I had never heard of the term "HACK JOB" until I had a professional mechanic tell me that this was the kind of work done to my car, which this sleeze ball sold me. I thought being a mechanic and owning a shop, he would make sure his crew would do a good solid job at repairing the car before selling it. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Sal, the one of the owners assured me that if anything went wrong with the car -- to bring it in and he would take care of it. I followed his instructions and nothing was taken care of such as: engine overheating, heat and ac not working. I took it into the Audi dealership and this is a list of repairs that had to be done (verbatim): (Note: this should have been taken care of by SALs Autobody) * Vehicle in heavy front end collision, EXTREME hackery to hold front end of vehicle on. * Bumper heavily damaged and GLUED TOGETHER * Vehicle mounts split in half, engine sliding around I had to pay for the following + maintenance: * Repair Kit * Water Pump * Core Return * Cool. Add. * Thermostat * Seal Ring = $18898.oo Additional parts that had to be replaced, but thankfully they were under warranty. Note: If you know cars, you will know how much these parts can add up. * Camshaft * Valve * Cap * Cam Follow * Gaskets * Sealant * Tensioner * Fitting Other additional parts: Fuel Filter Cabin Air Filter Hood tensioner -- as it NEVER WORKED THIS SORRY EXCUSE OF AN AUTO BODY REPAIR SHOP -- Knew very well of these issues, but still sold me the car. Its known that before buying a used car -- that one should bring an auto mechanic or have it looked at. I figured that buying a car from an Auto Body shop would be a wise choice because Sal had me convinced that if there is anything wrong with the car to bring it in. His shop has one of the laziest office crew, every time I called, Stephanie would tell me that he was out and to call back. Hmmm, As a professional, if you work in an office and answer the phone, I would think the professional thing to do is take a message and pass it on to the owner or mechanic. Perhaps my expectations are too high for a small business in Staten Island. BEFORE TAKING YOU CAR IN TO HAVE IT REPAIRED, ASK YOURSELF...WHY ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS AND ARE THEY LEGIT OR ARE THEY LISTED FROM FRIENDS OF THEIRS? SAVE TIME, MONEY, LOWER YOUR STRESS, BE SMART AND TAKE YOUR CAR AND OR BUY ELSEWHERE. THE CAR WAS LISTED AS "LIKE NEW". LIKE NEW IS NOT A RELATIVE TERM!!

The Worst!! They dont deserve a star!! On 8/9/17. Approximately 7:49am i had a flat tire on Korean War Veterans Parkway, i called my roadside assistance and out of no where L&S Towing DCA#1129705 license plate #24000-tt approached my vehicle stating i have to pay $160.00. I refused to pay and tried to explain to him roadside assistance is on the way he stated i dont care who is coming this is my fxxcking highway and i will get there vehicle impond. He then called another L&S Tow truck and both of them boxed me i then called 911 as i feared for my life, i had to pull my car back into traffic as he attempted to hook my car to his tow chain with me sitting in my car without permission. as i ask for his name he refused and told me to call company..As soon as the police arrive both of them drove off..this is a city contract that should be revoked!!!

Was recommended from a friend to take my car there. I was hit by a deer and had damage to the hood,fender, and door. After the work was done I could see the hood was filled with bondo as the same with the drivers door. Not what I asked for. Also had overspray inside door jam. Took car back and requested a new hood also to fix door lock and remove overspray. They replaced hood but door was the same way and never put back the door panel correctly. I had to redo myself. The door still has an outward crease that still is visable. The car is now in nj at a professional body shop and they couldnt believe the job that was done. Being I did this work years ago is probably why I can spot all the botched up repairs. Will never use them again

A month ago i had a accident with my bmw and i called L&S collision and their tow truck arrived really fast, within minutes. The driver was also a really nice guy and the owners, Leo and Sal are the nicest people i have ever met. They helped me out with getting a rental vehicle within 30 minutes. When i received my bmw back after being repaired, you couldnt even tell where the car was even hit. I couldnt ask for a better experience at an auto repair shop. i hope i dont get into another crash, but if i do i will definitely go back to L&S auto collision. i recommend their shop to everybody.

I have had a great experience with L & S Collision. I recommend them very highly for any auto and body mechanical work that you may need. I also had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from them and I am very happy and satisfied with my vehicle.The owners are the best people you will meet. Very cordial and friendly and if the part you need is not in stock, they will go out of their way to find for you. The staff is also cordial and friendly. By the time you leave, you will feel like you are a part of their family.

L & S Collision was very proffesional and efficient. They repaired my 2013 VW Passat in a timely matter. They had alot of certifications for many cars which made me feel secure in having them repair my vehicle. My car was mangled in an accident and they made the repairs to look just like it did when I first purchased my vehicle. I would highley recommend

Was recommended from an old friend and this place Im telling you is awesome. The manager Kevin took my car so fast that I didnt have to wait at all , also I received their SUV for rental and signed the papers in 10 min I was on my way back to work again! After 2 days picked up my car like brand new . So happy with this place!
