Updated 11/2/13 I must post the follow-up to this incident. After calling the office (no luck) and posting to their Facebook page (no response) a manager from Nebrasky finally contacted me after reading my earlier post here (below). They made it right by sending out a different plumber, with no new service charge as originally threatened. They made the needed repairs, crediting the original service charge and even giving me a bit of a break on the fee. The new plumber was very professional, neat, thorough and diagnosed the real problem in minutes. All of which should have happened originally. I have no problem that sometimes companies, like people, make mistakes. And I am glad when they stand up to fix their mistakes. But I do wonder about a company that has 2 proven incompetent employees(as admitted by the office) dealing with their customers. I think I would probably call them again and see how the phone interaction went before "contracting" for service. Orig post: Called Nebrasky figuring I would pay thru the nose to any plumber so with this large, local company I would at least have a better chance of getting satisfaction. WRONG! They sent this large older dude who couldnt get down on the floor of my tiny powder room even if he wanted to. Told me there was no leak and that the damp spots on the wall was due only to condensation. The low water in the toilet and resulting insufficient flushing was probably due to evaporation. I said "are you sure its not worth removing the wall board to see whats going on?" "No - just buy a fan" he said. Oh and hand over $140.00. PS - now, less than 3 months later, the wall is completely saturated and the obvious leak is much worse. I called customer service and they offered to send out a different guy. Okay - great I said. Oh and I wont pay another service fee, right? Of course I would have to! UNBELIEVABLE!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. Apparently they are content to generate income simply from having their guys drive around all day!

Nebrasky got my AC unit up and running last April when we first moved into the Toll Brothers complex in Fishkill Woods. The tech spent a good deal of time in service, inspecting and preparing the unit to operate efficiently, and we were extremely happy with the results. When our warranty with Toll Brothers was coming to an end, I called to get estimates of service, and Nebrasky was by far the most reasonable. I left a message over the weekend to schedule an appointment and within minutes received a call back and another Monday morning. To my surprise and delight, the affableness of the appointment secretary was welcomed and an appointment was scheduled for the same day! Later, a courtesy call reminded me that the tech would be at my house shortly. The courtesy call was also a pleasant surprise and greatly needed since my wife and I had stepped out for lunch and would not have been home to meet the tech! In my opinion, the tech did a thorough job and was courteous and professional in every way. In fact, my neighbor stopped by and I told him about Nebrasky and how wonderful they are and he then wanted me to introduced him to the tech and said, I will be calling you guys for service. The tech, upon leaving, informed me that he had turned off the humidifier which I had forgotten to do. To some-up, my wife and I are glad we chose Nebrasky and will find it easy to recommend the company.

The reason we called Nebrasky Plumbing is due to high praise of one of your employees. His vehicle broke down near where we live in Monroe and he needed to get to work. When I asked where he worked he said Nebrasky Plumbing. I asked if he liked his job and was nebrasky any good should we ever need a plumber some day. Well that was almost 8 years ago maybe and I still remember the high praise the guy had for Nebrasky. I only wish I had gotten his name. After I drove the guy to where he needed to go I told my husband later that night about the great testimonial an employee gave his employer. It always stuck with us. So last week when we had problems with our relatively new toilet, I said lets call Nebrasky! We couldnt have been happier with the professionalism and timeliness of the serviceman - Greg L. He was courteous, thorough, worked cleanly and mindfully of our new bathroom and even explained what he did. Plus we got a 1 year warranty for his work! I dont know if there are other plumbers in the area (Im sure there are) but we will never hesitate to call Nebrasky Plumbing and no one should! There prices and professionalism where excellent.

My review would go something like this..... From the minute I called Nebrasky, in tears due to a plumbing emergency and an international flight later that day, the people I spoke with were nothing but compassionate and understanding. The woman I spoke with, whos daughter is also named Heather, was just amazing. She found a plumber that was available and would be to my house within 30 minutes. Fast forward 30 minutes when Dom arrived. What can I say about Dom?! He was simply put - amazing. Imagine walking into complete chaos - the shower running because something internal had broke, a dog that was excited, two kids and an emotional mother worried about the water running and missing a flight later that day. Dom explained everything a taught me how to turn off the main water supply! He fixed everything and showed me what went wrong. I am forever grateful for everything Dom did! In a nutshell, Nebrasky is one of my best plumbing experiences. They understood the urgency of my situation and were able to remedy the issue with the experience needed along with compassion and friendliness.

During the coldest day of the winter, at least during that week, the heat in the new place we moved into stopped working. Woke up to 30 degrees with a baby screaming in the next room. We needed someone quick to keep the kids from shivering out of their skin, and we needed someone reliable, I cant stress enough the screaming 11 month old at 3am...not fun! Nebrasky squeezed us in, understanding the predicament, and the gentleman who showed up was polite and informative. He checked the boiler, did some tests and cleaned a part. When he said all he had to do was clean a part I thought for sure he was crazy - but he was honest and the bill reflected the work he did. He stayed to make sure the temp actually increased and event checked our vents. He gave us some great advice especially b/c we had a dog and I believed him to be honest and I trusted everything he said! I was very happy with the kindness they showed in a dire time and the respect they gave me by not trying to sell me something I didnt need. I recommend Nebrasky to everyone I know - well everyone in this area.

Called on a Friday for some emergency service on a Monday, and a regular furnace service. Luckily for us, we have friends in the business and got our emergency taken care of over the weekend. Monday morning they decided they knew "from our description" that we had a main line blockage and they dont do that, so only sent a tech that was only qualified to do the furnace. Furnace was serviced, but the plumbing expert I was expecting to go over some of the things in the house was not. How you would diagnose our issue without even checking is beyond me....We bought a foreclosure so I had additional systems in the house I wanted checked out, but apparently Ill be going elsewhere for that. Way to lose out on a potential big customer, was not professional at all and definitely will not use them for anything else or recommend them to anyone. If I was still waiting for a plumber I would be incredibly disappointed and not had any time to set up an appointment with a different plumber.
