First of all, they want $65 for a bleach treatment that takes 4 hours. Instead, I bought one from inside walmart for $8 that takes 30 minutes. As for my haircut, I provided a picture of the hairstyle I wanted. The stylist had said she had never seen that style before, although its pretty common. The style required short layering on top, getting progressively longer to the bottom, and thinning in the back. It also required texturizing. She didnt layer it well, the top layers were too long, and she did not use texturizing scissors at all. The bangs were tapered in the picture, but she cut mine flat. She then attempted to style it like the picture, but failed miserably. After she was done, she thanked me for "letting her experiment" and charged me $35. Now Im stuck trying to fix it myself until I can see a better salon. DO NOT COME HERE. The stylists do not seem to have any real training. I think the certificates hanging on the mirrors are fake.

i was spoken to and treated so rudely by maci and crystal the store manager that i will never go back! i urge anyone who is considering to try them themselves to go else where. they over charge and their work is of poor qualitythey will not help when a service has not worked out to you the clients who have paid good money! they ruined my moms hair so badly she is embarassed to go out and it will take weeks to grow out properly. they refused to help me out when i couldnt get back there quick enough to remedy a shoddy job of a perm due to sickness.they are of low quality and inconsiderate to those who have paid for services that are not up to par. please think twice before subjecting yourselves to this poor treatment!

I have been going to the vestal Wal-Mart smart style for 3 years now. I have never received rude treatment, or been over charged. The only time I got a bad haircut was when there was a new girl that just didnt cut it short enough... She did not stay long either, since she was gone the next time I came back about a month later. Maci has done most of my cuts is the stylist I prefer since she actually listens and does what I ask. Mind that I never really know what I want when I walk In, so she also is a good listener on the go! I would recommend this location any day.

I would not recommend this place to any one they tried charging me a dollar a minute to get a snarl out which happens when you wash it and its curls on you went to get it cut and the store manger asked one of the girls in a rude way is all her hair like that the women said no just this part and shes like I want you to sign this saying you will pay her a dollar a minute to get that out I handed it back to her and walked out she was so rude

Very poor customer service and low quality haircuts. Employees are very outright rude and nasty to you and does not even know how to do haircuts according to customers requests/instructions. Please train your employees how to do haircuts and treat customers properly. If you dont wanna be treated poorly and waste your money, do not come here.
