I dropped my laptop off in September, 2016, they said it would be done in a couple weeks (just asked him to backup my data and wipe the harddrive). It is now January and they still have it. They have not kept any communication with me. I was calling once per week to get updates on how it was going and they told me I didnt have to and they would call me. A month went by without hearing from them so I called again, the owner contacted me to apologize for their lack of communication and said he would do everything to get it back to me ASAP. Another three weeks after that conversation theyre still telling me it will be done "this afternoon" or "tomorrow" or "by the weekend"... An entire seasons worth of work Ive missed because of their lack of expertise, communication and organization. I am appalled with their lack of customer service and overall unprofessionalism. I chose Parks computers to support a local repair shop. I will never return again and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if things are not settled in an appropriate manner soon. Dont waste your time and money at Parks Computers, there are many other repair shops much more worth your time and effort. I will revise this review if my laptop is ever returned to me.

The Best IT Service Ever I have been working with Ryan Parks for more than 15 years, and he makes my business run. He is expert and skilled and can always figure out problems. When computers fail, I send my laptops back to him rather than work with a local provider. I have read the negative posts, and I disagree with the harsh assessments. Ryan runs his company like a business - extremely professionally, but works in a difficult industry. People contact him when they are experiencing technology failures, which is obviously a stressful time as it compromises their work processes. However, it is unfair to slander Ryan due to having unreasonably high expectations. Your computers will die, both after several years of use or unexpectedly. You will have virus issues occasionally, and software will be difficult to figure out. Ryan is a miracle worker, but he cant save everything. He also books out with service calls and planned work, because he is excellent. If you have to wait for his time, it is 100% worth it.

1 review 1.0 star rating 8/18/2016 I was having issues with determining best way to connect several monitors to port with limited capabilities. The owner, whom I spoke to on phone, was extremely courteous. However he left and the tech that helped me had to literally piece together a solution from parts he had in back and next door, curtly told me what to buy, and charged me for half hour of repair. After leaving the shop to go to big box store (what I wanted to avoid) I realized he oversimplified his solution. I had to spend considerable more time determining solution. Would have appreciated more thorough answer and professionalism from their tech. Last time I will be there.

I recently bought a laptop from Ryan. He spent considerable time with me to determine what I needed, which was considerably less price wise, than what I thought. But when I wanted more, he offered me a price less than the box stores for the same item. And he removed all the programs I didnt want while installing his maintenance package and my data. Only had it two weeks, but so far very happy. One minor issue, if you arent a major client, everything takes at least twice as long as he promises.

They will try to make your computer have problems it didnt before you brought it in SERIOUSLY I had a computer that apparently they killed the hard drive in there when it was working fine when I brought it and swap my charger with a broken one and then claimed it didnt work. I dont recommend them at all.

Owner was nice on the phone, however I wasnt 100% confident in technicians diagnosis. Unfortunately they dont carry much stock in store so he was "testing" a solution with borrowed parts. I then had to go to Best Buy to purchase what he suggested and it did not work.
