We had a kitchen sink clogged up and I tried with a snake and chemicals to clear it to no avail. We called Roto-Rooter Service at around 9AM on a Monday morning and they responded immediately with a call back and email that a plumber would be at our house between 10Am -Noon that day. Then Roto-Router called us again to inform us that the Plumber would be there within 30 minutes. He showed up at 11:30AM (Henry P.) reviewed the problem and was very courteous and knowledgeable and explained the situation to us in terms we could understand. The +15 foot PVC sink waste drainpipe in the basement was missing a "hangar" in the middle (There were hangars at each end) thus causing a visible and noticeable bow where all the "gook" has settled over the years. He was worried that he could snake out the debris but the problem would still recur. He gave us an option at the same price to replace the PVC drainpipe or snake the drain line. It was a ‘no brainer’ so he replaced the PVC pipe and installed the needed missing hangar in the center without causing any mess in our basement. Now we dont have to worry about this problem anymore. We are very satisfied with the response time, reasonable cost, and the solution; we were also able to pay by credit card which was easier for me. The experience was great. The work was done in Kings Park but the survey software sends me to RR Plumbing Roto-Rooter in Queens Village coincidentally where I used to live as a kid?????

We experienced a terrible plumbing emergency in our Long Beach home and, because weve received great service from them before on several occasions, didnt hesitate to call Roto-Rooter. Their skilled journeyman plumber, Frank, quickly figured out what the problem was and went straight to work repairing it. Now, our house is over 100 years old, and the problem was no lightwork by any imagination. The break in the kitchen main drain line was a real head-scratcher, to be sure, and there was a very real probability that the entire kitchen counter and sink would have to be ripped out in order to replace the ancient steel pipe. A reality we neither had the time or money to deal with. But because of his skill and experience, Frank was able to graft a section of new pipe onto the old stub sticking out of the wall, working in a tight space that one could barely fit a hand into let alone a tool... He managed to work this amazing feat in the space of just a few hours, and we were happy to get away for a very affordable few hundred dollars instead of the thousands which this nightmare could have quite possibly cost. We are very satisfied with the services provided by Roto-Rooter; with their response time, their skill, their professionalism and their prices, and should the need arise would not hesitate to call them-in the proverbial New York minute.

I was VERY impressed with the company rep who answered the phone and told me that the service man would be at my residence in about 1 hour. She was right on the money!! The service man, Richard Cassillas, arrived within the hour, rang the bell, introduced himself and got right to work. He knew exactly what to ask and suggested reasons for the problems and set out to correct it. I was with him all the way.....in the bathroom, down the basement and outside while he was clearing the drains to the cesspool. You could see he was very experienced and knew exactly what to do. He was fast, efficient and professional. He made sure that all the drains were cleaned and cleared of all debris annd cleaned up after himself......which I really appreciated. Afterwards, he introduced me to the roto rooter drain cleaner which he suggested that I purchase in order to prevent future problems . Payment was done effortlessly thru his wireless phone and my credit card and I did not have to waste time making out a check..........which I really appreciated. Rich was in and out in about an hour with the problem being solved and freeing me up to do other chores. In conclusion, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Roto-Rooter experience to others who have not tried it yet.......you will NOT be disappointed !! Good Luck

We had a clogged kitchen drain. We watched hours of You Tube How-Tos, took advice from anyone with an opinion, poured gallons of drain cleaner down the sink until, finally, after Thanksgiving, the water simply sat there in defiance, daring us to get rid of it. We went right to work; internet trouble-shooting, reading through forums and then finally, broke down and called Roto-Rooter. We were given a four-hour window the same day we called, but Henry (1120) called even sooner (On a SUNDAY!) and said he could be right over. We put the Yorkies behind locked doors and prepared ourselves for hours of barking and whining while the job was done. Henry really didnt mind the dogs, he was polite, professional and got the job done in under an hour. Not TOO much whining and barking on the price either! Henry (1120) was professional, took great care with our granite countertops, and a small touch I personally appreciated, he wore a uniform AND a smile- ON A SUNDAY! Turns out the problem was something we would have NEVER been able to fix ourselves, at least without a professional snake and knowledge of our piping system. Roto-Rooter lived up to its well-earned reputation, and Henry (1120) was a shining representative of the company! And my drain is clear! Thank You!

Professional, fast and skilled! Being the owner of a contracting business and arriving from out of state to a home with frozen and broken heating pipes in the middle of the night, I was exceptionally impressed from my first phone call to the answering center to the completion of the job. The answering center was very courteous and easy to talk to, the technician, Kenny G, was awesome. I was without heat and water and in a 20 degree house, he arrived an hour before the scheduled time due to the nature of the situation. He might have stopped work for 20 minutes for lunch while working in and around a below freezing house. The work that was done was neat and clean with as little interruption to the house as possible. Ken was also experienced to the point of predicting where he would find additional leaks, which served to avoid water damage to more of the house. In total, we had around 6 leaks and Ken had everything done, the heat back on and very little evidence that any work had been done, in my opinion as a contractor, in an outstanding time. I not only strongly recommend but will most certainly re-use this company (which I actually already have). Great Job!! Thank you for outstanding service! (Call #3761)

Called this morning and was scheduled for an appointment within 2 hours. Got a heads up call about 45 minutes out letting me know that the tech was on his way. Chris62 came and was great. Knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and took the time to explain the situation and what the options were. While I agree with other reviews that it was a bit on the pricey side, I had paid a similar rate with a local plumber who had done the same job (obviously not to completion) but did not offer the 6 month guarantee on the work as RR did. That was the tipping point. I feel better knowing that if the same issue arises in a month (as did after the previous plumber attempted the job), we will be covered. He also ensured that they would do a full camera inspection of the line, which is scheduled for tomorrow. He also gave me advice about preventing the issue from reoccurring and a long-term plan for maintenance. Also, I appreciated that he gave me the total costs up front before starting any work. I knew what we were getting into and there were no surprises when the bill came. In fact, while he worked I found a coupon online (check their website!) and was able to bring the bill down before I paid.
