I wish I could pick NO star!!! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have had in my life. They are the WORST company DO NOT rent from them. When I viewed the home I rented electrical wires were hanging out, a window was broken, water leaks, dishwasher leaking, one bathroom was completely unusable, therr was a old dirty toilet sitting on the patio. I was assured the house was being renovated before I moved in. I spent $400 on a moving truck to move from my home town to Charlotte and when I get to the house NOTHING was fixed. I tried calling my property manager no answer called the companys phone no answer called maintenence no answer. I emailed my property manager and he told me someone would come fix everything. It took weeks. Then the ceiling started leaking because they need all new pipes in the house they tried to say there was a fork stuck in the toilet and charge me hundreds of dollars when that bathroom was completely unusable before I moved in I emailed the property manager Wellington telling him the bathroom doesnt work at all multiple times. It took them months to come fix anything and they did a half ass job so it still doesnt work!!!! I had to get housing code involved for them to even come out and "fix" the numerous SERIOUS violations in the home. My daughter and fiance were both electrocuted multiple times. There was a lot of black mold in the home. My kids and I got sick and had to go to the doctor/hospital multiple times. I had to get housing code involved again because whatever they "fixed" wasnt fixed and there ended up being 10 other violations added to the first 16. And there is STILL the same wiring, ac/heat/vent issue, and the unusable bathroom, water pressure issues in the other bathroom, and the ceiling is still leaking. Then they unhooked my washer and dryer and didnt hook it back up correctly so when I washed a load of laundry water lesked everywhere there maintence man James came and told me water was leaking 20 minutes after but didnt turn it off so that ruined over $1000 worth of my personal belongings. Then they had the audacity to try to charge me for that!!!! The bathroom that was unusable since I moved in leaks into the light fixtures and ceiling in the living room which is dangerous! The heat/air conditioning never worked. The whole house is double wired to low amp circuits so the breaker constantly trips. I lost $500 worth of groceries because the breaker tripped and the kitchen is wired to the same circuit as all the bedrooms upstairs we tried to fix the breaker but since it was double wired a electrician had to come re wire it and add a new circut but he said the whole house needs re wiring. My property manager Wellington never did his job wouldnt answer my phone calls ignored most of my emails so he ended up "leaving the compay" while we are currently going through court with them. My rent was $1100 water bills $500+ electricty $300 gas $300. I am a mother of two disabled kids and a premature infant and they let us move into a house with black mold, electrical issues causing lights to spark and electricute us, water plumbing issues, water leaks which go into electrical lights and outlets, never changed the ac filter, the a/c and heat doesnt work properly because they need to redo the vents, the ceiling downstairs is uneven and caving, the master full bathroom has water pressure issues so you can hardly take a shower, their are ceiling cracks, the hallway full bathroom was never usable.... I could go on and on!!!! They told me I could transfer to a different house so I went and viewed it and there was dog poop, broken windows, pornos, beers and crap everywhere!! That is so disgusting they would even try to show me that house and offer for me to live there with my kids!!!! They knew about the high water bills and leaks, and electrical issues, before I moved in and did nothing!!! The woman who lives next store told me the past two families that lived there had the same exact issues. This rental company is the absolute worst!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Group 15 Real Estate Property Management Company customer service is poor to say the least. Their business practices or lack thereof are questionable and deplorable. As an owner of a home in Charlotte, NC, we utilized this company to care for our home in a manner in which we expected to be professional, efficient and effective. This company disappoints in every area. It is my opinion their goal is to play the owner and tenant for as much money their pockets can line. Since contracting with the company in December 2013, we have experienced (3) Property Managers; these changes began early in February 2014..A leasing fee is charged annually in the amount of $250, unbeknownst to us. Some repairs were made over the amount of $250 without our knowledge despite the contract specifying notification of owners. The company was receiving monthly management fees and truthfully, I cannot tell you if our current former property manager ever step foot on the property. I do in fact know he did not during our tenants move out nor did he conduct the walk thru with the individual who conducted the final inspection; as our washer and dryer was taken from our home. I had to inform the property manager (Joseph K) of this occurrence after the final inspection pictures of the home was sent to us. In my opinion, if this company in fact hired property managers to actually view the property under their care, he would have known that the property was left unfavorably. Quarterly inspections were not performed which resulted in replacement of appliance(s) and work done in the home due to severe neglect. It is my opinion, some repairs and incidents at the home could have been avoided if the services of this management company and the property manager were rendered as expected. Upon termination with the company, we were will slapped a $215 change of lock fee; a task that we did not authorize AGAIN- only to later find out that the locks were changed due to tenant not returning the keys to our home despite the written email from our former property manager stating " we do have the keys as I have gotten them back from her" -- HIS WORDS-- I could go on however, I will end with BEWARE!! Let me acknowledge as owners of property in a different state, we realized that our misfortune with this company was also our responsibility and lack of keeping our top of the people we hired to protect our interest. In dealing with this company, it has been truly an eye-opening experience for us. In dealing with anyone who is working on your behalf, words for the wise, STAY IN THE GAME and on top of YOUR INTEREST... Definitely a learning experience. I wish I could give them NO STARS

This company is extremely difficult to deal with. They always pass you off to another agent and your problems never get solved until you threaten legal action or call city code officials on them. They seem to have a high turnover, because it is always someone different I deal with. I was supposed to move in on August 1st. I called before I left work early to make sure someone would be there for me to pick up the keys from the office and they assured me someone was at the office. At around 4pm NO ONE WAS THERE! After calling multiple times and getting no one, I was just hanging out in their parking lot for about 45 minutes and a maintenance guy happened to show up. He was able to get the keys for me. I went to the house (my car was loaded to the max with boxes) There was someone there at the house who said she was cleaning and to give her another hour and half. I just had to drive around and wait. When I came back it didnt look much better, the carpets were disgusting. I found out why later... I unloaded my car and then went to my old place to start loading up the U-Haul for the next days move. On moving day, I noticed there was no water. I had called the city of Charlotte to turn the water on the prior day and the next door neighbor did say she saw them out there. Come to find out, THE HOUSE HAD NO PIPES BECAUSE THEIVES STOLE THEM!!!! Also NO AIR CONDITIONING IN AUGUST!!!! No one would answer the phone. How am I supposed to move into a house with no water or AC in August???? I had to move back into my old place, (Thank GOD I could!) and do a month to month lease with my old landlord and wait 6 weeks for the owners insurance agency to replace pipes and A/C. This was just the beginning of the problems the house has, plumbing, electrical, etc. etc. The list of issues I have had to deal with is extensive and I could really write a book about the numerous unprofessional and uncaring experiences I have had with this company, so just listen to me, FIND ANOTHER RENTAL COMPANY, GROUP 15 IS HORRIBLE!!!!
