Demos, as the owner of Prestige Automotive, it would be very helpful if you could be specific about your review. How were your treated rudely? What is your concern? Who was the person who treated you rudely? If there is a deficiency in by business operation I cannot correct it just by someone stating that we were "rude". Names, dates and times would be very helpful. Jon, I encourage the use of these forums, good reviews and bad, however these forums only work when the author is factual and truthful. There is no business that is perfect nor is there a business that can make everyone happy. There many facts that you left out of your review that are pertinent: Your accident occurred at 10:30 in the evening during a snow storm. You lost control of your truck while traveling south bound on route nine caromed over the median and struck a north bound vehicle with such force that you tore the rear axle out from one side of your pickup truck. During the 45+ minutes that it took the fire department extricate the other driver you could have notified the police department that you wanted AAA or made your own arrangements. AAA is not free there is a yearly membership. After the police department finished their investigation, usually an investigation is done when there is a possibility of serious injuries, we were instructed by the police department to tow your vehicle. Getting your pickup truck off of the snowbank and onto the flatbed was difficult due to the broken rear axle and the frame that was so badly twisted that steering the truck in the direction it need to go was so difficult it required me to re-position my flatbed several times in order to get your truck loaded. Once your truck was loaded I was faced with the task of retrieving and loading your bed liner (which was ejected from the impact) and cleaning up the 100 debris field along the north bound lane of route nine. Before loading your car I did make the statement that the insurance company will pay for everything but that was after you told me that your vehicle had "full coverage". After driving you to meet your Mom, whom was not able to get to the accident scene because route nine was shut down, we towed the vehicle to our location. It was then you told me that you made a mistake and you only have liability coverage. From our location we towed your truck to Myers Corners Road. Unloading your badly damaged truck was indeed difficult and then we unloaded your bed liner. From the time I left my house to the time I got home was over two hours. Your truck was heavily damaged, your bed liner and debris from both vehicles needed to be cleaned up, I provided you a ride to your mother. Your vehicle was towed over 12 miles not 5 (please Google it). A typical breakdown tow from your accident location at 11:00 pm to your residence would be in the $135.00 range without having to deal with the extensive wait time, extensive damaged to a vehicle requiring additional labor to load / unload and during a snow storm. When all facts are considered $250.00 is not unreasonable. The only time that we insist on being paid with cash is when we are confronted with resistance such was circumstance in your case. I know writing this review was important to you; you took the time to do so. I am sure you took the time to reach out to extend your condolences to the victim in the other vehicle and if you would be so kind please let me know how that person is doing I would appreciate it. Its important that I take the time to sincerely thanks Larry Sheehan for the service he provided to me this past Thursday. My car needed a jump to get out of the parking lot after work on Thursday (just after 5PM). I knew I needed a new battery right away. I had never been to Prestige Automotive on Vassar Rd but I had passed it every day to and from work since moving over to our new location back in April. I said "what the heck" and pulled in to Prestige and saw Larry outside. Knowing it was 5:15 I asked Larry if he was still open and told him I needed a new battery. He told me to pull around while he looked for a battery. As it turned out he had a great battery at a great price and he installed it and had me back on the road by six. I really have to give kudos to an owner who stays at the shop after hours to help someone on the spot. Having worked in retail for many years when I was younger I know this is the way I took care of things and its great to see someone who thinks the same way!

Just basing this on an experience I had while driving down Rt 9 North on 6/28/15,It was raining and I was stuck behind some slow traffic when this tow truck came flying up on my rear end he was bobbing and weaving like it was my fault we were going slow he rode my bumper and almost rear ended me I will never do business with this company and will tell my friends and colleagues not to call this company,If this is the way you drive YOUR the guys who cause accidents maybe your just trying to drum up some business... 10450-are the first numbers of the licence plate of this truck just so you know its one of yours .Shame on you and that driver he made your company look like crap!!

Run hard run fast and dont look back. Prestige automotive is a crooked shop that engages in unethical business practices and will rip you off. They tell you your vehicle needs work that it actually doesnt need. The owner larry is a rotten lowlife, he will steal your hard earned money. I want to see Prestige automotive go out of business. On a side note I wouldnt buy gas at the attached sunoco if my car stalled out right in front of it. Larry probably spikes the gas at his station so cars run poorly and break down.Anyone who brings their vehicle here is delusional, there are far superior repair shops to this one. Avoid like the plague.

Larry has serviced my cars for years and I appreciate the service to ensure the car is always running. He always provides early indications of things to watch at the next service to help budget. My wife had a flat tire on the other side of the river one night. She called a tow and when the guy came to change the tire he asked who services your car. He liked the the lug nuts were greased so the tire came off east and the spare had air in the tire. Larry focuses on customer service and I need to ensure my cars are running since I have a long communte. Thus I trust larrys service Nd appreciate all his technicians.

Got into an accident. Without asking they hooked me up (I wanted to use triple A) and said theyd tow me to their shop and insurance would pay for everything. I didnt have collision on my truck so yeah, that didnt pan out. Asked if they could just tow me home (5 miles) and how much. I was quoted 375. They came down to 250 (cash), but still overcharged and not happy about it. Could have gotten a free tow from triple A. Scanning the police radio to take advantage of drivers who have just gotten into an accident is not cool.
