I want to start by saying that the rating I gave Mundane Motors is too high, but there was no other option available. Two years ago I went to this dealer concerning some shaking that occurred in my Dodge RAM when I would come to a stop. After they inspected my truck they told me I needed new rotors and brakes on the front. I told them there is nothing wrong with the rotors and brakes on the front and told them to pull my truck out of their garage. I immediately took it to a mechanic I know I could trust and have used him for a lot of years. It was a longer drive but when I took it to him and he pulled the front tires he told me there was nothing wrong with the front. He pulled the rear tires and found the problem. I needed new rotors and brakes on the rear end of the truck and I had him replace them. His cost as about $300 lower than Mundane Motors wanted to charge me for doing the fronts which did not even need to be replaced. Recently, I decided to give Mundane Motors another chance. I thought, maybe they were just having a bad day or had a bad service manager, just maybe things were better there now. I now have a newer truck by the way and nothing wrong with rotors or brakes, or even emergency brake on the truck because I tested everything even before going there. There were some minor problems with the truck, windshield wipers needed to be replaced and one lug nut was missing. They had no idea where to get a lug nut and began putting pressure on me for that, the customer. So I told them, youre the dealer you should know this. They also told me that the emergency brake was sticking and could (the key word here is "could" and didnt mean that is was happening) cause the rear brakes to lock up causing extreme wear on the rear calipers. He went on to say most people dont ever use their emergency brake. He blabbed on too much making himself look pretty stupid, never inquiring to know if I used mine at all (I use mine). There was a lot of assumption on his part. He had no idea I checked the emergency brake even before going to his shop to be sure. He pointed out that one of my lug nuts was missing. (Did they remove it to put me in a predicament? I dont know, Im pretty sharp but have to confess I did not check lug nuts in advance). So I asked him if he can get one, they were at a loss. I told him youre the dealer, see what you can do. (I played dumb). He said the wipers would not pass, I thought, no biggy, how much for you to change them? He told me $49.00. I thought, wow, theyre trying to get rich quick. But it wont happen on my dollars, Ill get them myself. Costed me less than $19.00 (DUH). Then he goes on to tell me that because my emergency brake was sticking and could cause the brakes to not release, once they opened the rear end, if they could not oil it and get the emergency brake working (which I know it worked because I checked it just before going to this garage but they didnt know this ahead of time) They told me they would need about $750 to get my truck in order. I thought, this guy is trying to take me for a ride again, even though I gave them another chance. And it was the same service manager I spoke to, two years ago. And I know full well the rear brakes and calipers are in better shape than the fronts even though the fronts dont even need to be replaced at this point. I asked, what will it cost me if I dont have you do all this work and I have you take my truck out of your garage right now? He said, $21.00. I said, okay, Ill pay the $21, put my truck outside while we do the paper work. I told them Ill try to locate the lug nut myself. Within a half hour I found a store less than a mile away and ordered the lug nuts. They were after market rims so I had to buy the full set. I took my truck to another garage after that, The inspection, only $42 in their garage and I have nothing wrong with Rotors and brakes. I wont go back to Mundane Motors again. After my experience there, I am afraid of them. I thought, wow, someone would likely get PTSD going there.

Mullane Motors is Horrible - Zero Respect Recieved. I recieved a mailing from this dealer so I went to their website to check out their inventory, I found a car I liked so I sent them my Vehicle information including my VIN to recieve a trade in value before making the decision to go. I was offered $12,675 for my trade online, I figured out total loan cost and payments based on a 60 month loan and decided to head to the dealership. when I advised them of the vehicle I wanted and payments that I wanted to make. They thought that it was great because I was ready to buy, I had everything ahead of time to save time. One problem... They decided that my trade in was only worth $10,000, I asked what was wrong with the car, what is causing the value to be so low? They advised me that the car was in perfect shape, that this price was the fair market value. I asked what book or tool they use to figure out that price? They advised they dont use a book, they have experience and that the black book, the blue book, edmunds and the NADA are all wrong, they know the real value. I then showed the trade value in they gave me online and was told that it didnt matter, the price they are offering now is $10,000. The sales person (Bruce) then showed me that he still got the payments that I wanted and told me to "sign here", when I looked it over, the contract was for 72 months not 60 and was going to cost me an extra $3659.89 which I was not willing to pay. When I said no thanks, he became demanding and asked why I wouldnt make the deal since he got me the payments I wanted. I advised that it was longer than I wanted to pay and cost more than I was willing to pay and he continued to pressure me, my feelings and opinion didnt matter to Bruce... he just kept pressuring me to sign, even when I explained why I wasnt willing to sign and showed him with my Iphone how I could get a better deal he continued to pressure me. He never stopped until I got up and walked out. I will never go back and recommend you dont bother going unless you want to be pressured into something that you dont want to do. Bruce (And I am sure the rest of them) has the idea in his head that he isnt ripping you off if you let him do it. Beware of this place.

Saw a real nice vehicle online then at the dealership. My wife and I were met by Mike Porth from sales. We decided to take it for a ride and thought the vehicle was really nice. The interior looked mint. Whoever does their detailing, does a magnificent job! Exterior was just as good. Mike was very casual not pushy, asking like other dealerships... "what can I do to put you in this vehicle RIGHT NOW". We went inside and talked price. After Mike gave us figures we were disappointed. In fact I thought a discount they were offering was also included in my trade in. That didn"t sit well with me. The discount is theirs, not part of a trade in. We eventually left after some brief talk. Hoping all the while that Mike may call with a better deal. About 8 that same evening Mike did call me and asked if I liked the deal. I told him of my dissatisfaction about including your discount as my trade in. He apologized and said thats not what it was and we ended. Again I thought that was either it or they may call back if they want a sale. Next morning the General Manager calls me. Don"t remember his name. He expressed apologies of my dissatisfaction of including the discount as part of my trade. Then offered me another deal that he had talked over with Mike. The deal was better than I hoped for. We went in that morning and closed on the vehicle we liked. So to summarize... Initial opinion was...okay but sounds like typical car salesman stuff. After THEY had my opinion and came up with a much better deal my opinion changed. These guys are really trying to satify customers. It was actually very pleasurable to talk with Mike and the manager. The sale and financial goings on were extremely simple. We left with a great vehicle. Mike P. is the guy you should talk to at Mullane. But if he"s the type of salesman Mullane employs you could talk to any of them. I would definitely send anyone to Mullane for vehicles. 5 stars. P.S. I love my new used truck!
