For the last seven years, I have trained with Ian in his group fitness classes twice a week. His knowledge, training style and encouragement has kept me coming back year after year. My personal fitness goals are to try and stay slim while still enjoying a full life (that includes eating pizza and ice cream on the weekends), have noticeable muscle tone (that isn’t bulky) and maintain a routine that keeps my overall body and mind healthy. Ian’s classes have allowed me to achieve and maintain my goals. My favorite part of Ian’s approach is that every class is different. By presenting constantly changing workouts, I am always having to take on a new challenge, force my body to experience something new and it’s impossible for my muscle memory to get complacent. While Ian does incorporate simple tools into his classes on occasion (kettle bells, ropes, steps), he generally focuses on using your own body as the resistance. Ian cares deeply about his client’s experience and brings energy and encouragement into the gym. The group I work out with has a great time together (lots of laughing) and we challenge each other to push it to the next level.

I have been successfully working out at home for the past 15 years and for Fathers Day my wife wanted to buy me Personal Training sessions and Premier Fitness is very close to our home. After the first hour long session, I was hooked by Ians upbeat, positive and enthusiastic personality, his incredible wealth of knowledge and the precision and fine tuning he provides in order for you to maximize the exercises. Moving forward I purchased ten 30 minute personal training sessions and am now currently enjoying my second set of training sessions. Ians manner is extremely motivating and the exercises are easy to include in my routines at home. He has provided me with an exercise plan for home workouts and has even been helpful in locating the most economical places online to purchase small exercise products to facilitate my home workouts. Overall, this is the best decision Ive made regarding my physical fitness and health in a long time.

Joining Premier has been the best thing I’ve done to improve my overall level of fitness and health. Just making three 45 minute classes a week will make a huge difference in how you look and more importantly feel. It did for me. With an early and long workday I figured that working out at home was my only option, but after walking in the door I always seemed to make lazy choices, food and the couch. Luckily for me, my wife started going to see Ian and loved it so much she insisted I try a class. I haven’t looked back. Ian is an exceptional trainer with a vast knowledge of functional fitness. He enthusiasm is very motivating. The workouts are challenging, but fun. On top of that I’ve met some great people. I always look forward to it.

Ian is the real deal. I took multiple classes a week with him for two years. His classes range from getting back in shape bootcamps (a very fun but focused group atmosphere) to advanced fast pace workouts that take you the next level and beyond. He keeps things fun and fresh. He has a great attitude, dedicated and motivates you constantly. He is also knowledgeable in practicing proper form keeping you healthy and safe. And to top it off hes just a great person. Premier Fitness is the best possible combination of personalized training and reasonable fees. The small-group classes are conducted in a fun, relaxed environment but make no mistake--the exercises are focused and intensive and gets you both immediate and enduring results. Ian, the main instructor and owner, is also a wealth of fitness knowledge and eager to help his clients achieve their fitness goals. After having moved across the country, I have yet to find anything comparable to the quality of this place.

I started working out with Ian a few months before my wedding to shed a couple pounds, and definitely got my moneys worth! First off - Ian is very creative and is always changing up the workouts so I never get bored. He is also super positive and keeps me motivated with fun little comments like think about that dress! Ian also gave me some food tips and by the time of my wedding, I felt great and everyone - even my bratty sisters - asked how I got so toned. Post-wedding, Ive decided to keep going - Im hooked.

I would unconditionally recommend Ian and Premier Fitness. The workouts are fantastic, and you can tailor them to your own fitness level, which makes Premier Fitness a standout option for everyone. I got great workouts over 4 years ago when was in terrible shape and decided to fix that by training with Ian, and I continue to get great workouts today when Im in much better shape. Just as importantly, Ian also makes the workouts a lot of fun, leaving you looking forward to the next workout (and great results).

Premier Fitness does what other gyms dont-- they personalize your workout for your specific level, keep you motivated and entertained and keep you coming back for more! Ian is a terrific knowledgeable trainer who emphasizes good form and functional training. I feel strong and healthy after several months of working out there- my back doesnt hurt anymore, I can easily lift my suitcase over my head when I travel and I have more energy. What more can I ask for?
