My house in Pittsford is 55 years old. A year ago I requested a quote for a new Sump Pump and replacement pipes and Kindly received a visit to ascertain what was needed and thus given the quote for the work and parts. Yesterday, one year later, I requested whether the quote was still valid, which it was. I then requested a service call to begin the work. I was offered the same day service. I accepted. David Valle arrived at 11 am, reviewed with me what entailed in the work he had to do. He highlighted a number of options, both for practical and esthetic needs for the housing of the Sump Pump due to very old construction foundations plus had to remove old wash tables and replace with new hardware. NO HARD SELL. I was so delighted the way he presented all the work that had to be done and he was prepared with tools to start the same day. He gave me an invoice before the work started. The original quote was also incorporated in the new price for my new needs. By 5 pm all the work was done...the old equipment gone and the "new" completely installed. The basement was spotlessly clean again with my new amenities. I am totally thrilled with Davids work and the job that has been accomplished. This is a company to work with and be satisfied with both price and job well done. Just one more point, while David is on the job (so to speak) he recommends we get an overhaul of all our house plumbing to ascertain that all is OK. Pride Plumbing sent in Ken, the same day, to give us a complete report on all rooms and what is to be replaced. No pressure to get it done right now...prices were quoted for the repair. I recommend very highly Pride Plumbing for their integrity... keeping the quote price, their efficiency of their work, their response to customer requirements, fixed timing for the work and for prices that are acceptable and within keeping of my budget. Finally, the personnel they send to do the work...congenial, customer oriented and efficient well trained competent engineers.

Another great experience with Pride Plumbing! Our kitchen sink drain clogged completely on Thanksgiving morning. We limped through the day and called Pride the next morning (Black Friday) to clear the clog and, while we were at it, replace a defective faucet installed during a basement remodel (Pride did not do that installation). We initially got an appointment for Saturday, but they called back to say they had a cancellation and could come at 1:00 Friday, which was perfect. The clog was non-trivial and required a rather lengthy snake to clear. After clearing it, our technician Sam checked the pipe to the street and noticed water standing in the pipe. After describing the potential problem of a clog between the house and the street, which for our house is a very long lateral run, he installed the replacement facet in the basement, and while he was doing so considered other possible causes for the standing water in the pipe from the house to the street. Instead of snaking out that pipe, which would have been quite costly, he tried a "stress test" where we filled up two sinks with water and released them while flushing two toilets at the same time. That volume of water flowed quickly, and while there was water standing in the drain to the street afterward, it appeared to be due to a "belly" in the long lateral run and not due to a clog, which saved us the costly snake job. Throughout his visit, Sam was great at explaining what was going on, and it was clear that he was honestly working to identify the cause(s) of the problem and apprise us of the cost to solve it. The bottom line was that he advocated the cheaper solution because that was the right thing to do. In short, he was very professional, and I highly recommend Pride Plumbing (this was not our first great experience with them).

I had a flooded basement from and found a water heater leak and needed a new one in my other home in Rochester. After a weekend with no hot water I called pride plumbing first thing Monday due to the google reviews. They sent David V out that evening. David informed me that I needed a new water heater and my valve and piping needed to all be replaced and was not up to code. He informed me what would need to be done and why and showed me everything. I didnt want to buy a new one much less pay extra but it needed to be done. David quickly calculated the cost and showed me all the parts I would need and the rates and pricing. Which were all fair prices. He was extremely professional while being personable. My old heater was over 30 years old I had no choice. David was honest and professional knowledgeable and confident in his work. So I agreed assuming next he would ask for payment and then order parts and give me a installation date. I was wrong David laughed and informed me he has everything to do the job on his Truck and I would pay after the job is done. David went to work quickly I came to check on the job and in between work we chatted and I asked questions that he professionally and politely answered. I barley even heard him working the man is truly at the top of his trade a true professional plumber and all around nice guy, with great energy and disposition, a stand up guy. Im so gad I chose pride to do this job I had the best shower I have ever had since I owned the home I will never call another company Pride Plumbing is A1 now I know why they have such high ratings on google, I couldnt be happier with the work. Customer service, pricing, professionalism, products, and the actual work done are all A+ Now have a new plumber for this house. Thanks to David V. and pride Plumbing. Cheers

On the evening of 5/15/2017, I heard my sump pump motor running, but no pumping was occurring. The water level was extremely high in the holding area, but not close enough to warrant an emergency call. I checked with Hawn Heating & Air, who I deal with regularly. The gal I spoke with didnt hesitate for a second when recommending Pride Plumbing. I called and was told someone would be at my house between 7-10pm that even though I clearly stated I didnt think it would hurt to wait until the next day. I got a call from "Ken"about 2 hours after my call to Pride. He said he could be at my house in 40 minutes, hours earlier than had been stated to me which was awesome. Ken arrived. He was neat and very nice. So respectful and courteous to me. He checked my sump pump, made a quick diagnosis, quoted me a price and set to work. He said it would take a couple of hours to install a new pump. He finished ahead of schedule. Everything was explained to me. I did purchase the service plan because it was a good deal. Ken did a complimentary inspection of my current plumbing( hot water heater, toilets, sinks) made some suggestions for improvements. He was not pushy at all. He just noted what he saw and told me what the cost for the improvements would be should I decide to pursue that path. It was a really great experience. It didnt cost me as much as I had expected. I now have a new plumbing company that I feel comfortable and confident with. I highly recommend Pride Plumbing. If you are lucky, Ken might be doing your service. He is top-notch professional with a great personality for dealing with a customer who was unsure and a little spastic(that was me-lol) Thanks Pride Plumbing and an extra special Thanks to Ken!!!
