Ok..so I dropped off a very important dress for cleaning, they did an absolutely beautiful job cleaning it...then I misplaced it. Ut-oh, cant find it, freaking out...called the store did I leave months ago? No, they had very precise records that I did pick it up, how I paid for it, they probably could have told me what I wearing when I picked it up! I phoned them twice and both times they were very understanding and kind to me. Wow! Excellent customer service. Turns out I did find my dress, not in its designated location in my closet but folded and put away in forever packaging, what a relief to find her! Thank you so much for your help, kindness and thorough records. I think I will be making notes of where I put things of importance to me...

Ive been using A Cleaner World for about 2 years and have loved it - its a bit pricey - but the service is friendly and efficient. They always have my clothes ready on time, and have done small alterations just as requested. Only thing I was dissatisfied with was some cotton shirts still looking a bit wrinkly - but that was straightened out when I said I wanted a finer, more starched, look. They have a drop off in my town (Blowing Rock) - which I havent used just because Im in Boone quite a bit, and there is an extra fee I believe. But, have to say they are the best Ive used since moving here.

I went into A Cleaner World this morning to take my cleaning. I witnessed a horrible exchange between staff members - a male staff member SCREAMED at the girl at the counter for no reason at all. I thought he was going to hit her, instead he slammed something down and made a terrible racket. I was really scared he was going to hit her. The girl looked at him and said "Im done." and left. Good for her. I wouldnt work there either. If this is how staff is going to be allowed to act, imagine how our clothes are going to be handled. I turned around and left without leaving my clothes.

Do not use their laundry drop off service under any circumstances! I paid $60 to have a ton of laundry done because I was between trips out of time & wouldnt have the time to do it myself. What I got back wasnt worth $10. Its clear they threw them in the washer, tossed them in the dryer, damn near balled up the clothes rather than made any attempt to fold them and threw them in a bag to return to me. They took no care in maintaining the shape of the clothes and everything is horribly wrinkled. A trash job if ever there was one.

I agree with Michael. The Web site is deceiving, and their Wild Wednesdays are very hit and miss, in terms of actually receiving the discount. The employees dont bother to really tell you this. Their motto is something to the effect of "Every button on the shirt when you drop off, every button on when you pick up." Suffice to say, Im definitely missing some buttons now. On the bright side, they are fast. Whatcha gonna do?

Just had an awesome experience at your store with DJ. When picking up for the first time, he took the time to explain to me the "Wild Wednesday" specials and gave me a magnet as a reminder. He also gave me a Frequent Cleaner Club card and invited me to come back again. Excellent customer service, if everyone is as good as DJ, you have a customer for life!

3 stars because my husbands suit was pressed perfectly and done in such short notice for a funeral. But assistant manager definitely needs costumer service training. If I dont have to deal with her then Ill be back. Shes just flat out rude.

Just avoid this place totally!!! They will ruin your precious clothes. Bad customer service and unfriendly. There are other options for dry cleaning in Boone, go anywhere but here.

It was expensive for poor work. Static filled my item when I get it back, lint was coming off of it over and over, etc. I would definitely suggest Mountaineer Cleaners instead.
