My experience with West Auto was, well, HORRIBLE. DON’T USE THEM. POOR QUALITY OF SERVICE. Here’s why: They were friendly and knowledgeable enough initially which is why I chose to use them for performing a 100 point inspection on my car. Well, they came back with some recommendations which I followed to be on the safe side. One such repair included replacing the passenger front CV boot and joint due to a tear in the grease sleeve. Well, it started leaking not too far into my trip I took after it was services. So I had another mechanic take a look and he said he didn’t see what had been replaced around the CV, if anything. Upon contacting West End, they had a response which made me livid with them: “Is the grease pouring out of the CV?” to which I responded no, it was a small drip. Then this guy says “Well then don’t worry about it. The car is old and how long are you going to possibly keep it for?” Ummm, ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!??!! WOW. That’s your attitude when I have an issue with your service (or lack thereof)? Awesome. But wait, it gets better – my transmission literally broke down not too far into the same trip I took immediately after the repairs/service. Once I got it repaired (in a different state) I went back to West End Auto to find out how they missed the fact that my transmission clearly was in need of a tune up and other maintenance items. Their answer? “Well, we don’t know what you did on your road trip so we’re not liable”. Ok, yes, you don’t know. However, part of a 100 point inspection INCLUDES the transmission. How the heck do you miss identifying that a transmission needs some work? Yes, it’s internal, but by checking the fluid they would have clearly seen it was in need of service at the very least. DON’T USE THEM. POOR QUALITY OF SERVICE.

Friendly but incompetent service. Put in a used gas tank. Was not told that it could be as bad as the one I had. Continued to leak. Tried to fix it. Couldnt . Said I should have gotten a new one. I wasnt told that a used one would leak too. Why would I buy a used and broken oil tank. They now said I should get a new one after I spent at least 150 for a used one. Spoke to them on Monday. Today is Wednesday and i have had no contact with them. They were recommended by my daughter. In the neighborhood and would be very convenient to use them. How can I ever use them again. I had an inspection and spent at least 400 for all services. This is ridiculous.

I have had the best experiences over the years with Bobby and his guys with all of my vehicles as well as my families. They are trustworthy, quick and reliable. Take my word for it you will be you cannot go wrong!!

Bobby and his guys are the best!! They have fixed up my old car numerous times and I always trust them to do an excellent job and not over charge. Highly recommend!

Miss or hit automotive. They miss you lose. When they get the prognosis wrong, they want to charge you again. They dont guarantee anything. pass them by.
