Overly crowded with no respect for other members , People leave equiptment wherever suits them , tissues and used paper towels are always either on the floor or in the cup holders for the cardio equipment and it is absolutely disgusting . Staff i would say is pretty " arrogant " seems like they are just there for the hourly wage and do not want to actually have to work . The bathrooms are extremely grimey ( at least speaking for the mens bathroom ) No toilet paper is common , on top of clogged toilets , uneven built floors that gather merky pools of water that must sit there all day and night makes it feel like your stepping over puddles on the sidewalk after a rainy day , and of course more tissues on the ground . Handfull of members from time to time using portable speaker blasting loud rap music instead of usuing headphones and keeping it to themselves . And theres akways at least 2 pieces of equipment being serviced a week and since its a small crowded gym , that really does get in the way and add up to where your finding it becoming a consistent problem . punching bags are also never available since they are in the same room as the yoga / dance classss and forbids anyone from entering and using them at their convienance , you can either use them at 6 am when the gym opens ( if there isnt a 6 am yoga class ) . Or nearly every night past 9:30 which arent great times in my opinion for that kind of workout and this has been this way 24/7 since the gyms opened . The punching bags bags need to be accessed by anyone anytime!!! It is a hugeeeee cardio element thats being closed off Overall rating 1. Cleanliness 1/5 3. Access to all equipment 2/5 4. Community 2.5 /5 5 membership cost for service 1/5 Never having toilet paper earns a solid 1 . That is so simple and should never have to be addressed at the front desk .

I came in through the front door as usual and scanned my key chain and went straight to the elliptical not more than 2 minutes pass and I get an email saying I got charged for $5 Miscellaneous charge. I approach the guy at the front desk and ask about the charge. He said I was not allowed at this La Fitness because of my all-city membership, but instead of telling me at the desk he decided to just charge me extra without my consent. I asked why he didnt tell me and he said that his computer was too slow to process it before I walked 15 feet behind him on an elliptical and instead of approaching me he decided to just charge me. I tell him thats not fair because there was no consent and he said "I have the power to charge anyone extra money regardless of consent". Lol so I ended up speaking to two different sales consultants with no solution to my membership not being valid at that gym unless I pay $117 extra one time charge to avoid extra $5 charge. I have to pay 20x the amount to avoid $5? Thats ridiculous. Bottom line - this LA Fitness claims they care about fitness and their members health, but they have a funny way of showing it - instead they just continue to charge and demand more money for unjust reasons. Overall bad customer experience.

My wife received a phone call today from Pedro who actually asked to speak with my 14 year old daughter. He did not identify that he was calling from LA Fitness. My wife repeatedly asked who he was and why he wanted to speak with my daughter. After asking him repeatedly he stated he was calling from the gym. My wife handed the phone over to me andI asked him since when can 14 year old kids sign up for gym contracts, his answer was Ill remove her name. Here is what really upset me a minute later he called again and asked to speak with my daughters friend, I asked to speak with the manager, Ricky told me Ill remove their names from our calling list,Thats it! Did both of them look at their age, did they not see that a parent had to sign a waiver? I took both my daughter and her friend to the gym with a guest pass, the person at the desk gave me a hard time to let them use the facilities even though I had the guest passes and I called. I was asked to sign a waiver. The gym would not let them in unless accompanied by an adult and now Pedro is calling to talk to them. Why is Pedro calling and asking to talk to minors? I am furious and I want answers. I want to speak to the president, CEO or anyone but the manager.

Ok so I signed up about 2 years ago when it recently opened. Everything was brand new and it was good. For a long period of time i dont think they cleaned the place or the bathrooms. A lot of people go to this place after work which is the worst time to go. The least they can do is keep it clean. There are weights everywhere and the staff is just there to scan your id. There is no sense of community or involvement of the staff and as long as people keep coming in I dont think la fitness cares. Only recently after people started complaining in person and online that they started cleaning a bit and even that is not enough. But its way to late for me, I rather take my membership somewhere else. Too bad, it looked like it had a lot of promise.

Went with a guest pass really didnt want to sign up and flat out told the guy Im only there to use the guest pass and workout with my boyfriend but he was rude!!! I WAS interested in joining cause its on the website that you can be added onto a families plan for $25 initiative $29 every month so I was going to join on my boyfriends plan and the staff member told me it was wrong and to pull it up on my phone for what, proof? Its on the website, read what your company says! I was wasting my time I even told him Im not trying to look through the website right now. Also the staff at front desk were talking with each other, I couldve walked in without even having to tell them I was a guest.

This is my favorite of all the LA Fitness in the area, but its becoming clear that the staff doesnt upkeep the facility. There are footstraps missing from the bikes, and the bikes tend to have bad electronics that cut out. The sauna has been out for almost a month while all it needs is a heating element replaced. Without the pools and sauna, it might as well be planet fitness and we pay a lot more for those amenities. They should be fixed within days, not weeks.many patrons plan on writing to corporate about this.

I was interested in signing up for personal training. However the sales person doesnt know how to talk to customers. He is rude. I was very well ready to commit for 6 months but he kept insisting for 12 months. I had not told him but I was actually ready to pay 3 or 6 months in advance. If the way he spoke to me. There are a couple la fitness or gyms around in the area I can take my business. Although he mentions he cares about customers health I think he cares for his commission
