Rude. I had my first experience here today and it was not a pleasant one. The line was extremely long, which would have been fine if the service made up for it. It did not. I waited on the long line with my boyfriend who had a question about how much shipping would be for a certain item. Jimmy was the employee who "helped us." This man was incredibly rude and acted as though we must be the dumbest people in the world to be asking such questions. I could not get over how this man acted. He did not help us with anything and I had to instead ask a series of questions until I was able to pull some useful information out of him. After our question, we were told to address the package and get back in line. Usually, I would have already addressed the package but since we had a question that ultimately led to us not using the envelope we had picked up that would have been a waste and I had considered this beforehand. So back in line we went to wait out turn AGAIN. We were helped by someone who was not as horrible as Jimmy, but I have to say that while observing from the line, I witnessed a good amount of rude behavior towards the customers. Conclusion: The people who work here are rude and unpleasant. Avoid Jimmy. And know exactly what you are doing or prepare to wait in line twice.

Ugh, I can see why FedEx and UPS are thriving while post offices are shutting down. I came here intending to buy a box for my gift and mail it, but all of the boxes are locked away in a glass cabinet. All of the employees were behind the window, so I asked one of the customers at the window if I could ask the employee a quick question, and he kindly let me. But the employee told me they only had 2 kinds of boxes left, and both of them were too big and very ugly. I asked what about the gift boxes in the glass case (and there were like 3 boxes in the size that I wanted), but the employee said I couldnt have any of the ones in the case. WTF?!? Whats the point of having so many different types of boxes locked in a glass case if you only have 2 of them that are available to customers? Probably shouldve gone to the UPS Store in Sunnyside instead. The employee was really rude to me too and acted like I was a great nuisance to her for asking a simple question. This place needs to shut down!

I feel like the only 3 people who arent rude is the supervisor and one of the ladies at the window (dont know her name but shes light skin grey/white hair) and one of the guys. everyone else is always rude. They get an attitude when you ask about prices and what packaging to use. Its ridiculous, you are working at a post therefore its your job to provide info. Its like working at a cellphone store and getting mad when customers ask about phones. If it werent for those 3 wonderful people I would seriously consider another form of sending mail. Im not sure if they are always like that or if they are going through home problems but please lighten up. If Im politely asking there is no need for aggressive behavior.

This place is not really helful, usually one of the guy helps me out with step of the process and is really patient with me but i went there last time and the women that works there literally wasnt willing to help and said that the line was long so I would have to figure it out by myself. I am an ebay seller and it was my second visiting this place after a year and I am displeased with their service this time. Why only 2 employees on the counter for a busy morning ? They think to rethink of how to run a postal office. People are not trying to spend there whole mornings there.

The staff members are wonderful here. Theyre helpful and friendly. Always throwing that big smiles. Theyve gone through major improvements and have proved that they listened. Its a pleasure to do business here. Processing and picking up mails have been less headache. Theres a self-service machine to do the mailing and theres a bin to drop off mails as well. The line can be long but this is not entirely because the staff is slow. The customers should try to fill-in the form prior to go to the window too. Also they can try using the self-service machine - save a lot of time!

I sent a package certified mail from this location on May 19th 2017 as of today June 5, 2017 the package has not arrived to its destination which is New York, NY. This has cost my husband a job the paperwork had to be in place as of May 30th, 2017. Id give it Zero Stars if I could. I contacted the Post Office, they ask for the tracking number, placed me on hold from 4:10pm and its 5:26pm the person never came back to the phone. They should all lose their jobs.

They consistently lose my mail, and they will not help me when I complain about it. They promised to have my mail carrier call me back (after I called three times), but nobody has contacted me. I have zero trust in their ability to do their jobs effectively. Also the line is also quite long and slow at this location. If it were a private company and not the government sponsored USPS, they would all be fired.

Stuff are really nice and respectful. This 3 stars review is all about inconvenience about their broken Verizon internet. Honestly I do not care about Verizons internet connection or anything it shouldnt be my problem. If this connection problems happen at least 3 times a week and you are asking cash from your customer it means something you have to change! then please change your company!!!!!!!

This post office is ok its not perfect but they get the job done. You have a few regular nice employees that work here and I always seem to get that one nice woman that works there haha. What I at least like about this location is that they have more service windows!(as opposed to the one I normally go to in S.Ozone park which only has three but only two are open...)

Staff is rude, it did not help me understand how to mail my package properly, and tried to over changing me. I now understand why the Postal Service is going down and UPS is going up. I ship a lot of packages and UPS is far better than United States Postal Service. Never had a problem with UPS.

I got a great service that day. I was there to send my cousins transcripts to CUNY Transfer/Admission Office. The man behind the window( I dont remember his name) was very nice and friendly to me. Probably I got the nicest person there. Hope everyone of them will be that helpful to all.

Usually going to the post office in NYC is stressful, but I had an amazing experience here in my last visit and decided to post this review. The cashier was extremely nice, and she even saw my name on the return address and called me by my name! And, there was no line, which is rare.
