This is the 2nd time I contacted Vellve systems for help & cant be more happier with results AGAIN!!!! 1st time I just needed to wipe off my old lap top that wasnt being used for years and just needed to bring it back to its workable condition - which was done in a time promised by Alex with very reasonable price. 2nd time, for some odd reason my lap top stopped working(bios & it wouldnt respond to ANYTHING), after diagnostic at Vellves I was told HD is fried and all my data is lost. All the documents/invoices/bank statements & way more for both of my biz are gone along with my precious 2 year old daughters pictures and videos of her first 2 years of life( I had some of them stored in my other devices but not all of them). Alex fixed my lap top by replacing its hard drive to a new one, which I picked up at the time when it was promised to me, but I was out of all my very important data, after going back and forth of different options I agreed for Alex to recover my data. He advised he had to order specific parts and it will take about 2 weeks, I just picked up my hard drive from his shop today with all my data and most importantly with all of my daughters pics and videos & I cant be happier to have my life back & most importantly my daughters memories. Very well knowledgeable individual, he and his office staff are very friendly and helpful, have great communications & always gets the job done by the time promised.

Todays workforce nearly entirely revolves around technology of some kind--the base of which is the computer that acts as the brain of the operation. In our office, the employees are on their computers for 90% of the work that goes into each and every project. This means hours and hours every week where we depend on our computers, the internet, and our server in order to get the job done. We are a commercial property appraisal company and so were handling a lot of sensitive, client information. Not only do we depend on our computers to work properly but we also depend on our server to back up our files and run smoothly 24/7. If the server goes down, we go down. Thats where Vellve Systems comes in. It is so important to have someone knowledgeable and trustworthy on your team. For us, thats Vellve Systems; they take every call, answer each question, and make it a personal goal to fix every problem in a timely manner. Some weeks they are making house calls to our office twice a day--making sure that all of our systems are in working order and up to date. We have had a great experience with Vellve Systems and appreciate their attention to detail, their customer service, and pride in what they do. Even for small jobs, password changes, new computer set ups, Vellve Systems can be counted on to do the job right the first time. And for bigger jobs, internet connectivity, server issues, Vellve Systems is the only solution.

I own a 4-years-old Lenovo IdeaPad Z580 laptop. The charger on the laptop became loose for probably less than a year. However, I was still able to charge it. One day, it just didnt charge anymore. I searched online to find a computer repair store in Charlotte, and there were a few stores that charged a diagnostic fee of $50. Im a poor student attending CPCC, and my goal was to find an affordable price for my budget :P I had an estimation at Vallve Systems for $200 to repair it. I had another estimation done at J&Y for $250! I was very indecisive at that time but Vallve Systems was very patient with me. They listened to me, and before doing any repairs they made sure to call me and let me know of their diagnostic finding and the price to have my laptop repaired. Just recently I dropped my laptop and the screen went black. However, it could still power on. I returned to Vallve Systems, and at the time, school had just started. I told Diego, the tech, that if its possible Id like to have my laptop repaired ASAP. He was very transparent and let me know that they were backed up. I understood and respected that. The next day Diego called me to let me know that my laptop was repaired! :) I highly recommend this place for students!

I took my laptop to them and was told it would take 5 to days to repair, after two weeks I called once a week and was told that they would call me by 5pm that day to get my laptop, After doing this for a couple of weeks, I called and told them I was coming to get my laptop that day around 5. I called them at 5 and was told it was ready but could I pick up the next day. I asked about the price and was told $170.00. The next day I went to pick it up and they were at lunch and told me they would deliver it to me around 3, I called them at 6 and they said it would be another hour, I told them I would pick it up the next day, I went to pick it up and the price had went up to 190.00. I turned it on and told them it was really slow, they told me I had a lot of them on it. Those are the same things I had on it when I took it to them and it wasnt that slow. It takes five minutes for my desktop Icons to load. Now I have to take my laptop somewhere else to get that fixed. Lastly I dont think customer service or return customers are very important to them. The old saying is you get what you pay for, they were less expensive and I got cheap service, next time I will pay the money and get my laptop repaired properly.

I just picked up my laptop today, Friday, after dropping it off on Tuesday, and I have to write this review. After reading the other reviews of this company, and in particular, Alex the owner, I decided to give these guys a try instead of the "Big Blue Geek Guys" Ive used in the past. Alex was the best. The minute I described my problem he knew what it was about 99% of the time with my computer model, and that was the problem. He did not charge to evaluate it, and if I had chosen not to fix it, then he would not have charged me. You cant get that anywhere. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and HONEST. He said lets do the lesser expensive repair to fix it, and if that didnt work, the we would have to repair the motherboard only then, and only then. I wanted to spend the money to replace the motherboard anyway, and he said no. It wasnt necessary and I would not have upgraded the performance by doing so. How many other computer repair shops would have told you not to do that. Alex is truly the BEST, not the "Guys in Blue". Go see these guys, you will save money and not be disappointed.

Incompetent and Lazy I brought my PC in for investigation into a flickering problem (most likely the video card). The owner was nice but he had an employee handle my PC. He told me that the video card needed to be replaced and that my current video card (2 years old) is the only one that will work with my motherboard and that there was one in Arizona that is $500. That’s a ridiculous price for a 2 year old video card. I can get a brand new one with double the capabilities for $200. I checked my motherboard on some forums and there were people hooking up GTX 970s to the motherboard I had. This employee was either incompetent or lazy (perhaps he didn’t want to install new drivers for a different video card or didn’t bother looking my motherboard up and thought, let’s just get the same one). The cost of his laziness? $500 for something that is worthless. This place was a complete waste of my time as I went out of my way to go here because of the good reviews. If the owner looks at your PC it might be better, but be wary of his employees.
