We were "mandated" by Wilmingtons Cape Fear Public Utility Water Authority to connect our home to their new water line in our neighborhood. After a terrible experience working with them and devastating expense of almost $5,000 when everything was said and done, the only nice thing about the whole experience was working with East Coast Plumbing. From the beginning they were so nice and professional and very helpful with what was a very confusing and frustrating process. They were also hundreds, and in one case thousands!, cheaper than some other companies we got quotes from. Carl was the guy in the office who was great to work with, and David was the guy in the field who was also so helpful, and both of them spoke with me multiple times over the phone during the morning of hook-up (among many other times) to make sure we avoided some extra costs and inform me of an issue that I needed to take up with CFPUA. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Best service Ive received from any business in a long time! Our business had a fairly large leak in one toilet, had a 2nd toilet that had water trickling underneath, and had a small leak in our break room sink. East Coast first of all answered the phone the first time I called. Then, they sent somebody out within hours of my call to do the diagnostics, and went ahead and fixed one toilet. They ordered the tank parts for the other toilet and the faucet that evening. The following day the came back with the new parts and installed the faucet and fixed a difficult toilet. They also responded back with an invoice and their insurance documents within the hour of my request so we have everything on file we needed per company policy. Very happy with this excellent service!

We recently purchased a new home and needed some small plumbing fixes. East Coast Plumbing & Drain was very easy to schedule, professional, prompt, and accommodating. Once on site, the guys were very knowledgeable and took the time to go above and beyond what was asked of them initially. They found a clog in our main line, which would have caused major issues down the road if left as is, and given their skill level and abilities were able to clear the line completely. Not only did they save us a lot of money, they took the time to make sure we understood what they were doing and why. I highly recommend utilizing their services and I certainly know we will again!!

Discovered we had a leak in a pipe Thursday evening, shut the water off and took a look to see if I could repair it myself. Polybutylene pipe had cracked right at a bend in the ceiling and while Im not inept at home repairs, I know enough to recognize when to call professionals. Called three plumbers and East Coast was the only place with a person answering the phone. They arrived within an hour and had the repair finished in shortly later. The work was neat, both gentlemen were courteous and I was extremely please with the price.

Had a blockage in the plumbing (Could not use toilets or sinks). Called and they said they could come between 2 and 4pm (Other plumber in the area said they were booked and they could come tomorrow which is Thanksgiving- no thank you). Received a call back in 15 minutes and they said they could be here in 30 minutes which was very much appreciated. Overall waited 1 hour for them to arrive from initial call and they had it fixed in 20 minutes. Plumber was friendly and polite. I would highly recommend!

I am a property manager and leasing agent here in Wilmington and he is our go to for all plumbing needs! Amazing customer service and always follows up. Carl is FANTASTIC! He is very clear on what he will be doing and if his crew is running behind he will call you and let you know when you should be expecting them. After hours? Not a problem. Every time I have called someone has called me back in a reasonable amount of time to see what the problem was and how they could help! THE BEST IN TOWN!!!

What a great company! My requests was handled quickly and efficiently and their services were fairly priced. The gentleman who took care of us, Nick, was very professional and pleasant to be around. Called for an emergency blockage. Initial response was ok, but then they tried to tell me my line was broken needing more expensive work. When I declined, I was charged weeks later for work that was not approved. Business has a very disreputable feel to it and I would not recommend using their services. Full details at the local Better Business Bureau site for the company under the 04/29/2015 complaint. BBB URL would be posted if Google permitted it.

Excellent Service and great prices. Our rental property in ILM had a water heater catch fire and go out. I called in to get a quote (which other companies wouldnt do until a "service call" was done) and they provided accurate and very competitive pricing. East Coast was there in hours and had replaced it same day. Super quick **Invoice was sent via email and super easy to pay. Definitely a trusted company from my end

Call these guys for any of your plumbing needs! I highly recommend. I had East Coast Plumbing do an upfit on my new barbershop and the experience was fantastic. Carl and his crew were very professional and kind everything was done correctly from the beginning. They were punctual and let me know what they were doing through the whole process. All of a sudden we didnt have hot water. Not sure what was wrong, so we call East Coast Drain Cleaning. We were worried we might have to replace the hot water heater but once they inspected it they found that the hot water heater was in good condition so they recommended that only both thermostats and elements needed to be replaced. The work was done in a courteous, timely manner and they saved us $$$.
