STEER CLEAR Dont waste your money/time. Ive gone there several times with issues, as well as my mom. I walked in asking for an oil change, fix the evap system leak, and fix the misfire (only needed spark plugs). I came out with a $200+ oil change and nothing else accomplished. They also stole a pair of brand-new rayban sunglasses out of my car. They were less than two weeks old. He said "sorry but i dont think anybody wear sunglasses here. Okay buddy?" STAY AWAY!!!!! My cousin is a mechanic (how i found out what needs to be accomplished). I later got my evap system and misfire fixed for slightly more than the price of my oil change at red hook auto sales....

This place is a rarity in terms of fair pricing and quality service. When you get a quote they stick to it and do not price gouge like so many other repair shops. I would highly recommend this business. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and quite capable of communicating your vehicles issues. The place is clean with a nice vibe and good coffee.

These guys are the most fair, honest and competent mechanics in this area. They dont try to sell you a service or product if its not needed. You can trust these guys. A lot of garages will try to take advantage of females lack of knowledge... not these guys... I recommend them as highly as I can

Most important thing is they are honest and fair with their pricing. I know that I can trust them to work on my car and not break something else in the process. They understand that times are tough for everyone locally and they dont price gouge.

Fair pricing and theyre no bullshit. Ive had issues with other mechanics making up issues to try squeezing more money out of me and that doesnt happen at Red Hook Auto. Multiple generations of mechanics doing business the way it should be done.
