the trans fluid and and the trans was jumping out of gear. Now to find out what exactly broke inside of the trans, you would have to pull it out and apart. That would be very labor intensive and very expensive . Our best techs looked at this vehicle for almost 2 hours and did their job correctly. The customer was also only charged 1/4 of the total time spent on the job. We are a small business and we do not do free work .It is not fair to our hard working employees nor to our paying customers to stop what they are doing to do free work. I honestly dont know anyone who goes to work everyday to work for free. As far as getting defensive, yes we do get a little defensive when some calls up screaming, talking down to us, cussing directly at us, calling us very immature names, and threating us. We have been a family owned business for almost 14 years and pride our selves on our honesty and our ability to help our customer with all that we can. As we all know that you cant please every single person but we do give it our absolute best.

Do not go to this station! If the mechanic service is anything like the staff managing this place on the weekends then they are apathetic and rude. Just stopped for fuel. The staff said that something was wrong with my card and thats why I had to pay inside! I told them that I had just pulled up and that the pump wouldnt let me do anything there! It had no buttons active and no prompts! I had not even put my card in the pump yet! The staff member ran my card and did not provide a receipt. When the pump cut off and tried to keep fueling away (without fuel, of course) the rest of the money I went back inside. The African American woman behind Saturday (4/29/17 ~10:45-11:00am) the counter seemed irritated that I wanted to know about the rest of my money. Yet again she did not provide a receipt or volunteer one either! I have no idea what I was charged or if I will see the remainder of my money. (No matter how little it is, its still the customers money! And I reiterate, no receipt!) If this is the way this station does business in general, then you should STAY AWAY!

Avoid these guys (especially your spouses!) These guys are a complete rip off!!! My wife had *very* simple problem that needed repair. Well, they gave her an estimate of over $700 (not lying)!! Normally, an unsuspecting woman would say, ""well ok, I need it done"". I went in later and checked the estimate and about had a bird. Anyway, knowing a little bit about cars, I spoke to and questioned them why the estimate included things that did not need repairing? They vehemently tried to talk me into it.. but they knew I was pi--ed about the estimate. I told them to ""can it"" and left. I went back later - I fixed the problem in the parking lot and drove off. I then took it to the Exxon on Strickland Rd, and had them look at it. 10 minutes later she was back on the road with NO CHARGE!! DONT GO HERE, NOR SEND YOUR UNSUSPECTING SPOUSES HERE!!! These guys give car care mechanics a bad name.

Lack of communication and business Etiquette/professionalism. The truck broke down right in front of their auto shop. I asked if they would just take a quick look at it. I was told okay. I was not told, that I was going to be charged 70 dollars to check and give me an estimate that stated : "Transmission needs Rebuild 2900$". Real Specific guys thanks. Also said its not their problem I didnt know they were going to charge me for a diagnostic. Do not go there if you want honest and quality service.

Looked at my brothers car while he was visiting out of town. Driver side outer tie rod end clearly had a lot of play in it and was creating a creaking noise in the steering. He takes it to these guys and they tell him it needs struts? And that itll be $1000? And they still charged him for the estimate! These guys are crooks and take advantage of uninformed people. Do not go here.

I moved to Raleigh nearly 10 years ago and after my fair share of bad experiences with mechanics, a friend recommended Falls Village. Since then I havent taken mine or my wifes vehicle anywhere else. Bobby and Jason are knowledgeable and fairly priced. On top of that, I prefer going to a privately owned business as opposed to major shop where the workers have no loyalty to the brand.

I have been going to the guys for years and they are wonderful. Reliable and trustworthy. They always have time for me. They are honest about what my vehicle needs and what can wait till next time. It is a family business...a father and his sons. They are friendly, down home guys that are really smart about what they do. Wish I could take them with me as we move away!

When a person pays for a diagnostic, they should receive a diagnostic work sheet like Firestone, Ammoco, Sears etc provide, not BOBBY telling me his opinion. Pay for a service thats is what you should get, not an explanation. Makes me wonder now that BOBBY was so defensive if he even performed a diagnostic amd got called on it. Well thats what lawyers are for!!!!!!

Have had several needs over years for tire repair because of tire tread puncture, and these guys have been Johnny on the Spot, had me in and out in literal minutes and with very reasonable charge. This service has helped to avoid having to buy a new tire and theyre the first crew I call when needed.
