Expert cut my rigs CPU temp by half, and had it back to me in less then two hours Excellent customer service and hardware and product knowledge. I am a tech and rarely use such services but did not have the time to reset an expensive aftermarket cpu cooling fan on a rig I had built a few years back whose temps were running high. Since setting this particular Cooler Master onto what at that time was a pretty expensive CPU (i7 2600K @ $318) was probably the most frustrating and nail biting part of the build I just wanted to go in and have it done and preferably with no overnight. So they removed the Cooler Master-cleaned out any collected dust and grease, reapplied thermal paste and reset/fit the cooler correctly back onto the CPU as agreed and at a very fair price. Then they went above and beyond and realigned the case cover back on correctly to insure it was a snug fit. That required a few screws and some alignment. The case cover panel was a mess when I brought it in, and I fully expected to get it back again a mess. But I did not which was a nice positive. Another above and beyond was they rechecked temp in bios. I had given them the temp specs I had that made me decide to bring the rig in. The temps were brought down a full 25 degrees! Under full Load it goes up maybe 10 degrees-tops. I don’t think I ever was getting the full benefits of the aftermarket fan-I think I did not install it fully/correctly. Thus it’s like I just got a new rig! Finally, they were able to get it back to me in less than two hours! That’s just not heard of anymore. In fact it is one of the principle reasons I was on the fence with bringing it on. I am glad I went to Expert, and they restored my faith in local computer repair after it had been badly damaged by Intrex a few years back. It is nice to support a local small business like Xpert and given the option between big box store service repair I would pick Xpert any day of the week and twice on Sunday

Not to discredit the company on there overall service. And to summarize my poor experience. 1) Accidently severed a game unit controller 2) Xpert Computer Repair and Service said they could fix it - Soldering job 3) Received it back in a day 4) I paid for the service and was offered to return if there were any problems 5) Tested controller that same hour, it didnt work so I returned 6) Person who offered for me to return, didnt even take a look at the job before telling me that he couldnt do anything about it 7) After asking for the company to at least unscrew the unit so I could see if something was possibly unplugged - nothing was unplugged or broke inside - I called ubreakifix the following day 8) UBREAKIFIX - quickly found out that it was poorly done - soldering and insulating job 9) They said theyd look it over before charging to see if they could fix it. 10) They did fix it in a days time, and they tested to insure that it in fact worked before changing me. And they too offered if anything went wrong with that unit to return and theyd take a look. (I dont have to return because the unit works now - even though I appreciate the professionalism and commitment to a job well done) I dont appreciate one bit the way I was treated and cared for by Xpert Computer Service and Repair. I was in fact just used for essentially an unearned buck. I hope that you all XCS&R, learn to treat all your customers with the full degree of respect and professionalism they deserve. Thats my review for you all.

I have a Gateway tower computer that ran Vista and had a decent graphics card for gaming. It was past warranty period and Gateway didnt want to help any further. It was blue screening and I spent many hours trying to restore it. I also disabled the graphics card after learning that the fan was broken. I work with computers every day and know how to debug most issues. This blue screen issue was over my head so I took it in to Mike. He suggested that we go with Windows 7 64 bit and replace the defective hard drive. I was more than happy to discard Vista and at the same time fix the Blue Screen problem. Mike also set me up with a replacement graphics card that far exceeded what was there before. All this at a reasonable price - lower than what BestBuy or other big box stores offer. When I got it home, it was better but still experienced some blue screen issues. After calling Mike, I brought it back and he checked it out again and got back to me that day. It was the mother board. Mike agreed to replace the mother board at his own expense and worked with me on several occasions to get things just right in terms of settings. I will not hesitate to go the Xpert Computer Service & Repair if needed in the future. I only regret that I didnt take my computer sooner and save myself a lot of time.

I found your business through a neighbor, and now I am VERY glad that the place I used to go to went out of business! Otherwise, I never would have ventured over to your door... I went to our neighborhood website and asked if any of my neighbors could recommend a new place for me to use - and thats how I found XPert. I had a laptop that I couldnt determine what was wrong, and when I walked into XPert they were able to look at it right away while I stood there. I had picked up a virus, and Mike was able to fix my computer and return it to me in just a couple of hours. The previous place that I went to would have take a day or two before they could even look at my computer and call me back... I was so happy with both the prices and the quality of their service, that I brought my netbook back with me when I picked up my original laptop - and had them work on that as well to speed it up. Again, very good prices compared to what I was formerly paying. Not only will XPert Computer Services be my only computer-repair resource, I am sending out an email to all my neighbors via our website to refer them on. Finding XPert has certainly made my life easier!

I have know John Habers and John Lanzer and the other guys at Xpert for a few years now. They are the GO TO place for anything with computers, laptops or IT needs. They are incredibly knowledgeable for anything computer related. I can always trust what they tell me and being a small business owner in the same sort of industry (mobile phone repair), I am VERY happy to have a place I can recommend my customers to with computer problems where I know they will be treated the same as I would treat them. Real customer service and honesty is something that doesnt exist much anymore in this world and its great to see businesses who still believe that making the customer happy and knowing your craft are the most important things to be successful.

The people at EXPERT Computer have helped me with my business for a few years now. When I started my business I knew how to turn a computer on and that was it. They worked with me to get the best programs for my needs and have helped every step of the way with any problem that I have had. I have crashed a few times from overloading and a virus and they were able to restore my client data when I was in a state of panic! They did it quickly and let me know that I was not out of business for long. I am getting ready to move onto Windows 7 guys so expect to see me soon! It is really nice to know you can depend on honest people these days to truly help without feeling like you are being taken advantage of.
