While (thankfully) I havent needed a roof repair or replacement for my own home over the last few years, Ive been repeatedly impressed by the comments of my neighbors and friends (across the Carolinas) that have used Truline Roofing for their residential and commercial projects. Since I know a thing or two about the roofing industry (and home improvement companies in general) due to the nature of my work in sales and marketing, I know that there are really only three ways to truly "differentiate" yourself from the competition: 1 - Your People. Chuck Hester, Tom Gibson, Rosanne Fields and Greg Steele are just a few of the Truline Roofing professionals that Ive had the pleasure of meeting and they absolutely stand head and shoulders above the rest bc of their knowledge, experience and customer-service-focused approach. 2 - Your Work. See, every roofer in the business essentially has access to all the same products (think tile, shingles, metal, and coatings) so the real difference is seen in the skill of the crew who actually INSTALLS or APPLIES the product to your roof. Truline Roofing only hires and retains highly skilled individuals with focused attention to detail. If the products are all the same, its the WORKMANSHIP that sets these guys apart from the pack. 3 - Your Reputation. Every roofing company in the business will post their most glowing reviews on their own website and give you the contact info for their happiest customers as references. What impresses me about Truline Roofing is how many amazing testimonials people leave for them on third-party independent websites. THAT type of review is what elevates them to the five-star level in my book.

Truline replaced my entire roof 3.5 years ago and now it is leaking. To make things worse, I have been trying to reach them for the last week and they will not even return my phone calls. Stay away from this company. They do shoddy work and good luck getting them to respond to you once theyre gone. Instead of owning up to their shoddy work Trueline is trying to blame the faulty workmanship on the roof cap. I have the insurance companys inspection report and pictures to proof that it was due to improper installation of the flashing around the chimney. I have asked his secretary repeatedly if he is aware that I have called and she assured me that he will be calling me back. Trulines salesman who wrote up the job for my roof has seen the flashing of the roof and he agreed that it was due to improper installation so Truline is really grasping at straws here. Will never do business with this company again.

Having just purchased a home in North Carolina, we were overwhelmed trying to find a reliable company to have to unexpectedly replace our roof, on top of figuring out how to file the claim with our insurance. After working with Truline, I could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend this company to anyone! The roofers themselves worked non-stop to have the roof done in no-time and the finished product was a real quality job. Truline even handled the claim through our insurance and had the roof entirely paid for. Overall a great experience, highly recommended!!
