If there were zero stars to give, I would have given it. Had THE WORST experience with this company/owner, James. I brought down a childrens tablet (NABI 2) to be repaired by the company as my son had cracked the screen, and only the screen. I was told it would take a week to finish, cost would be $80.00. I didnt think much of it because Nabi charges $60 for replacement screens and minimal labor was needed, so $80 is about right. I presented the coupon for 20% off and was told they wouldnt honor it as it only applied to computer repairs. Should have known then that this would go sourly. I paid the full $80 upfront ($86 after tax). A week later I get a call stating that they misquoted the price and could not purchase the screen separate form the digitizer, which would cost me an additional $35. Reluctantly I agreed. They followed-up by telling me that they could not process the change until I came down and paid the additional money upfront . Really??? As a business, you cant front a $35 change fee that (1) was clearly your fault for misquoting and (2) you could hold hostage if I didnt pay.This just the beginning of continued bad business practices. But again, I went down and paid. Two weeks later I called and was told that the unit had to come from China and would be a few more days. I called the following days and was told that the screen had arrived, but I had three units for repair ahead on mine but once he got to it, it should take minutes to replace. A WEEK later I was contacted that the unit was finally ready for pick-up. I pick it up and went home, turn it on and the unit doesnt work. I call and was told to bring it back down. He confirmed that the "digitizer was faulty" and hed have to send it back to CHINA!!! (meanwhile again, this is sold by NABI domestically). He stated that the company in China would only replace it after they received faulty screen!! I told the associate that I didnt understand that, as a company, and in the interest of time, they cant just purchase the new screen and get a credit when the old one arrives. I later get a call from another associate stating that the supplier will honor the tracking number and would send the new screen in tandem. Mind you, we are in mid January. I call the company January 29, stating that Im going away on the 31st and would like it before I go. The owner told me its highly unlikely that Id get it in time, but would be done by the time I return. I return on the 7th, and you guessed it, still isnt ready. Heres the good part, I get a call on February 10th and was told that the unit STILL isnt ready but to make good on it, hed replace it with a unit hed purchased from is brother for $75. I politely declined stating that my unit was brand new when I purchased it 6 months ago. My son cracked the screen after 5 weeks and I wanted my relatively new unit back. Plus Id purchase an edition with Nickelodeon (SpongeBob) on it. The only other option was for me to wait for him to send it to NABI to replace. I told him to just refund me my money and give me back my broken unit. Ill go elsewhere. HE DECLINED. I get a call from his associate stating that hed called in the serial number from NABI and they stated that its not an nickelodeon unit... I said, just turn it on and you can see it for yourself! He stated the unit is "in pieces so he couldnt and that my only options were to take the "replacement", which wasnt comparable to what I had (an older/ non-nickelodeon unit), or wait until it comes back from NABI. So here it is - 2 MONTHS later, no tablet, wont give me a refund with my broken unit returned, and no other attempt of compensation stating that hed not "go in the red" on this repair. That the screen cost $80, meanwhile he didnt even realized the Id paid $125 + tax.... Ive couldve purchased a new unit for this price. I tried to give this "NEW COMPANY" a chance but AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. THERE ARE TOO MANY OTHER LEGITIMATE REPAIR SHOPS IN THE AREA. Horribly customer service, horrible business practices!!!

Watch the "Free diagnosis" catch if your Laptop does not need a part which they need to get you to put deposit down to order they repair it without calling 1st to see if you want it repaired so my sons Laptop had some dirt causing the Fan to malfunction once cleaned ran like a charm $71.36 please thanks NOT HAPPY!!!! All Im saying is I asked several times if it would cost "Anything" the guy said not a dime he should have made it clear that yes it does we will repair it without calling you to ask if you want repair done Free Diq/ he said he would call when he knew what was up with it instead cleaned the inside called said it was done and cost to pick it up/I most likely would have had it repaired anyway by you but dont say you will call when you know whats wrong and skip that part and the paper he said sign here its just confirming you gave me a laptop and charger

Ive used BattleGrounds for my computer needs when it becomes something that I cannot fix. And Im very tech savvy. I worked with Geek Squad at Best Buy for a few years. My older laptop was taken to them because it ran horribly no matter what I did (its nearly 8 years old now and still running great). And Ive taken two other computers to be updated as well. They answer any questions you have before, during, and after repair. They dont repair anything unless you give them permission. If it needs more than is quoted, they will call you to get the permission and tell you if there are any additional costs. Ive recommended this place to a number of friends and relatives. None of them have ever had any problems with them.

I have been with BattleGrounds for over 3 years. They are there when I need help with the computer or the programs I use, James and his staff have the know how to fix the problems that arise. They maintain my computer and my wifes Computer. They are quick to respond when I need help. I have made many requests to them over the years, and have nothing negative to say. Its always a positive experience when dealing with James , Noel and staff.

This is my favorite place to come to for my iPhone needs and computer repair as well. They are very knowledgeable and helpful and I would advise that many of the other businesses, (not just computer related) in the area take classes on business service customer relations from the entire staff !!! Whatever your question or needs, the response is courteous, quick and thoughtful. I highly recommend this place to everyone !!

I came into the store yesterday and needed a way to get wifi on my desk top computer which only had the capability of using a hard wire connection, Noel was the person to help me. He was very knowledgeable of the computer I had and what I needed to do to make the computer hook up to wifi. I would recommend anyone to these guys for sales or service, they also have some great deals on pre-owned equipment !
