Computer Emergency Room was hired to fix certain Wi-Fi issues we had at my commercial building. Instead of fixing the issues, they made the matters worse by installing grossly inadequate equipment, not providing me any receipts for equipment they purportedly bought on my behalf, billing me for hour after hour for three months while trying to "fix" the very wrong equipment they installed, improperly configuring the equipment they installed, not providing me the correct credentials for the equipment when asked, and not providing me with simple solutions that might have alleviated some of the internet issues during their three months in the building. This company took no responsibility for their gross negligence. Their subpar performance has killed the reputation of my building where tenants have stayed away because of the poor Wi-Fi in the building, and has forced me to answer tens of complaints from tenants including threats to withhold rent, bring an action against me, etc. When asked for a refund, they flatly refused, answering "Will be happy to see you in court".

Im surprised at the negative reviews. Ive been using CER for several years to maintain and repair various laptops. I started with an Acer laptop, later moved to Dell (which I hated), and now have an E-machines. CER has removed viruses from all my machines at one time or another, and their service has always been prompt and reasonably priced. My laptops come back clean and carefully handled. I especially appreciate their patience and professionalism with someone who is just computer-literate enough to get myself into trouble. Once, when my husbands lab chewed through the cord of my laptop and shorted out the hard drive entirely, they were able to retrieve the information off it, including several novels, family photos and other important, irreplaceable files, and save them to discs for me. I recommend CER wholeheartedly, and will continue to do business with this local company for as long as I own a computer. Rejoicing in the day, -Mary Schneider

This company was VERY non professional and had poor quality service. They have no interest in actually helping you and if they break your phone/computer in the process of trying to fix it (which happened to me) they will not compensate you what so ever. They will say tough and leave you worse of then you were beforehand. They took no responsibility of their own actions and theyre manager was the worst out of the whole crew. Overall, dont use these guys EVER because they are not intelligent with dealing with technology and have the WORST customer service that i have ever seen. PLEASE dont give this company your business.

I just recently took my computer there for a specific problem and after having it home for one day the problem is still there, I picked the computer up, brought it home and discovered a multitude of dirty fingerprints all over it along with scratches where they layed in on an uncushioned surface -- I find this to be very unprofessional! -- very dissatisfied!

I took my laptop to repair a keyboard. They could not find a replacement part. Cost me $30 for them to figure that out. I cant say it was unfair since they did some work, but I also cant say that I felt that it was worth the $30 to have someone tell me they cant fix it. So the jury is still out in my opinion.

Do not go here. I took my partially broken phone in for repair and they returned it completely unusable with no display working and they took no responsibility for it.
