If I could rate this zero stars, I would. Ive had so many issues with this post office and I cannot believe how poorly it is run. I ordered two packages from the same retailer online. On Jan 31st one of those packages was delivered but the other was not. I thought this was weird so I checked tracking info which indicated that my second package was at the post office and available for pickup. I was given no indication from my carrier and if I would not have checked my tracking info online, I would never have known. I contacted the office to make sure my package was there before wasting my time driving to the post office and having the package not actually being there (this has happened to me in the past). I explained the situation to the gentleman that answered the phone and he seemed like he couldnt have cared less. There was no apology, no "Let me see how I can help you". All he said to me was "hang on" and transferred me, cold, to another woman who I then had to explain the whole situation to, again. This woman put me on hold a researched my situation for a short time. She came back to tell me that she couldnt find the package and that she would take my name and number and look into this further. After a couple days I contacted the office again as I had yet to hear anything. I spoke with another gentleman, who I had to explain the entire situation to again. After a brief hold he indicated that he couldnt find the package and that he would try to contact my carrier to see what was going on. I was asked for my name and number and was told that I would hopefully be called back within an hour and be given an update. This call was at 9:45am...I never heard back from the post office that day. The following morning I decided to call back to try and get an update. I spoke with someone different...again, and had to explain my situation...again. The office had no case file, or information about what I had been calling them about for days now. The gentleman put me on hold for a few minutes and when he returned he told me that he was contacting the carrier to see what was going on. He told me that the carrier said he would stop by my house and talk to me about the package. When I asked what could he possibly talk to me about, he said the carrier would ask what the package looked like and how big was it. I told the employee that it was a small/medium cardboard box, like 90% of the packages that they deliver. Also theres a very likely chance that this box would have my name on it along with the 22 digit tracking number that Ive now provided to the post office three times. I was told that the carrier would also be stopping at my house around 3pm. I indicated to the employee that I work and no one is going to be home to speak to the carrier about this. Also, I am not sure why I need to play detective with the carrier about my missing package. I then asked the employee what the plan was to resolve this. He let me know that he would take my name and number and look into this further. When I told him that I’ve already given my info to the post office twice and that no one has contacted me or made record of the issue, he informed me that this was only the first time that I spoke with him about it. I asked why this matter hadn’t made it to the Post Master yet and I was informed that she was not in the office. The gentleman informed me that if they were unable to locate my package then I would have to file a claim with the post office. I went to file a claim online and was unable to so because I had not purchased insurance or my specific tracking number was not eligible for a claim. So here I stand, unsure of how to proceed and trying to figure out how I can avoid USPS going forward.

Ive never in my life met ruder (lazier) employees in my life! Ill never forget, it was during Christmas and it was super busy and after my transaction, I asked if she could make change for a $20.00 bill for me and she said "no". Which was insane because her cash was overflowing out of her drawer. She obviously would have had zero problems breaking a 20 for me so I questioned her logic or lack of it. And she nastily dismissively said "we dont give change." Keep in mind its Christmas, I was smiling, totally in the spirit of the Holidays and my 6 year old daughter was standing right next to me listening to the whole conversation. A heated conversation ensued and I just couldnt believe how rude and nasty this woman was beginning for no reason, the day before Christmas Eve in front of a crowed. The next thing I remember, I loudly admonished her behavior, made her give me a full refund, took her name (I think it was Shirley or something like that) and told her I was going to the bank and coming back with a bag full of pennies for her to complete my transaction a second time and see how much longer shes stuck here! I grabbed my packages and on the way out the doo the whole post office cheered! Im never seen someone turn redder and runaway for the back room faster. I still patron that post office (only because the next closest is 10 miles away) and Ive never had the pleasure of seeing her face again. Next, why is there not a post office on Main St in the Village of Williamsville? 500 hair salons, no post office and they closed down the Keybank. And last but not least.... The employees on Sheridan drive are the laziest, rudest, most infuriating employees in Buffalo, maybe all of NY! This is a constant example: There will be 11 customers in line, tapping there toes, while there is an employee at every station, but only 1 will be helping costumers. The old, heavyset, brunette, is always looking for tape or talking to another coworker 2 stations away, while we all stand there staring her down. Which has no effect on her! Ive been going to this location for over 10 years (even when it was on the other side) and that woman is there 9 out of 10 times and I have only been cashed out by her twice. And seen her help other customers MAYBE 5xs! Hand to God! Now you go to Cayuga Creek all the employees are tattooed head to toe, fast, helpful, smiling! If they dont like what they do why do they do it? Slowly no less! Spreading there misery! Please send some secret shoppers in and see for yourself! Someones always looking for the tape!

Theres a woman who seems to be the manager here. Shes outright RUDE, OBNOXIOUS and almost impossible to deal with when shes at the counter waiting on customers. She goes out of her way to be difficult and unhelpful to everyone. Its one of the worst personality disorders Ive ever come across in a person! Its people like her working for the USPS whove made the USPS almost insolvent. CRETINS like her are most likely why the invention of email is considered such a blessing. Its not that shes as fat as a whale, slovenly and never washes the pile of grease on her head thats usually known on most humans as hair. Thats not the problem, especially since shes usually too far away to smell her dirty clothes or her breath. However, shell yell out RUDELY to people on line, and she turns any question you might have into an unnecessary hassle with her incredibly NASTY and OBTUSE attitude. If it werent for the other wonderful, VERY helpful, VERY hard working and VERY friendly employees at this branch, Id travel the extra 6 to 10 minutes to the airport branch instead. When you ask about this troll at any of the other USPS branches anywhere within the Western NY State area, shes VERY well known. Everyone and their mother within the WNY area who works for the USPS seems to have heard of her. They roll their eyes and appear to be very happy that they dont have to work with her when one mentions her name. How someone like this could possibly still be employed by the USPS is outright incredible. Bad management usually sets the tone for any type of establishment, but all of the other employees at this USPS location seem to set their own positive tone despite this person.
